A beautiful well-kept and fully staffed campground. Appreciated that there was storage on site for when we traveled home for the holidays. Facilities are clean and laundry is fairly priced. This would be a great place for a family gathering or weekend with the kids. However, it’s important to note that the sites are very expensive, even the “economy” sites away from the rest of the park.

Was amazed when I compared it to a Thousand Trails Campground. Everyone was very friendly and the grounds and camp sites were all maintained. I would definitely stay at this KOA again.

Great place-Wi-Fi is the only thing that isn’t up to par. About 5 mpbs and I was nearby the pool and tents which is close to the front of park Overall the staff is great and the place is clean and quiet! We will return

Wonderful experience! The activities and amenities were fantastic! Only complaint was that it was very loud in the evenings around our campsite. Also, a few minor typos in the activities calendar like the Bingo said it was located in the Backyard but also the Pool Board Room.

We love spending New Years at Metro KOA. We have stayed on site 1906 for the past 2 years and love it because we have friends in 2001 and 1905. You should concrete 1906 & 2001 and sell that section as a buddy spots.

So noisy with many groups of people staying in large amounts watching a 10 foot television screen all day and night and loud music throughout the day. The campground is lovely but the patrons are disappointing

Excellent variety of kids activities! Great staff and over all a wonderful environment for families. Wish there were more bathrooms around but otherwise fantastic place!!

This is the SECOND time we've had a site with NO cable TV access. In November 2021 the box was disconnected & this stay, site 1908, the wires were cut. Don't advertise this if it's not available-or reduce price of stay!

We have stayed at the San Diego Metro KOA many times. We always have a great time. The staff are great and helpful. We will return this year.

Nice amenities but kids not supervised and all over the place. Quiet hours not followed on Friday evening. Loud music playing even at 2am. Staff were nice but there needs to be more than 2 people checking others in durning peak check in hours. Loved the art packages and that you could do them at your own site.

Park had lots of nice amenities. However the sites are narrow and crammed together. Very poor Wi-Fi and cable. Maintenance not very responsive (reported issue with cable and when they came to verify problem was told maintenance had left for day but would fix issue in morning, no one showed.) Don’t think we’ll stay here the next time we’re back in San Diego.

This was our first time at a KOA campground and we were pleasantly surprised. It was everything and more! We had tons of fun. Many activities for the kiddos and the heated pool was a winner. We were able to enjoy it even in the rain and cold weather. We are definitely coming back soon!

We enjoyed our stay at your KOA. The location was perfect for us. Close to many attractions and easy to get to right off the 805. The place is super clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Loved the park itself. Our issue was too too many kids riding, running, skateboarding, etc UNSUPERVISED. They dart in and out of lots and cross roads right in front of traffic. Rarely did we see children with their parents. Accident waiting to happen.

Even with the rain, we had fun swimming, jumping, playing basketball, and riding bikes. Convenient location and lots to do.

The campground is nice, however, the spot we had (1209) was so muddy and slippery. Granted it was raining but there were several open sites that had more concrete and weren't muddy. I feel for the safety of the guests, sites that are unsafe should not be used. Also, kids should be supervised at jumping bags by adults. Otherwise, we liked the KOA.

Our stay was nice, but only after we moved three sites in order to get our DirecTV satellite working. Too many trees. However, we really appreciated the manager who worked with us to find a site that would allow our satellite to work. Staff was friendly and accommodating.

This was our second Christmas here and enjoyed every minute of it. There was so many more activities for the kids to do this time (Covid shut down almost everything for the kids last year). We will be back again! One of our favorite campgrounds!

Campground is well maintained, plenty activities for kids. RV sites are roomy. Feel safe within campground.

Everything was wonderful except for the very loud campers behind us. They partied until 2AM each night and no one enforced the quiet time printed in your rules. It was impossible to sleep well. This KOA is our favorite and we already have our reservations for the Spring. I just hope rules will be enforced more.

Very nice campground centrally located in San Diego. There is no internet service however, we could connect to the router but it did not provide internet service all week. Good cell service made the lack of wifi tolerable.
