The KOA exceeded my expectations. It is conveniently located minutes from all major attractions and the beaches. It is well kept and the amenities are awesome.

We had a blast tent camping at the KOA. We brought earplugs for sleeping. Between the helicopters, road noise and happy campers telling stories around the camp fire it can be noisy. The kids passed out from pure exhaustion and had zero issues with the noise. Just us old adults that needed the earplugs. We have already booked our next stay!!

We stayed at the camping tent site and we loved it. It was the perfect place to camp with our two little ones. The amenities were perfect. We are definitely coming back.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Safe, secured campgrounds. Even the prices at General store were reasonable. Will return.

The campground was awesome. Facilities were very clean and the grounds we so well taken care of. We are Chula Vista locals and it was so nice to be close to home but in vacation mode. The cafe has great food, fantastic wings.

My daughter and I had a great time, met lots of friends, loved swimming and playgrounds. Downside was our last night the party cabin next to ours moved all of our stuff to play soccer, when we came back they got pissed and spent the rest of the night blasting music and being obnoxiously loud. Would have been nice if the areas were patrolled a little better to keep this from happening.

We had a wonderful time, we enjoyed all of the activities and the fun bike rentals. The bathrooms were very clean. The campground felt very safe. We will definitely be coming back and will recommend!

We love KOA at San Diego Metro. We come with kids. This time we came with our tent. We love convenience and service. Love cooking island, showers, pool, jacuzzi, activities for kids. So many places to go around. Can't wait to come again.

I didn’t realize this spot was right next to a freeway and had wall to wall people. Pool and bathrooms were nice, cute kids activities if we had younger kids. My teens were disappointed there was no actual “nature”. Very small hot tub that was always packed. Easy to check in, nice staff. But we will not be back - looking for more outdoors vibe.

The person who sets up and cleans the exogenous does such an amazing job. You can tell they take pride in their work. Our stay was amazing. Our only complaint would be some of the front desk clerks need work on their customer service and how they speak to guest. Other than that we love Koa and will return

Neighbors were right on top of each other. Our site didn't have a fire pit. Smelled like cigarettes all night. Over priced. I gave you two stars only because my kids loved the train and the park. Otherwise I would never come back.

The pool area is absolutely gorgeous, beautiful laundry, water temperature was perfect. It’s a bit pricey for just a tent site but we’ll come again for the general good feeling and amenities.

Everything is so expensive and people can't afford to camp and relax from all that has gone on for 2 years, camping is fun but koa to expensive ..

The tent camping was great! Easy to navigate and in a great location. The firewood was not good and should not be sold and the bathrooms should be labeled better.

Normally I give 5 stars, but this time there were issues that don't allow for 5 stars. First, we were in a tent site that is just for tents and we had a HUMONGOUS EMPTY RV parked in the spot next to us for most of our time at the KOA. Wow..I dont even have room to finish my review...anyway, Fri/Sat night noisy neighbors until 1am incredibly foul mouthed. pretty disappointed in this stay.

It was awesome. The site next to us was pretty close to our site but it’s ok. I would suggest offering the fire pit upon check in. We got to the site and didn’t realize we had to request for one

I wish i had known the tent sites we were given are not in the main area. We were under a freeway and not by anyone else. I would not have booked at all had i known.

While the amenities were fine, the employees were definitely lacking in experience and training. We were all pretty annoyed at the loud, vulgar music especially after hours, but appalled when a driver came way too close to the parade of kids (while waiting for the costume contest in the Backyard) and NONE of the teenage staff were prepared to stop hep stop the lost and confused driver.

My my stay was enjoyable up to the point where Kurt/Kurk, came up to the two sites and said there was a complaint of voulger music . We had over 6 children below the age of 12 and we’re not playing any such music. But through walking we heard extremely voulger music, till 10 pm . We were made felt very uncomfortable by this staff member especially. We checked out early to avoid this man.

We have been going to this KOA since 2007. Every time the property is in excellent condition and the staff is awesome. Halloween is especially fun here. They really do it right!

Park was kept very clean. Wife and I felt very safe and comfortable. Campers were also very happy and everyone got along to have a good time! Staff is excellent and answered all questions to ensure safety and a great time.

I love the staff very nice people but I do wish that the areas would be picked up a bit more but it's not too much of a problem. I found some raccoon poop and they do Cary parasites. Everything else is awesome. I did have a problem with the sprinklers one day and wet all my stuff inside my tent. But like I said great place love the staff. Bathrooms are cleaned everyday and pool area clean �.

Very nice campground centrally located in San Diego. There is no internet service however, we could connect to the router but it did not provide internet service all week. Good cell service made the lack of wifi tolerable.
