Our cabin was just perfect, and the pool/hot tub was a lot of fun. We hope to be back someday!

Stayed 1 night in a dog friendly camping cabin. Book way in advance! They seem to fill up quick. This a really nice KOA with a large pool and a cafe that serves breakfast and lunch. The bathrooms and showers were clean. The staff were super helpful and friendly. I would stay here again for sure.

Always a pleasure to stay. From the staff that checked me in and the store clerk and grounds staff. Everyone is courteous and willing to answer questions. Your place is my go to place to get away, even though there are KOA's between my home and your campground.

It was our first time so I was in awe about how clean the surroundings are, well maintained. Our room was clean and bed linens were comfy and clean, also bert white.

Great value, great fun, clean facilities & fantastic staff. All the staff went above & beyond during our stay. We met up w close friends we hadn’t seen in years. Wonderful to share memories around the fire.

The cabin is immaculately clean! The campground is beautiful. Close to supermarkets. Close to the new waterpark, Sesame Place. Had an issue with our bbq grill but they fixed it right away and even gave us few wood stacks for the inconvenience. They know how to take care of their campers. Definitely will recommend KOA SD!!!

We've been going to metro KOA San Diego since 1997. We've seen the renovations, improvements, And constructions thru out the years. We've even been here during covid. We've stayed in tent sites, cabin no bathroom, deluxe cabin, eco tent. WE LOVE METRO KOA. Staff are wonderful, Friendly and patient especially with children. Clean accommodations. Prices are reasonable.

It was a great get away for us. The deluxe cabin was wonderful. The activities were nice - we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Having a camp fire at the end of the day having Samores was fun! We will be staying again in a cabin as our days of being in a tent are gone. Need the comfort! Thank you for the great time!

Our eco tent was messy on the outside when we arrived - garbage on the ground from the previous campers. The inside was clean. Noise level the first night was fine, on the second night, loud karaoke past 12am. Women’s bathroom was clean. Pillow jump wasn’t open at 8am as stated; didn’t open until later in the day. It was a nice stay, but a few things could be improved.

We have been going for over 9 years and it’s always been exceptional however this last time the staff was not so friendly and it made our stay not so good I felt like they kept on harassing us and won’t not leave us alone

The cabins and restrooms were very clean. The amenities were great for my kids. We planned to have breakfast/ lunch at the cafe the 2nd day but the wifi was not working so we were not able to eat at all at the cafe. We had a great stay and will be back again.

This was our first time staying at a KOA and camping. My entire family, from the youngest to oldest loved it. We stayed in Deluxe Cabins and tent areas. We had an amazing time and will definitely return. The staff was amazing and accommodating. We are already discussing dates to return. The only thing I would suggest is that bikes available for rental be upgraded/fixed, some were pretty old.

Reservation #9888609 To summarize briefly, smoke detector went off @2:52 am wouldn’t stop, kept us awake for an hour until we flagged down a groundskeeper, no reply to voicemails left, a/c dripping on head all night, plugged shower 3” water, they tried to repair but never returned. Otherwise a nice campground. Compensation of some sort would be appreciated . Thank you

We had a lot of fun. Wish the spring hours weren’t considered off season with the amenities during the week but that’s just bc we came for my child’s spring break and maybe that’s earlier than everyone also it was during the week. Still had an amazing time.

The kids crafts are just darling! The cabins are super cute and very clean! The pool is large and there are two hot tubs! The gift shop is reasonably priced!

Everything thing was great, only bad note that I have is the dog dropping's being left beside my pet owners. I haven’t seen this that much in the past but sure noticed it this time.

The facilities were clean, staff was courteous, plenty of things for kids to do and it was not very crowded during our stay. Kids had a great time and so did Mom and Dad. March 21-24, 2022

Cabin was very dirty when we arrived after not getting to check in until 4pm because the housekeepers were cleaning it. Not happy with the late check in and stove top which didn’t really work. Additionally, the mattress in master bedroom was a banana bed and sunk in the middle. I’ll never refer this place.

We love the San Diego KOA and will be back soon. The only complaint I have is the floor of the deluxe cabin we stayed in was filthy and our feet were black after walking barefoot inside. Staff and everything else was fantastic. See you next time!

So much fun....took advantage of all the amenities. Pool, bikes, and jumping pillows were favs. Also enjoyed the t-shirt tie-dye, plaster painting and s'mores as part of activity package. Spent 4 nights in deluxe cabin. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This was our first time staying at a KOA and we had a wonderful time! We really enjoyed the amenities on the site. I wish check-in for the cabins were a little earlier. 4pm check-in made us miss a day of activities which was a bummer. We even arrived around 2 hoping we could check in earlier but that wasn’t the case.

Great campground with lots of amenities. Wonderful and helpful staff. Stayed in 2 room cabin without bathroom. The community bathroom is close by and kept clean with Lots of showers. Love the community camping kitchen. A microwave might be a nice addition, placing it high enough where kids couldn’t get to it.

Very nice campground centrally located in San Diego. There is no internet service however, we could connect to the router but it did not provide internet service all week. Good cell service made the lack of wifi tolerable.
