Beautiful campground right next to a creek. We enjoyed our overnight stay.

The campground was well laid out and WONDERFULLY clean! First time I showered in a campground “stall” type set up without the rest Of the floor and my clothes getting soaked! Y’all get an A++ from me! Bobbi

Wonderful

Great park..nice sites..good people running it
Sep 29, 2020
Only issue was lack of shade trees and bad sticker bushes in the dog run. Check in was a breeze and owner was very very nice

We only stayed overnight so we didn’t use any of the amenities, bathrooms, showers or laundry. Like every other KOA we were led to our site which is a good thing in this case as the roads are kinda narrow and lined with large trees. Our site, a gravel pull thru, was long enough and level enough that I didn’t need to unhitch from the fifth wheel. We only used electric, no water or sewer.

The best of the six KOAs I stayed at on my trip. So well organized and I really enjoyed the bath house. Epoxy floor was a great idea. The bunnies were awesome. My only complaint was that I reserved a tent site with a picnic table so I could comfortably cook my meals using a Coleman stove which is self contained and does not leak onto a surface of the table. I was not allowed 2 use the table 4 cook

We were there just one night. The campground was clean and nice. No complaints.

Very nice park. Sites pretty close to each other, but expected when near a city.

I appreciate them giving me the type of site that I asked for but it was just added and so was not leveled (Very rutted) or have any covering: Grass, gravel, etc. We were there passing through for an overnight stay, then of course it rained overnight and all my hoses and power cables were laying in the mud. Friendly people, very accommodating staff and gentleman that guided us to our site.

Staff was ok. Place is operated like it is run by accountants. Asked to stay a few hours after check out was denied. Told spot and park was sold out. Drive by at 4 pm on our way out of town many open spots available including the one we were in. Not cool.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our check out time is 11 and check in is 1:00. We also try and accommodate late check out but on days were sold out we can't do it pass noon. We don't know what time our new guest will arrive.
Sep 26, 2020
Sewer line at site was plugged up so couldn't empty tanks. Water supply was poorly accessible.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have built into our sewer drops a mechanism that catches unwanted items that people try to flush down into our system. Sewer backed up into the campers line. Flushing handy wipes and using wrong toilet paper with no treatment caused this. We removed items from drop and it fixed the problem.
Sep 25, 2020
The people that worked there were very nice. The spots to park for a little close but were nice enough. The bathrooms were wonderful and the showers really nice.

Dusty gravel pit-Never saw anyone. I used to think KOA’s had a National standard to follow. I’ve learned that there are no standards-. The only thing that’s standard is the yellow sign We will not be using KOA’s again The bathrooms were clean

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This summer we have experienced extreme drought conditions with no rain for over 2 months thus it has caused everything to become dusty and dry. Our lawns have been effected to the point where we have nothing but dry brown patches leading to even more dusty conditions.

tHINGS ARE CONVENIENT AND SAFE. THANKS.
Sep 24, 2020
Only stayed one night, but it appeared to be a nice KOA. Spots are really close together and you do get quite a bit of road noise from the highway, but the location is very convenient. Staff were friendly.

Loved the park.

In general an ok KOA . The site we were in was extremely tight. The site on our slide side was unable to open their awning all the way because it would have hit my slide. On my door side we almost tripped over the other site’s sewer hose.

Well kept grounds and a friendly staff made this a great stay. As we have traveled across the country, we have come to look forward to our KOA statys.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your comments. We are glad to see that you are enjoying your KOA stays across the country.

I was escorted to my site by a very friendly man on a cart. The sites in the row I was in are VERY close together and I felt I was on top of my neighbor. It's a large property with a lot to do, but the pool was drained and not available. Only stayed one night in an electric/water site. Felt I paid too much for such a small site.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our pool is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Our sites do vary in width and length. We have had a busy season and full almost every night.

Great even though it was short only one night. Friendly staff and more than accommodating. Ask for a late check out and they made it happen.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks for your comments. Many of our guests are here for only one night which is too bad since Sheridan & the Big Horns have so much to see & do. We thank you for your patronage.

Friendly and helpful hosts, good space between sites, nice trees, very close to downtown Sheridan, dog-friendly with plenty of grassy areas to walk them. We will definitely stay here again!

1st KOA from Texas to Wyoming that wasn't in or near an indusrial park area. This KOA has spacious sites, green grass, and trees.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your comments. We do have large grassy areas and large mature trees to provide nice shade for our guests.

Very nice and very clean. Friendly, helpful staff

Enjoyed my time there. It was guiet. Really close to I-25, but after dark even that quieted down. Would stop there again.

Water was so heavily chlorinated that it was undrinkable. Also they advertised WiFi, but no one in my party (Two RV's and 4 individuals each with phones and laptops) were able to get a signal at our camp spot. We had to go back to the office, and even then it was so slow it was of no use. Owners/hosts were very friendly however and accommodating.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are on city water and yours is the only mention of this issue. There are many people traveling with their children & using the wifi for their online classes. Zoom & similar programs use a great deal of bandwidth. We are proud of this park & try to accommodate our guests needs whenever possible.

It's a decent KOA and the ladies at the front desk were very nice. It's just across the highway from a big truck stop so fuel is readily available, as well as a liquor store :) The spots are a bit close together but it wasn't a problem getting our 26' travel trailer into a pull-through. The dump station is on the road out & any more than two people in line to dump blocks the exit.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thanks for your review. Most of our sites are pull-throughs. Our dump station is conveniently located next to the exit road. Because of this, there is sometimes a small wait due to the number of RVs needing to dump. A full hookup site is also another option.

Staff was not friendly but the owner was. The sites are long & wide.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our staff tries to be friendly with each guest. Some guests are more challenging than others. Some of guest get here & are tired from their drives. Our big rig sites are over 90 st. long and they are wide.
Sep 18, 2020
The campground is clean and well cared for, however we could not get a WiFi signal in our space.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for noticing our efforts around the campground. Many more families are travelling this year due to their children attending online school and this means that they need extra bandwidth for their classroom meetings.

This is a fine KOA for a Journey. A little tired around the edges, but better than most Journeys. People here very nice. Would recommend.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for your comments. We are a KOA journey. This is KOA #4 in the nation. We are very proud of its history and we work had to maintain & upgrade the park as needed.

Loved this KOA. Nice level spot for our 5th wheel with plenty of room to park our pickup. Also plenty of room between sites which we have not always found to be the case at other campgrounds. Staff/owners? very friendly and grounds were well maintained. Visited local attractions of Kendrick mansion and Fort Phil Kearney. Even though we live within 120 miles of this campground we hope to return next summer to stay here and have more adventures in this area.

Mostly empty on my stop here but you could tell it was well cared for. Lots of folks winterizing the campground, pruning trees for snow etc. And it had all the standard KOA amenities. Bathrooms and showers were pristine
