Great time, quiet in the tent camping areas which was nice. Enjoyed the amenities for kids. Front office staff was nice and helpful. Only reason I'm giving three stars is due to the bathroom toilets being broken the whole stay (didn't flush properly), and staff never cleaned the bathrooms or showers during our stay.

Even with a little bit of rain, our stay was amazing! Gorgeous grounds, friendly staff, great location to beautiful towns.

it was fun and cozy... people at office were nice too.. but there is no sink to wash dishes and it was too dark... overall, this stay was good.

We had a great time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only annoying thing was water source and restrooms a bit too far from our camp spot.

We celebrated my son’s bday. The theme was “camping.” The kids enjoyed exploring, jumping, and riding their bikes. Many people wanted to start making plans to return. The staff was accommodating and helpful. It was pretty much a perfect camping birthday weekend.

Our Girl Scout troop had an amazing time. There are so many activities here to keep them active and busy and the family-sized tent campgrounds are lovely!

My daughter’s favorite site! There was a small hiccup at check in, but the front desk staff (Darion (sp?)) was amazingly helpful in squaring everything away. We will most certainly be back!!

We loved this KOA. It’s probably the best one we’ve stayed at so far. I would suggest that you could use a few more people working the adventure course. Once a rescue is required it slows everything down and a lot of work for the few members of staff.

Great place. I've been going there for years in Tents cabins and when I had a trailer. I'm losing my favorite camping spot as it is getting a high priced fixed tent, but times change. I highly recommend the place.

Lovely site and well maintained. Kids had fun with adventure course and ziplining. Pool is close due to winter. Wish there’s a hot tub but overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will be back again!

Our group of Cub Scouts and families had a fantastic time at your campground. The Adventure Course was a highlight for everyone! The staff are so friendly and helpful, the facilities were clean, and the peacocks were memorable. Thank you for an amazing stay!

As usual great. I wish the pool area, not necessarily the pool was open. We get warm afternoons throughout the winter and it would be nice to lounge in the sun even without the pool itself being avalable.

The camp site itself was great, shaded by beautiful mature oaks, and very spacious. The overall rating of 4 (3.5) stars is due to the lack of a cooking utensil washing station available to the tent campsites. Also there are no trash containers at the group sites and all of their trash ended up near my site. Great camping other than those 2 very important negatives.

Tent camping this weekend was wonderful! The campsite was shaded and area is beautiful. The free and paid activities were so fun and with the creek near by the kids were never bored. We forgot our camp chairs and the staff was so helpful! While my son was zip lining, someone dropped off some chairs for us to borrow. THANK YOU!!!

Our Scouts and their families had a fantastic time. All the activities kept them busy and wore them out! We appreciated Stevie, Sharon, and the other staff working with us to get us the details we needed. :)

We had an amazing time! Tent sites are spacious and at Hidden Point we were next to everything! Bathrooms were clean and so much for the kids to do! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun filled camping experience

Was given space 10 when 7 was available. No parking avail at 10. Huge motorhome encroached the area. Had to req a new space.Had trouble locating Hidden Point. Someone flew a drone over my space for quite awhile. I was a solo female tent camper and didn't feel safe; first time ever. I called after hours assist and felt my request for assistance was a disturbance. Overpriced for no water or elect.

We loved the grounds and activities, our only complaint is that the quiet hours were not enforced in the Oaks area.

It seems most KOA's (at least the ones I've visited) are very dusty. More gravel or bark would be nice instead of the fine dirt that gets everywhere. I had booked a different (private resort) location near Lake Tahoe, but, due to the fires, our plans changed... Ventura Ranch KOA had room for our group, even at the last minute, and for that I am grateful!!

Best hot showers in a campground ever. Stayed there for proximity to Ventura Harbor, so we did not get to play at KOA.

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
