Great place except for the WIFI is very weak and does not have cable TV.

Our stay was great. The employees all made us feel like family. Jill and Nancy were super. They went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure our vacation was fantastic. I will highly recommend this KOA to family and friends.

Site was MUCH too close to adjoining site and sharing the water facet was unacceptable with ridiculous water pressure. No light at the dog park, WiFi was very poor, as was cell service, and No cable TV.

Since the policy is to charge extra for children daily we feel that the programs, especially the slide be open during the week. We stayed in 2020 for July 4th and things were in a lot better shape. Our children were disappointed that the special activities were just on the weekends.

Great, clean campground. Lots to do in the area, and at the campground. Nice trail to walk from there as well. Only issue is (and I understand the reasons for this) all sites are too close together. And while the large rocks used to delineate one site from another are very attractive - they can make getting a large RV in and out tricky.

Honestly, not happy. I have a 24 ft Class C. On the way to my site I was checking the sites out. They all had some shade, a concrete patio with table and chairs, a fire pit with chairs. I thought "this is great". My site, end of the first row, was terrible! It was all rocks! I couldn't even put my outdoor rug or chairs out. Receipt said "temp site". I left after first night! Staff nice.

The water pressure could have been better. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this KOA.

We had a problem with the 30 am outlet. Our Neighbor lent us his 50/30 converter and we were all set. The good folks at the KOA also offered to loan us one but our kindly neighbor from Texas had already helped us out. The views were beautiful.

Good stay, difficulty getting out of the spot due to the tight turns and location of site to the exit roads.

I didn't have a reservation, but was able to get in. I didn't like being offered the most expensive site first and a more reasonable choice when I balked. I was told they were full, but they weren't. There were 18 open sites in my area alone. As for the stay, the facilities were nice and centralized, and the sites were level.

It was great, however it advertised go karts, but none were operational and no track. The slide was locked and we had to continuously find a staff member to open it for us even though we had purchased a wrist band and the office gal told us it would be open all day.

Staff great and fun. Check in was quick. Site 16 was at the end of row with no patio base. Traffic guess by a lot but was not an issue. Did have tree for shade. Hook up fine. Restrooms/showers clean. Store has ok stock. Prices not bad. Very friendly staff and make you feel welcome. I'd stay again

We enjoyed are stay very much and look forward to visiting again in the future. The campground is well maintained and the staff are very helpful. There is a lot to do in the area and the scenery is beautiful.

We were very disappointed in our site. When making the reservation we were told we would be in the beautiful new section. The sites are too tight, there wasn't room to open our basement compartments on one side, if someone was next to us we couldn't use the firepit since it would be too close to our neighbor, also the utility hookups and poles for the covering of the patio are not placed well.

I'm going to hazard a guess that this KOA is under new ownership, or its owner found funding for substantial upgrades. The park is clean and adequately run. Note to management: the pea gravel is great for pedestrians and vehicles especially in wet weather. However, it stops wheelchairs dead.

Friendly and helpful staff in a good location but there are some negatives. The internet is useless even when the park was nearly empty. There was no over-the-air TV reception. When RV arrived next to us they parked their vehicle completely our site. They said the KOA person told them to park it there. The site was fairly level and the utilities worked well.

The staff were very friendly and always willing to help or answer a question. Check in was so easy. They had staff waiting outside to guide you to your camping spot. Text messages were helpful when looking for an added activity or to let you know about an upcoming event. They even texted to see if there was anything you needed.

We have been going to Royal Gorge/Canon City Koa for nearly 15 year on Memorial Day Weekend. We have a group of us that go every year and enjoy every moment. Owners and employees are always very friendly. Plenty of activities for kids and adults alike. Check in is easy and RV sites are always ready for you to start relaxing.

The 2 ladies running the office the day of our arrival were fun, friendly and efficient. It's a beautiful area and far enough off the highway that there wasn't road noise. My only negative is that I feel the spaces are not laid out well; sites too close together; picnic tables too close to the next site. We did enjoy our stay though.
