My stay was uneventful, that’s good, utilities were good, water pressure was high 80psi, use a regulator. This park was well run and friendly. The fire ring on my site and many others were not in a usable place and could not be moved, it was right under my awning and right in between my camper and the next. The Large signage for the campground is obstructed by trees and is easy to miss.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Townsend KOA. The staff was great and very helpful. The entire facility was neat and tidy. We were especially impressed with the cleanliness of the bath house. Individual sites were a little tight which is common to most private camp grounds, however, the sites were separated by landscaping and shrubbery which gave privacy to our site and fire pit area.

Only 2 issues we had was the 3am garbage truck and no sewer hookup. I should have paid more attention when making the reservation about the campsites. I assumed all had sewer from my past stays at other KOAs. Otherwise it is a nice campground and we will camp there again since it is away from the crowds in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

Stayed in a camping cabin. Cabin was nice and clean. Bathrooms were clean. Bath house was a good distance away from cabin, but clean as well. People were very friendly and helpful. All in all a very nice stay.

Although our site was tricky to back into (along the river), once we were set up.. we really enjoyed our view and the site! Loved the little built in 'deck' overlooking the Little River. The KOA is very clean and well kept. I really enjoyed speaking with Lisa in the front office about being a Work Kamper for KOA :-) The gentlemen in the KOA store were extremely pleasant and helpful!

Our riverfront site was beautiful and very clean. The staff was super friendly! Toby especially was so nice - even our pup loved him!! Thanks for a nice stay!!

What a wonderful first KOA experience! I think we just got spoiled. The staff just couldn’t do enough for you. The cabin was comfy and right on the Little River so coffe was done with a fire goi g in the supplied firepit with the sound of the river flowing by. The town of Townsend has everything you need. The bike trail is also a must do. Hiking the Smokey Mtns is amazing!!!

We love KOA campground. BUT This year we stayed in the deluxe cabin. It was disappointing because it wasn’t that clean and the AC worked some and we could use the main breaker to shut it off and on. the beds are terrible hard and lumpy. Three of the outside chairs were broken. The Staff was great. All we reported was the AC, they reset it, it worked for two days we didn’t bother them aga

Adam, Zach, Zoomey, David at the store, Mike, Lisa, all the key park workers . I liked the washer and dryers in the shower area. I was impressed by the use of space in that area. Closed the Walls finally kept the heat in and kept down the debris and made it that area more safe - That was a brilliant IDEA! I am amazed every time I come up there! We loved this campground. It was beautiful and clean and so convenient to to Pigeon Forge, Gaitlinburg and Cades Cove. We rented one of the cabins and couldn't have been more pleased. Plenty of room and quality was better than any hotel we stayed in recently. Would definitely go back.

In my 60 years of visiting Townsend, this was my first stay in your KOA. What a pleasant, relaxing, energizing experience. Camped by the Little River for 4 nights. The sound of the River lulled me into sweet slumber every night. Met some wonderful fellow campers. Came home to Orlando with renewed strength and energy. Thank you. Hope to return soon as health and life permits.

We truly had a good time. The cabin we stayed in was clean and charming. The only issue we had was that the fire pit for cabin C16 was totally unusable. Other than that, we will definitely come again and will recommend it to family and friends. Thanks so much!

We have been staying here for years and each visit is better than the last. The cabin was clean and well appointed. The location on the river was perfect. We will be back!

Their photos definitely need to be updated! We were so surprised at how nice the cabin was, we were sortof expecting just a plain ole cabin with basics and basically ended up in a super nice rustic hotel room. I wish I had taken my own pictures, it was bright and clean and comfy. The location allowed us a gorgeous drive to Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. We were also very close to Cades Cove which was also beautiful. Very happy with our stay overall
