Site/staff awesome. main reason I went was zipline. Zipline closed for "maintenance" Th, 8.26 i walked around site 4X that day, no maintenance going on. Frustrating - stayed in deluxe cabin 4 nights, only available time (which we weren't told of in advance) was Tuesday @11, simultaneous with another activity I wanted to do. at 11:00 about 4 kids were on zip - that's all - in 4 days. bs

Site 12. Beautiful. We brought a fly trapper bag with us. It wasnt enough.. too many flies! We could barely sit outside during the day but we had a nice time. Too many flies!

Great actives for kids. Our delux site patio was at the back of our trailer so not of much use.

The cabin was nice and clean The bed was terrible and the spare pillows were very dirty and there was no pillow cases

We used the pool & did the obstacle course. The activities were fun! The staff was very helpful & friendly!

You must use commercial-grade plumbing and fixtures, not the less robust type purchased at Home Depot and developed for private home use. We spent 2 nights and after the first I told the desk that shower hot water was not working in one facility and that there was a large puddle under the urinal in another. Neither was fixed. So the plumbing was shabby. In the bigger picture, the sites are jammed

The campground itself was nice. Our spot was not. Dead weeds, very run down picnic table. Couldn’t open awning due to tree. Only great thing is it was close to Ronald Reagan library.

The only thing that needs improvement is the front desk. I realize they're overwhelmed but their procedures aren't consistent. For example if a family arrives with more then 1 car each car should get a parking tag. This wasn't done at the time we checked in. Later in the evening when they were checking the cars is when we were told this was the case, even though we told them at check-in.

This was our 2nd time camping and 1st time at KOA Ventura. Our camping experience at KOA was so much better than at our first camping trip. KOA Ventura has so many opportunities for kids and families that are free or low cost for registered campers. The facility was clean and KOA staff were helpful with all our camping needs. Thank goodness for the camp store.

We had a nice time. However, be aware that some staff have no pulse. I was so excited to arrive, and the woman at the desk didn't greet me/smile/speak. Super awkward. Also, playground slides are broken. Guessing been that way a long time. Fix that stuff, we pay for it. Last, a $25 gem bucket was sold to us, but the water mechanism is DISABLED and stagnant water has worms, so gross and unsafe!

We had a great time snd love the Ventura Ranch KOA. We were in cabin 4. Our only suggestions are that the filter in the master bedroom needs replacing, the kitchen sink didn’t have hot water, and we had to coexist with ants. But hey, we were cabin camping! So it kind of just enhanced the experience. No real complaints, just informational feedback.

Our Site, (Alder, #21) which had a nice patio and furniture was not at all clean or presentable. I'm talking leftover dog poop on the pad. The shower, as an added surprise was cold. Otherwise, the site was spacious, and a very quiet place.

Pleasantly surprised by how nice this campground is and all the activities and amenities on hand. The staff was wonderful and extremely helpful.

Beautiful camp grounds, very friendly, helpful staff. There were lots of different activities to do through the week in the activity center. The pool was clean with lots of shade, we had lot of fun on the zipline/obstacle course during our stay. The beautiful peacocks and their tinyy babies all around the camp grounds were fun to watch too. We had a great time and plan to go back.

The only real problem we had was the loss of electricity during the first night. The main problem with this is we use CPAP machines and the lack of power was a major problem.

Our stay was awesome! It was our first time at Ventura Ranch KOA. We stayed in cabin CR 21 and loved it. I would suggest some repair work to the stairs leading into the cabin as they are loose and may pose a safety issue.

Dirtiest KOA I have ever seen. Not one site where we were was ever cleaned and we were there over a year. No security so call police. Bathrooms are run down and need repair. Been threatened twice and attacked once, the staff did nothing but kick us out with no refund. Power goes out alot. No wifi or cable as advertised. Way over priced.

It was great. The campground was quiet, other than the peacocks but who can control wildlife. Great playground area. Will be back with daughters family.

Very friendly staff. Lots of activities. Very beautiful area. There was a major power problem with our RV spot and others, with it going on and off for a day and a half. The staff were very friendly when we kept calling about the issue. The main suggestion i have for camp management is to do a better job keeping the guest informed of the issue. No one in our area knew what was happening.

beautiful and relaxing,hidden in the hills so much got do, the people there are very helpful and go out of thereway to be helpful if you have a problem. would highly recommend the hidden beauty.we will come back for sure.

First site had no useable wifi. Second attempt the site had weak wifi but not level. Flies were a nuisance- probably from the multitude of peacocks pooping everywhere. Two of the three latches on the doors in the restroom were broken. Only 2 minutes of hot water available. Facility was shabby.

Would have been nice if there 50 amp service was 50 amps. We couldn't run our ac because they are on generators , and there is not enough power.

We had a family reunion and it was a lot of fun The grandkids had a blast on the zip line and obstacle course. My only regret is we didn't get to stay long enough to enjoy everything.

Park has a lot of potential, but needs capital investment. Needs better fencing, better signage, more cleaning. Bathrooms were not clean, especially the ones by the pool. Showers by the pool were tiny, moldy, and disgusting. Our friends stayed in a teepee and it was not cleaned before or after their stay-not acceptable. Too many full timers so it does not feel like a resort.

Lots of trails to walk. Clean new bathrooms at the Pine. We were next to the road and majority of folks needed to slow down! While we did not have any, this is a great location for kids.

To start off we were almost hit by a staff member driving a golf cart who had to lock her brakes up in gravel. The trail down to the pool is sketchy, not up to code and very over grown. A little disappointed in the general store, other KOAs stores have a lot more to offer.

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
