The office staff was excellent and recommended a perfect site. Restrooms and showers were clean and even Max the Peacock came by. Yes, there are peacocks in the campground! Very cool. Great oak trees to hang a hammock too!

Please clean your bathrooms/ showered more often. The one by the pool were absolutely disgusting the entire time we stayed. It smelled so bad you could smell it 20 feet before you entered the restroom. Only 1 activity open daily during the week. 3 activities open on Sat. For the zipline u have to be 70 lb/ 4 ft. Location does not answer phone or emails:( ever.

We had a wonderful Patio set up and enjoyed our stay very much. The Pool was beautiful. Really cool that there is an obstacle course and zip lining available. The only thing that I feel would have made the trip better is if the patio had been swept or blown off when we arrived...it was covered with a lot of dirt and gravel.

We did our first annual mom and kids camping trip. It was a success, we hiked, we swim, we barbecued, and we had wonderful conversations around campfire. The kids run around the campsite which is very safe, wireless mom relaxed in conversation.

Love the zipline! The two zipline attendants were excellent. Love the Peacocks and all the lovely trees. The frog sanctuary was so cute. Will be back in October with the lemon drop divas.

It was a great place but we got stuck with a not great spot...right on the edge of a cliff and the fence had been struck many times before. Even a section was still on the ground. Then we didnt even have an septic on our site...and we stayed we wanted that for our family of 3 and 3 nights of staying. That being said it was a great place in need of maintenance.

Our spots were very shady. More shade at the trailer spots would be appreciated. The bathrooms nearest our tent spots needed to be cleaned more frequently.

Easy check in, LOT'S for kids and teenagers to do.. friendly staff- Lot's of day trips to take, the beach is close, great restaurants in area...

Aside from being put in the only campsite with no shade it was a nice stay. People need a heads up when getting that site. I probably would of cancelled my 2nd night if they hadn’t moved me. I saw someone else pull up to that site later and went right back to the office to get a different site.Put up some shade or repurpose that site. Hosts were friendly and it was clean and well kept.

We loved our pull thru patio site, very spacious. Reading some of the reviews regarding upkeep and bathroom maintenance was a little concerning. We found maintenance and upkeep to be fine. The only thing I suggest is to provide better information regarding trash disposal. We will be back to sure.

I camped with a large group. We had a fantastic time and the management was very accommodating. They were nice enough to not only let me switch my site at the last minute but they also accommodated me when I wanted to extend my stay. Everyone that works there was very friendly and helpful :-)

So clean and well kept. Kids had a blast. Only change I would make is for blob and pool to stay open until 9. Especially during summer months.

Beautiful surroundings but woefully lacking in bathroom and shower facilities. And they were dirty! I was paying for a Covid surcharge for WHAT! everyone in our very large group who had to use the facilities said the same thing. You need DOUBLE the amount of bathrooms and the remaining ones need updating immediately and CLEANING. Not recommending this place

Every was great, especially for the activities, my sun (8) love it! Like a tent camper I would like to have some dish washer station. Is the only that I missed.

This could be the most awesome KOA but right now it needs some TLC. The showers by the pool were awful and need to be redone. For $80.00 a night you would expect full hook ups but only water and electric, very pricey. Some spots have a nice patio while others don’t. 1 dump station for such a large property is not enough.

2nd time going, this time brought more family and friends. Pool time was great, Ziplines were awesome. Very friendly and helpful staff. Kids can’t wait to go back next year!

Loved the setting and variety of accommodations but very loud parties at cabins until after 11pm - called office for intervention but only received voicemail. Need to reinforce security and evening surveillance. Pool was dirty at 6pm - hair and toy parts found multiple times - yuck! Peacocks amazing and nice tent spot - we were in hidden pines spot 9.

Great stay! The zipline, pool and activities were wonderful. Scooby, Angel and Carolina do such a wonderful job of hosting guests and ensuring fun and safety for all. Would be and more sensible if large group sites had a dedicated water spigot. This simple fix would earn a 5+++++ star rating from me but as is, it’s still a solid 4+. Thank you for a great stay�

the Cabin 15 have 2 AC but broken 1 AC by the Bedroom was not dickosed to us the ither AC but the living room seems to be just as bad .. very weak. 1 weak AC is not enough to cool a big cabin like this during summer time. It was umcomfortable and giving us 1 electric fan to replaced iwas not right to compensate. We loved the Obstacle/Zipline instructor, He was great with my little girl!

The wagon we stayed in was nice, there were so many camp kids that none of the kids activities were available to use, including the pool. There was no Covid protection even where it was stated masks must be worn. Multiple groups of people were screaming until midnight and playing on the playground right next to our wagon the first night.I complained, office said they’d handle it but didn’t, et

La estadía estuvo.bien , lo q nos gustó es q en una noche se escucharon 7 disparos lo q nos asustó no sabemos si fue en campamento o fuera. de ahi, al.dia siguiente nos reunimos los vecinos y.comentamos lo q había pasado uno de ellos nos dijo q llamo al 911 para reportar lo ocurrido pero nadie vino.

We had a wonderful weekend at Ventura KOA. We were treated with excellence by all the staff, Sharon was kind, and gracious to us with all our group. All the grounds were clean and safe for all of us to use and enjoy. We’ll be back next year again to enjoy Ventura KOA

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
