Not well maintained campground. OK for one night but wouldn't want to stay longer.

Not the nicest KOA. Location near to Royal Gorge is important. Our site was very small and there is alot of dirt around the campground which makes for a sandy, dirty camper. Not much in the way of amenities, everything seemingly in a state of disrepair or closed. Lots of dog droppings around the area. I would not recommend.

Friendly staff. Nice level pull through full hook up sites. Close to Royal Gorge Park. The outdoor play area is great to entertain children.

LOVED this little park. Clean, neat. Friendly helpful Staff. Especially Liked that all the sites had a sweet little patio of some sort. Beats the heck out of grilling between trailers!!! Thank you

Campground is close to Royal Gorge Park. Including zip lining, hiking, and trolley rides. There are many other places nearby to do. The campground is secluded enough but, close enough to make it to nearby historical markers and towns.

We originally planned to stay one night, but so glad we extended it to two! A nice, relaxing campground, nice people, clean facilities. We stayed in the Camping Cabin, and it was cleaner than expected and stayed warm throughout the night. We have been to a number of KOA/other campgrounds in the past, and we now have a new benchmark with the Royal Gorge/Canon City KOA. Thanks for the great stay!

I have stayed twice this month in one of the cabins. A bit pricey but so worth the view. This site is extremely clean and well managed. Lots to do for families and little campers! We will return! Cara

The campground manager and staff were very helpful. Our site didn't have a firepit, so the manager loaned us hers. That's going out of your way!

The campsites were much to close to each other. Some campsites should not have been build as they were too small.

Check in/out was simple and easy, staff friendly. The cabin at first glance looked okay. Broken slide on kitchen drawer, 1 dish rag/1 dish towel. The water spout on the tub was loose, bathroom floor was filthy, 5 bath towels [great], 1 washcloth/1 hand towel. The comforters for the bunk bed had not been washed and some of the pillow cases were dirty. Mattress on hide a bed is stained.

The campground was very well maintained and clean. We enjoyed the proximity to the Royal Gorge as well as 4 Mile Ranch Golf Club.

Spent four nights at this campground. Very convenient to the Royal Gorge and Garden of the Gods. We had a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains. Very pleasant staff.

Jennifer was absolutely the most phenomenal campground host we have ever had in our many years of camping. She made sure we were comfortable, happy, and went above & beyond at every turn to make us feel welcome &safe. The campground has so many fun features and stunning views, is close to the Royal Gorge park and bridge, and Jennifer and we cannot wait to return for the fall!!

The manager is incredibly sweet, one of the nicest people I've ever met and made us feel so comfortable, at ease and made our stay so comforting and enjoyable. The big slide was the biggest hit for our kids and you just can't beat the view.

My husband and I tent camped here with our three toddlers. Everyone had a great time. The tent sites are wonderful. There is a level area for tents and plenty of trees for shade, seclusion, and hammock hook-ups. The children loved the entertainment provided by the campground too. The bathrooms were very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. We will definitely be back.

We love KOA deluxe cabins. Prefer the privacy and outdoors over hotels whenever possible. Rented 2 cabins. These cabins were not clean. Very disappointed about that. Beautiful views, nice campground. Please do better. Thank you.

We had a great stay at the Royal Gorge KOA! The staff was very accommodating. Playgrounds, activities and the pool made it a memorable experience for the kids. We'll definitely be back again!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restrooms and dog park were kept clean. We wished the sites(at least where we were) were not so close to each other and that the sites were more level. It was good to get away and meet some other nice campers.

The campground was quite during the night. It was nice that our spot didn't have another camper right next to it. That's not the case for all spots. There is the need for some updating around the campground. But, with it being 2020, times are hard.

Site location in the campground was good except we expected to get a brick patio with a couple of individual chairs by choosing a deluxe site. Instead got a gravel lot and a deformed picnic table. Fellow campers in our area were generally quite and respectful. Overall good R&R time!

Bathroom in cabin was not well cleaned, manager did not enforce mask wearing in the store, group camp site and outdoor kitchen area were a mess. Will not return.

Everything was mostly good. The cabin had clearly not been swept before we arrived and the steps to the porch were a hazard. We were afraid we would break an ankle every time were coming and going. Why if there is a statewide fire ban, were fires allowed here?

I put that I had a 31' trailer, little did i know they really needed to know total length of my truck and trailer. I barely got into the slot. Wifi was sporadic, and as they started to fill up on Thursday night it became unusable. Over all the facilities were clean and nice. Not a bad location from the Royal Gorge and about 5 miles outside of Canon City (though really no RV slots are closer).

We spent eight nights at the Royal Gorge KOA and loved it. The grounds are well-maintained and the staff was attentive and helpful. The young girls who cleaned were especially hard-working and fun to watch. We have stayed here many times before and we will return.

While the Royal Gorge KOA is located very close to the bridge, is in need of some maintenance. I don’t know if the go carts are still active or not, and there are “trees” growing up under the large slide. It’s not a bad place to stay, it just looks like a tired place past it’s prime.
