Under construction, very old slide and golf we were led to the wrong site, however staff very nice and accommodating maybe just overwhelmed

strong sewer smell, dogs barking & running loose, dog poop all over, way to close to other campers (heavy cigarette smoke) little girls in men's restroom w/o parent. Complained & told: "If you don't tell us, we can't fix it." No security observed, staff apathetic. Left early (paid for it!) to get away from smells & bad experience. Never coming again & warning friends.

Very clean and well maintained site. Folks were friendly and because we are fairly new at camping, it was nice to have someone take us directly to our site

Easy access to trails, gorge, rafting, and restaurants. Campground was nice and enjoyable. Staff were solid.

Members of our family also rented cabins K59, K60, and K61. The air conditioners in those cabins malfunctioned causing our family members great distress. Sleeping was difficult it was so hot inside the cabins. Management efforts to fix the problems were unsuccessful. This is why you are getting a low rating.

Beautiful views, graveled roads so was a little bit dusty (as to be expected), older restroom/shower facilities - but clean and well kept, very friendly and helpful staff. Close to Royal Gorge and not too far from Cañon City eateries & activities.

Not quite what we expected. The bathrooms were not all working. The pool was very cold.

Layout for sites is very awkward for large rigs to maneuver in and out of. Driving lane very narrow especially since towing vehicles don’t have adequate space on site to park.

Friendly staff and a nice clean campground. The location was close to lots of activities and restaurants. My only negative was the pool was cold even though the temperature outside was 90+.

Check in and out was quick and painless. Beds in the kabin were a bit more comfortable, but still was a little rough. Not horrible though.

Always feel at home at a koa. Cabins were clean. Window AC very nice in July. Friendly and attentive staff. The pool was so clean. We could see the Royal Gorge Bridge in the distance from our site. I would go here again.

Management and staff were extremely kind and helpful. The online reservation did not have an updated map and we entered the park thinking we would be in a different section of the park. While I would still recommend the park, this should be cleared up to avoid confusion.

Place was well managed. Nancy was so accommodating. Kids enjoyed pool and I did laundry. Washers were left full of cottage bedding for many days, but Nancy accommodated us. Water pressure was low and shared hookup with another site so really low. However was a great place and shuttle cost to close by sites was better than taxi prices. We would stay here again.

Staff was exceptional. Always smiling and friendly. First time camping with my kiddos and couldn’t have asked for a better experience all around. Quite at night and the view was spectacular. Definitely worth the visit!!!

Was very nice however the whole place seemed quite run down and could definitely use some updating. The store did not have much to offer and was quite barren in some areas. The bathrooms were so nice and beautiful I just wish the rest of the grounds matched

The staff were friendly. Site was clean. We appreciated the activities being offered for the kids. The only negative was the cold pool, would have been nice to be slightly heated or covered at night to retain heat. The general store was great too and not overpriced. One of the closer sites to the Royal Gorge. If you like to walk/bike make sure you take the nature trail. Miles of dirt road.

Our stay was definitely not what we expected. The tent we reserved was rained out & we were put in a cabin, AC in the cabin didn't work for longer than a few minutes at a time. We had a peeping tom at 1am looking in the open bunkroom window with a flashlight where my wife & baby were sleeping, it was the next door cabins teenage son who was weirdly obsessed with our baby. We won't be back.

We booked with the understanding we would have access to the go karts. The pictures of the mini golf must have been photo shopped or from 50 years prior. Golf balls were not accessible, you had to hunt for them on the course. We had to pay for a slide pass and at other Koa campgrounds the slide and mini golf are free and better maintained with booking. The facilities were run down.

We brought a young adult group from Texas to stay at Canon City Colorado KOA. We loved it! The restrooms were newly remodeled and there were plenty of showers and restroom stalls. The swimming pool was clean and inviting too! The staff was kind. The little cabins we stayed in were clean and the air conditioners were great! We loved it and will bring groups back to this location in the future!

It was a beautiful campground with many activities, but the showers are tiny and the campground is not handicapped friendly at all. No access to the bathrooms with my walker or EV - nerve-racking to haavmmfe to navigate steps and level changes with only my cane. Despite the above, we did enjoy our stay along with God's beautiful creation that was all around us!

Coming into the campground for the first time in the dark was a little hard to navigate and find our campsite. Your campground is beautiful and we wished we could have stayed longer. This one is on our list to return to!

We have stayed at this KOA for years and we love the J sites. We were in the new patio sites this time and the shade poles are in the way of awnings, slide outs, kitchen doors. They really do not shade much.The sites look beautiful but are very close together. We asked our neighbor if he could move his truck as getting out of the site was close. Thank heavens most campers are great and helpful.

friendly staff, very helpful staff, pool very cold and dirty, kids loved the slide, like the night movie for kids, family was disappointed there were no go carts like advertised, over all it was a good stay.

We recently spent two nights here. The campground was clean, and there were so many activities available. The staff was wonderful, and did their best to reopen the giant slide after it sprinkled and they had to shut it down. My grandson really enjoyed our stay here.

clerk couldn't get my perks figured out and was going to give me 20% off for my trouble but didn't. We paid for a big site, camper plus trailer, but got a smaller site. I could have a better attitude about it if we had gotten that 20% off. Place was clean and everyone was friendly. 2nd set of showers was nice but water never got hot or warm.

New site are to narrow and the big boulders outlining the site are to big and causes problems. The steel poles for the table covers are in the way for putting slides and you are unable to put you RV’S awning out.

A little more grassy areas for dogs and kids would be nice. Also, there were things that needed fixing in the women’s bathroom - bathroom faucets, clogged toilets and an entire shower that didn’t work. This is our second stay and we would probably stay again, but a few small fixes would make it even better.

Beautiful campground set in the mountains. Nancy the manager is helpful and sweet. Very quiet and kept very clean.
