Office staff was very courteous and accommodating in changing my site from an electrical/water site to a full hookup site for my Class A motorhome. Entire campground was beautiful and clean. The trees and shrubs that lined each site was very pleasing and divided each site for privacy. Sites were large enough to setup the outdoor living areas and room for vehicle parking even for a guest car.

Camp sites reasonably well separated into three loops at different elevations. Site amenities such as picnic tables in poor condition and very dirty. Bathrooms not conveniently located; had to climb up a considerable hill to get to them. Bathrooms not well maintained; there was no running water in the sink in the men's room. Doors left open with sand blowing in. Overall, pretty shabby.

LOVED it, but would have liked the shower to have hot water and the A/C to work in the bedroom! Apart from that, we loved it!

AMAZING! We went with a group of families and had the BEST time! The zip line people were so wonderful with our group! The cabins were cute and fully functional (with A/C!). The environment is woodsy and beautiful - helped by the sightings of roaming peacocks! We are already signing up to go again next year. Thank you!

I'm glad the store and zipline are open again. The pool hours were limited and it was a bummer it was closed by the time we had setup our camp on Friday because it would have felt really good to jump into! The trash situation on Monday morning was really bad. Dumpsters were overflowing with bags left on the ground around it. The campsite had trash on it when we got there on Friday.

No Covid controls at pool or other activities. Very crowded pool. People playing rap music at the pool with f bombs and n word, and beer / alcohol cans on side of pool so that people could drink while swimming: Supposed to be a family place! Quiet time hours are in the rules, but woken up very early each morning by loud, barking dogs! Promised call back from owner. No call back! Just awful!

I love how friendly and helpful all the staff but the only thing I didn't like is the bathrooms from Hidden Point. This bathroom smells and need lots of fixing. Other than that we love to come back again because my kids love all the activities especially the zip lining adventure. I highly recommended that one, its definitely worth it.

Absolutely loved the camp ground. so spacious, clean & so many activities! Just wish the sites were more leveled - but that is part of the camping experience where ever you go!

It’s a beautiful campground. Lots of trees, things to do for the kids and little walks throughout. However, I was a bit confused why I could not have my family stay in a tent with us, yet two other sights I saw got to. There were even more occupants than allowed and their extra vehicles. Not to mention the dogs. Someone had 5 kennels. I highly doubt they had to pay $10 per dog extra a day.

We really enjoyed our visit. Our family planned to swim in the pool prior to leaving @ 11 a.m. (check-out time). However, when we got to the pool & showers, both were closed for maintenance. Since we had until 11 a.m. to use the facilities prior to checking out, that resulted in less than 5 stars. The pool could be maintained early or after closing so it doesn't impact guests. Great staff, though!

The ladies at the zip line and ropes course were amazing. The course was great. Wish the campground was cleaner. Lots of little trash in our site and around the campground and tons of dog poop. Pool was also super gross by Sunday. Trash and balls of hair everywhere! People speed through here like a race track! It’s ridiculous!!! Super unsafe and just not ok for a campground with lots of kids

A lot of the activities that were there were closed and It was also expensive. The site that I reserved online was not the same I got when we arrived. I recommend for more maintenance in the whole campground so it could look nicer so we can enjoy next visit.

Overall we had a great time. The tipi village was a ton of fun. The kids loved all the activities offered! Those made the trip so memorable. The bathrooms and showers near the pool need more attention. They were often gross, dirty and smelly from constant use. It would also be helpful if some of the dirt near the tipi was managed. Maybe grass, synthetic grass or mats that can be hosed off.

Such a great place to stay! A bit off the beaten path but so much to do for the kids. Our grand kiddos loved the beautiful pool area and the in ground air filled trampoline. The sites are nice with room in between your neighbors

We will be back!!! Beautiful and well taken care of. I wish our site had been a bit more level but we managed and they were very accommodating if you asked for help. Quiet and nice. Be careful not to pull into Steckle Park. �

Quiet and clean. Ventura Ranch KOA is way off the beaten path but worth the drive. The folks are most accomodating and very friendly. We'll be back!

Loved our stay at River Edge 7. Our toddler loved playing at the playground and in the pool. We will definitely be back.

All employees as always so helpful and friendly. The office staff were welcoming and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants for a birthday celebration.

We had a quiet premium site with patio. The bathrooms were close by. They were clean and hot water was available. Just had to play a little with the faucet. Peacocks were fun to watch. It was quite a hike to pool and other activities. We didn’t go. If you have transportation to the lower part of the park with the pool, zip line, etc. it’s a great place, especially for families.

Trash in our campsite upon arriving. Trash in the fire pit and surrounding campsites. People camping across from us were loud after 11pm. People at the pool drinking alcohol in bottles. Not one staff person came down to the pool to see how things were going. Rules at this KOA are not enforced! This was a bad experience!

Nearly all of the Staff is very kind with the exception of one woman who rang us up while out on a day trip nearby practically screaming that we were supposed to have checked out that day when in fact I had added another night to our stay. Aggressive tone and major bad vibes don’t equate to a good experience. Definitely put a damper on the afternoon (The phone call came at 3pm Sunday August 29th

I only stayed for one night so I didn't experience everything KOA has to offer. My one night stay was really great though! The site was clean and really pretty. The pool was large and fun. It's also really dark at night so the sky and stars stood out so beautifully, I even saw a meteor! Overall, KOA is a great camp site especially for the more inexperienced campers and family fun.

It was awesome! Bathrooms were clean, I appreciated that. My kids enjoyed the bounce pillow, Gem mining and the pool. We wish there were more activities scheduled but over it was a good trip.

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
