I stayed 5 days in an rv spot hoping for a peaceful vacation and in turn I had to deal with the constant noise of construction machinery and workers, not pleasant at all, couldn’t even cook outdoors due to the amount of dust blowing over my campsite due to the construction taking place next to me.

Great value, great fun, clean facilities & fantastic staff. All the staff went above & beyond during our stay. We met up w close friends we hadn’t seen in years. Wonderful to share memories around the fire.

The only disappointment was the power outage during the first night. I understand this was out of KOA’s control. The only thing that would have been appreciated would have been advanced noticed. I would have packed my generator.

Mostly a good experience no luck with Wi-Fi connections and you may want to consider posting sign for overflow parking

Severely kid activities during the week, and it was Easter Break. Planned electrical outage that we weren’t informed about.

This KOA is clean, very well kept and the entire staff were helpful and nice. We are looking forward to staying there again in the future. I give this campground a 10 plus all day long.

The cabin is immaculately clean! The campground is beautiful. Close to supermarkets. Close to the new waterpark, Sesame Place. Had an issue with our bbq grill but they fixed it right away and even gave us few wood stacks for the inconvenience. They know how to take care of their campers. Definitely will recommend KOA SD!!!

Staff was very friendly and helpful, the sites were very well maintained. The bathrooms were spotless and so were the showers. Loved the K9 dog park!

Pretty disappointed that activities were not available during the week (rock wall, etc). The cable at our site didn’t work, and when we asked the front desk we were told “the tree roots damaged the wires”. Both of these things would t have been a big deal had the site been discounted or if it was disclosed ahead of time that these things wouldn’t be available.

We had a great stay. We are coming back down again mid April. If I had one negative comment it would be I went up to use the hot tube six different times and never got it. Full and I mean full of kids every time.

The KOA exceeded my expectations. It is conveniently located minutes from all major attractions and the beaches. It is well kept and the amenities are awesome.

We've been going to metro KOA San Diego since 1997. We've seen the renovations, improvements, And constructions thru out the years. We've even been here during covid. We've stayed in tent sites, cabin no bathroom, deluxe cabin, eco tent. WE LOVE METRO KOA. Staff are wonderful, Friendly and patient especially with children. Clean accommodations. Prices are reasonable.

Very nice park and the staff was very good. Made as feel welcome all the time. The lots are a bit close together but manageable. We stayed with a 40' Motorhome and tote.

Been staying at SD Metro KOA for 20 years, it is always wonderful. Al, the assistant manager was awesome this trip.

I sincerely hope that this KOA reconsiders renting to long term stays. We were put by a camper who appeared to be long term stayers. The man from that site said his children were attending school in the area. We would have marijuana smells coming from their site into ours quite frequently, and they site was littered with all their junk. Maybe group long terms, and make a smoking section.

We stay at this resort at least once a year. Its great location and amenities is perfect for running around the south cali-coast. A gem in the middle of San Diego.

Our site and pad were dirty with garbage upon arrival. Noise was excessive and carried on well past the posted 10pm quiet time. It was difficult to keep the smell of marihuana out of our RV at night, which was terrible for our kids. Overall nice facilities, including a beautiful pool, but a poorly managed park filled with party crowds, not campers/RVers.

Extremely well maintained great staff lots for kids to do. Great location easy to get to with our 40 ft MH towing. They really are the best run KOA we have been too

The entire property at San Diego Metro KOA is fantastic!! My kids had so much to do to entertain themselves, they especially loved the jumping pads and of course the pool!! I think the only improvement that could be made would be to clean the spa out more frequently, which I'm sure is hard to do. Wonderful overall stay.

They had a planned power outage and failed to notify us with time to either cancel or reschedule and our food in the refrigerator had to be thrown out

Nice location for visiting San Diego attractions. Clean, quite campground . Many activities for the kids. Somewhat cramped sites with little privacy.

Very clean, and a wonderful place for kids to have a super time, and for parents to feel safe for their children. Very nice sites, and well maintained, too. The only drawback is the expense per site, which is pretty high compared to other RV Resorts in the area.

It was a great get away for us. The deluxe cabin was wonderful. The activities were nice - we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Having a camp fire at the end of the day having Samores was fun! We will be staying again in a cabin as our days of being in a tent are gone. Need the comfort! Thank you for the great time!

Very nice campground centrally located in San Diego. There is no internet service however, we could connect to the router but it did not provide internet service all week. Good cell service made the lack of wifi tolerable.
