What a wonderful campground, highly recommend this place. So clean and welcoming and within distance of many activities. Reasonable rates as well.

I spent 9 nights in DC-19. It is a very comfortable cabin. The scenery is very calming. I would enjoy my morning coffee with a local squirrel that would visit. The location is fantastic. Very close to the National Park. I have stayed there many years and plan on coming back again next year.

It was really upsetting that no one is available to monitor quiet hours. I tried to text the number we were given at check in but got a message that no one is available until 8 am. I am disabled, but finally at midnight I had to get dressed for 30° weather and put my personal safety at risk to go outside and ask the neighboring campsite to please keep the noise level down. We got no sleep!!

Two adults and one child stayed in a river front, single room cabin. It was cozy and clean. Only change I suggest is to have a lamp so the overhead lights don’t have to be on, but I’ll know to bring a small one next time. We really like the campground!!

The campground was clean and convenient to local attractions. The bathhouse was always clean and the hot showers were great. The staff was nice and very helpful.

Great place, highly recommend this koa.2nd time we stayed here.Had riverfront spot 123.Had to borrow a ladder to get up on my roof. Very accommodating. Thank you to worker's there who got it for me.And also to Tobie for your help.

We rented a deluxe cabin on the river and it was great! The area was nice and clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly!

We absolutely loved our stay! We loved it so much we are coming back for another stay in just 2 weeks! Bathrooms/showers are clean. Kids loved the playground! You can't beat the prices! Can't wait for our many more trips to the Townsend KOA!

The deluxe cabin was nice and the provided all bed linens and towels/wash cloths. The kitchenette had dishes and utensils even provided dish liquid etc. The propane heater was not working, however there was also a mini split wall unit that was there for back up it was a bit noisy so they even provided an electric fireplace. We were grateful. Since we were staying for our Anniversary weekend.

The restrooms and showers were immaculate. The sites were ver nice. The staff were very helpful. The tree clearances driving around with the trailer were a bit concerning (if you’re not a pro). But this is my first KOA stay and the overall experience here had my wife looking for more of them down the trail. (Thats an endorsement.). Hoping to see consistency down the trail.

This is the best camp ground ever ! Very nice staff always quite and very clean. We stayed in one of the cabins clean,quiet and didn't even realize you were at a camp ground . I recommend this place to everyone looking for a a place to stay.

I stayed at a back in site on the river and was so relaxing and peaceful!! The bathroom was nice and always clean. Campground was kept clean. The office people kept me updated by text messages on everything! Overall very nice place for all your camping needs! Will definitely be back!!

My family stayed in one of the deluxe cabins & we really had a great time! It is a great campsite, very clean, well kept, everyone is friendly. Really have nothing bad to say! The playground is great for kids & the dog park was a nice addition! Will definitely be coming back!

The deluxe cabin was amazing as always. Comfy bed and everything we needed for a weekend getaway. The campground is the absolute best and the staff is always so helpful and friendly. We will be back soon! Been coming for 10 years and looking forward to the next 10.

The location is perfect! Sitting by the river is very relaxing. Great restaurants nearby. Looking forward to bringing our bicycles next time to ride the bike trail.

The staff was great being friendly and helpful. The campground was clean and they are continuously working to update the resort. Every site in the park is level and all utilities are up to date. The landscaping is beautiful. They landscape to give each site as much privacy as possible. Currently they are renovating the main office. We will definitely be back.

We have been staying here for years and each visit is better than the last. The cabin was clean and well appointed. The location on the river was perfect. We will be back!

Their photos definitely need to be updated! We were so surprised at how nice the cabin was, we were sortof expecting just a plain ole cabin with basics and basically ended up in a super nice rustic hotel room. I wish I had taken my own pictures, it was bright and clean and comfy. The location allowed us a gorgeous drive to Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. We were also very close to Cades Cove which was also beautiful. Very happy with our stay overall
