Loved the campground and amenities! We stayed in a “primitive” camping cabin. Everything was fine with the cabin but more hooks and shelves would certainly be convenient.

The location was awesome but for the price the cabins have not got the accommodations. The only sink is in the bathroom. And even though there was a grill outside there was no where to wash any dishes not even so much as a hose bib outside so not able to cook and then clean up unless you use the bath tub.

Staff accommodating, wonderful stay. Nicely equipped handicap deluxe cabin. Well maintained bath house and laundry room. Nice Outdoor patios, tables chairs for cabins and sites. Sites are close together. Only disappointment was we were there for a week and wanted to get a load of firewood delivered but vendors are not allowed to deliver. Otherwise great stay.

Love this KOA!!! 4th visit. We have stayed in our camper and in their cabins. Very friendly staff and fellow campers. Very nice showers and laundry facility. They are constantly improving the grounds.

Our Cabin was nice and clean and quiet. We called ahead to see what we would need to bring for cabin use. Was quite surprised at all of the things you already had there that I brought just in case. I would suggest that the outside area around the Camp sites be more lit at night. Not being a Camper didn’t bring a flashlight. Couldn’t see walking around the camp sites or Cabins. Great Job �ϋ�

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It had everything we needed and the campground was beautiful. However, the beds were not very comfortable, the floor was dirty, and there were bugs and mildew in the bathroom. Staff was very friendly!

We rented a deluxe cabin by the river which was great. Cabin was clean and ready at specified time. Deck facing river with a grill, fire pit and outdoor furniture. Everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Rented Cozy Cabin with Bathroom. It was great. Bed very comfortable and grandsons had bunk beds with door to close them off. Cabin clean and comfortable. Firepit great for roasting HD and smores. Definitely go back.

Stayed in a camping cabin. Cabin was nice and clean. Bathrooms were clean. Bath house was a good distance away from cabin, but clean as well. People were very friendly and helpful. All in all a very nice stay.

What a wonderful first KOA experience! I think we just got spoiled. The staff just couldn’t do enough for you. The cabin was comfy and right on the Little River so coffe was done with a fire goi g in the supplied firepit with the sound of the river flowing by. The town of Townsend has everything you need. The bike trail is also a must do. Hiking the Smokey Mtns is amazing!!!

We love KOA campground. BUT This year we stayed in the deluxe cabin. It was disappointing because it wasn’t that clean and the AC worked some and we could use the main breaker to shut it off and on. the beds are terrible hard and lumpy. Three of the outside chairs were broken. The Staff was great. All we reported was the AC, they reset it, it worked for two days we didn’t bother them aga

We loved this campground. It was beautiful and clean and so convenient to to Pigeon Forge, Gaitlinburg and Cades Cove. We rented one of the cabins and couldn't have been more pleased. Plenty of room and quality was better than any hotel we stayed in recently. Would definitely go back.

We truly had a good time. The cabin we stayed in was clean and charming. The only issue we had was that the fire pit for cabin C16 was totally unusable. Other than that, we will definitely come again and will recommend it to family and friends. Thanks so much!

Stayed in a deluxe cabin. We found it to have all we needed in terms of amenities. The cabin was very clean. If at all possible would recommend a campsite or cabin alongside the river; beautiful and relaxing. The campground head numerous activities for both young and adult. It’s also situated very near too many other area attractions.

Great place to stay if you have your own camper. Cabins are not being maintained well like in past years. 9/10 in DC9 had black mold in air conditioner and all over ceiling and blinds in bathroom. Slept in car until next day when maintenance fixed the problem. 9/18 stay in CC12 black mold in air conditioner and woke to bites on legs from bedbugs on bunkbed mattress.

My family and I stayed in a deluxe cabin for two nights. The floorplan was cute and well-planned. The furniture was in good shape, although the master bed needed a headboard (my husband kept leaning against the window blinds). We were exhausted when we arrived, and it was disappointing that the bunk beds were not made. While the sheets were clean, the blankets smelled bad. Ants. Great otherwise.

We have been staying here for years and each visit is better than the last. The cabin was clean and well appointed. The location on the river was perfect. We will be back!

Their photos definitely need to be updated! We were so surprised at how nice the cabin was, we were sortof expecting just a plain ole cabin with basics and basically ended up in a super nice rustic hotel room. I wish I had taken my own pictures, it was bright and clean and comfy. The location allowed us a gorgeous drive to Gatlinburg and pigeon forge. We were also very close to Cades Cove which was also beautiful. Very happy with our stay overall
