Nice and quiet was a positive. We also liked it was close for little day excursions to Ojai and the beach. Also, great environment for young kids. The campsite wasn’t great (B46) although other campsites did look nice. Having only 1 dump station for the size of the park is not adequate. We just decided to pay to dump on our way home as compared to waiting an hour.

Our families first time at the SP Koa and we loved it. Our kids 9 & 111 enjoyed the pool and outdoor activities. We stayed in stagecoach D, it was spacious and comfy! We will definitely be back!!

After 5 years of coming to Ventura KOA, it is still our favorite spot! So fun for the kids and so peaceful for my husband and I!

the only issue we had was with the clubhouse showers and the birch restrooms, they were disgusting and no way to completely flush the urinals. the clubhouse showers water were either cold or hot and there was almost no water pressure. we asked the maintenance person and the office people to check out and we got no response. the previous visit we had no issues.

We had a good time. couldn’t get hot water in the shower unless the sink was running the hot water also. The floors in the cabin were filthy but it is camping. The cabin could use a deep clean. the pool was murky and gross. The pool water actually made my Fitbit stop working and now I have to buy a new one. Couldn’t see the pool toys at the bottom.

We were so surprised to see so many things not working. The shower near our site barely had a trinkle of water if it was on warm, the pressure was better if it was too hot which was way too hot for children. A sink and toilet were broken in the bathrooms the whole week we were there. There was often no toilet paper or soap in the restrooms. They need to keep things in working order!

Nice overall. A little loud, but it’s to be expected given all the activities available. Grounds could be maintained better, there was a fair amount of trash throughout the campground. Littering campers are the cause but a little more housekeeping would be nice. Also the fire pits had lots of ash, seems like they’re not cleaned out regularly.

Recommendation Upkeep of water hook up faucet. Had to use plumbers tape to prevent leakage.

Decent property but was disappointed the pool was very cloudy and closed by 7pm. Cable jack box seemed to be in some sort of repair with multiple cables connected. We tried all cable jacks but none seemed to work so we gave up watching TV. The teepees and covered wagons looked like they would be fun to stay in.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The grounds were less than the typical KOA. Tent sites lacked water spigots and the showers were terrible.

The kids had a lot of fun there were a lot of things to do the swimming pool was great I did call about a plug toilet that didn't get fixed in the restroom by the swimming pool but the others worked fine. The flaps on the teepee do need to be maintained and replaced

One of the best KOA stays we've had! Great hiking in the area! Friendly staff, good store, not too crowded and very peaceful setting. Lots of things to do, especially kids. Loved It!

Nice people, lots to do that you have to pay for, pool is real nice. Baths are stylish but poor plumbing. Hot hot place no ventilation. Grounds are not well keep.

Friendly staff. Always happy to help. Was very accommodating. Campground is always well maintained, clean, Beautiful & natural atmosphere. Great activities were provided. Loved the zip lining and obstacle course. Prices are competitive. Only one down side for me was that the office and store is newly built so the selections were limited. Unavailable items included are milk, juices, bottled water.

Although my sons cabin did not have hot water the whole time there. We made it work. Stevie and Bill were great, very helpful and courteous at all times. Planning on coming back.

We were pleasantly surprised by our campsite in the "Oaks". There was plenty of privacy, shade, and the nearby bathrooms were kept clean and well stocked. We enjoyed our time at the pool, mining for gemstones, and the inflatable pad. The only reason why I deducted a star is because the playground near the inflatable pad was mostly unusable and broken. It was a big bummer for my 2 and 4 year old.

The grounds are nice and everyone is very nice. The teepee that we had, the zipper was broken and the opening ripped, so in the evening it got a bit cold. For the amount that we paid, this should not be broken. The peacocks at night were pretty loud. Personally I like the cold and the peacock noise didn't other me. But my wife had a hard time sleeping.

The stay was great. The campground was clean. The kids enjoyed the jumping pillow and swimming pool. I took one star off and gave a 9/10 was a rude sales person chatting it up with her friend/customer about ice cubes being flushed down the toilet in TikTok videos while we waited to pay for our items. She was annoyed and snapped at us when we finally spoke up and asked her to ring up our items.

Tipi 10 was extremely hot as it has no shade, the door does not close properly and the top is open making it easy for animals to get inside. We had to leave one day early because a big tarantula got inside our tipi, scary all the children. My daughter got hurt in the jumping pillow and I had to take her to the emergency hospital nearby.

Was super greattt. Only thing maybe another restroom close to playground. Other than that amazzzing. Kids had a blassst. We stayed in Wagon and it was really nice and roomy for us as a family of six.

The campground is beautiful and our stay would have been perfect if it wasn't for being attacked (verbally and emotionally) by a "permanent" resident living in the Cedar campsite. My daughter was walking her dog and the do strayed onto the grass area of this resident's campsite and he came unglued and made her feel very uncomfortable. He and I had words and he called the desk for assistance.

Staff was very helpful. Accomodations were nice. The amenities were fully functioning. There are really no complaints. The one issue I'd correct would be ensuring that the doors to the Glamping tent closes properly without leaving a 2"- 3" opening around the top and sealing up the thumb-sized holes in the face of the door.

Our stay here was OK. We have a 41 foot 5th wheel so our selection of sites were limited, not a big deal. Our site was dirty, had trash and the last guest has spit sunflower seeds all over the patio area. Many many low hanging tree branches. We saw lots of staff, driving the golf carts but not once did we see one cruising the camp area, cleaning up the sites or prep the site for the next guest

We absolutely loved it! The peacocks were very loud and the pool could have used a cleaning. Otherwise, it was wonderful! The staff was incredible

Stayed in cabin, was pretty nice, very clean. Lots of things were included, that super convenient. Only disappointment was the pool being closed for service most of our visit. That was one of the main reasons for choosing this KOA. We enjoyed ourselves, and will probably return.

The campsite was wonderful, but we were disappointed with being unable to use the pool for most of our stay. We especially paid more for this campsite to be able to use the pool.

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
