No pool and too many peacocks making noise all night long

The surrounding hillsides and a good part of the campground were very pretty. We loved all of the roaming peacocks and beautiful aroma from the lemon groves. The maintenance of the campground itself is very lacking! The bathrooms and showers rate a 1, at best! The trash situation was a big mess!! No TV/cable was a bit of a drag also. No one seems to take care of the park overall.

Very disappointing for a KOA. Bathrooms very dirty, Showers not maintained, water not hot and limited water out of blocked shower heads. No WiFi signal at all on Alder. Garbage cans overflowing. We won’t return.

It was an amazing week long stay. kids enjoy the freedom Even managed to keep.them away from electronics. The pool was.closrx (bummer) but the creek was so fun and beautiful.

The park slides are boarded off and broken., The Little Rock climbing walls are missing hand holds., The pool is closed for the season., The WiFi sucks., The fire pits are not cleaned out., All the main attractions were closed. Asked staff at front desk and they said that was the 1st they have heard about it. Staff was nice but I think someone is lining their pockets instead of general maintenan.

We liked the campsite and the trees surrounding it. The bathrooms were very dirty and need upgrading. The people in charge were accommodating.

Excellent facility which needs a few fixes, notably the bathrooms and showers. Loved the shady RV sites, the amazing children’s areas and the labyrinth!

Love the location. We did a lot of exploring in Ojai, Ventura, and Santa Paula. Campground was very clean and maintenence workers were always available if needed. Very friendly and helpful staff. The Valley and surrounding hills were so beautiful in the spring!! Met very nice campers next to us and even exchanged phone numbers.

We stayed for 5 days and most of everything was closed or not working. Disc golf weeds were over grown, slides were boarded up, only 1 craft the entire week we were there. Zip line ran 1 time and there was a PLANNED power outage for a day that no one told us about at check in. My kids spring break was not very fun for them.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone. The campsite was clean and the hookups were in good condition. Can’t wait to stay there again.

Our second day there we were informed the electricity was going to be off all day. Not the campgrounds fault but with 90 degree weather you'd think they would have the pool open. The worst is the Peacocks on the grounds were in heat. They damaged our beautiful car on both sides with scratches. They see their reflection and think it's another bird. Apparently its in small print on the sign in sheet

Peacocks were cool at first, then became annoying. Their droppings were everywhere and bigger than what my yorkies make, which are picked up. The price is high considering there is no sewer hookup. Campsites are not level. Patio site was lovely, but upgraded table was covered in broken tiles :(

Camped in our trailer. We really liked the Alder area- nice a quiet. We like that this KOA is centrally located to Ventura Pier and Ojai-both places we love to go. We are coming back in August for a loner stay-see you then!

The staff was helpful and friendly! The campsites were well designed and maintained. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back! We met some people who were celebrating 30 years of camping together. This was the first place they camped together and wanted to circle back for a final trip!

Our site was nice. Weather was great and the peacocks were fun for the kids. But we came here to celebrate my daughters bday and there were no activities. We have stayed at many Holidays and this one was not good. Saturday was the only day they had some activities and they charged for every one of them. Won’t be staying here again.

The cable was still out from the Thomas fire (over 4 years ago) They state on the website that the peacocks were (wild), which is not accurate as I saw them get fed. O and your peacock wake-up call is between 3:30 am- 5am. No sleeping with those things screaming. The showers were disgusting. Moldy, not cleaned- saw the same hair on the shower wall for 4 days YUCK! the bathrooms any better

Campgrounds are clean and quiet at night. There are a lot of activity for kids. K9 area is small and there is not water for the dogs.

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
