We enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the pool and the shaded campground. My only two complaints are the water pressure at the dump station and the fact we could not listen to music on our small JBL speaker at the pool in our seating area. That rule should change.

Camp sites very close together. Depending on where your site is far away from the amenities they offer. you can stay right next door at Steckel park for Half the cost with bigger spots.

very noisy, music being played by multiple campers, Barking dog, and cabin occupants children and parents walking through our campsite. Site has cigarette butts all over. Peacocks were a nice item.

Some of the sites were quite a bit un level but the staff and management went above and beyond to help us find a site that worked for us. The campground was nice and clean. We would definitely go back,

My site was next to the septic vent- very smelly, probably shouldn’t even be a site. . Also the store hours need to be extended during the week in the summer.

Spent 2 grand on cabins cp07 and cp08. Air condition didn't work in cp08(the more expensive cabin) so our cabin had to sleep in cp07 for 2 days because it was 80 plus degrees . Management sent someone a day later and he changed the filter. That's it. It didn't start working till the 3rd day. I hope I can get some kind of credit or this will go above to corporate offices .

It was beautiful, friendly staff and nice vibe. The peacocks were awesome! Only drawback was the rock wall and bouncy mat were broken but still plenty for the family to do.

Our stay in the Tee Pees was wonderful. We loved the zip line/ropes course! The only improvement I would recommend is to have a closer bathroom to Tee Pee village, even a port-a-potty. It is a long dark walk at night.

The staff was great and friendly. My only complaint is that the water in the kitchen was not hot. To make it hot I had to run the shower at the same time. I notified the staff and they attempted to resolve the problem. That was disappointing since I was looking forward to using the dishwasher on our vacation. I notified staff an second time and no solution was found.

We love this location its great for the kids and just a 15 minute drive to the beach!!! I would love to see the camp store get more variety.

Loud trucks all day. Vehicles kept speeding by our camp site When we told a employee that our 50amp service was not working and water spic was leaking no one came to fix it. The fire pits are to close to campers and we did not get to enjoy a camp fire The pool was extremely to cold for the kids to enjoy it. We will be rethinking going back.

When I opened my fridge and freezer in cabin #3 it had a strong odor of fish. I paid per person and had three children. But only received two pillows and two blankets and two bedding packs. No hand soap. Hair in the shower drain. Our feet were covered black from how filthy the cabin floors were. I had to sweep upon arrival. Pillows were closed but no one let us know things would not all be open!

The wild Peacocks roaming everywhere were terrible! Not only did they poop on our things, but they were so noisy and woke me up between 4:30-5:45am every morning! Thr road going through the campground is a public road and there were huge dump trucks coming through, which is not safe for children riding bikes. I would not stay here again.

The amenities and cleanliness were wonderful and my kids thoroughly enjoyed the ropes and zip line course and pool! However, the large trucks going through the resort were loud and disruptive.

I realize we are coming out of covid, however several " things to do" we're not available or functioning. This should be mentioned on the web site. Disappointed to find out once we get there.

I was at a deluxe pull-through site that turned out to be located right at the entrance/check-in so it was extremely busy. There is also a county road that goes through the campsite so there were big rigs driving past our site the entire day. We couldn’t even sit outside in nature and have any peace and quiet.

The pad was too small for our truck and trailer even though I indicated it was a trailer of 30 ft with one vehicle. The pool and the zip line obstacle course were good. A bit noisy on the weekends with many large parties going on but overall not a bad place to stay.

Missing some essentials paper towels and new scrubber and floors were not mopped the air conditioner was not blowing that cold maybe before guest arrives to have AC on

We were unhappy on Friday when we found out that the road is a public road that runs through the KOA bottom dump trucks running through were very noisy and dusty. Then they stated again on Monday so we left a day early no refund I know they have no control over it but I would ask if they know if there’s construction going on before I book a stay with them

Our stay was more than we expected. We were in group #1 and it was perfect. We hadn’t seen eachother in over a yr due to Covid. Our children were able to play, and us adults were able to visit. It was super quiet and private. The camp host, I believe was Mary or Carol ( I’m bad with names) was very helpful, kind and inviting. Best camping trip we ever took. The campsite was amazing and the park is great. It's good to see the Ventura Ranch KOA making a full recovery after the devastating wildfires. We will definitely come back. Very courteous management and staff. Thank you.

On Thursday 6/3 around 3pm my husband and I were just sitting on the edge of the pool. We were there all alone. 2 woman and a 5yr. came in to the pool area to cool down. They swam in their clothes. They also brought 2 dogs runny wild around the pool. The woman told us they all needed to cool down. They snuck in. They stayed about 30 min. Most people dont wear bands when at pool. No one checks.

Bathrooms were far away from our Teepee. The ladies bathrooms could have had more oversight regarding emptying the trash cans and paper on the floor. Soap ran out also. Check in way too slow. It seemed that the Zip line crowd delayed check in for others. Staff super friendly, patient and efficient.

We had an amazing stay. We rented a combination of cabins & teepees. Made reservations for zipline activities and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The staff are friendly & accommodating. We look forward to staying there again!

Very family-friendly park with a ton of stuff to do for the kids. There is a really fun zipline/obstacle course that our family did, playgrounds and a really nice pool area with plenty of seating and shade. There's also a river area, walking trails, and a very tiny dog park. The staff was consistently all very nice and helpful. The one downside is that the RV spots are really crammed in.

Roomy campsite. Very quiet during the week. Lovely pool area. Lots of things to do for kids. Some of the amenities, such as the furniture at our patio site, are in need of upgrade. Still, a nice stay.

We stayed in the oaks area. The bathrooms were very clean. It was an easy walk to the creek. The pool was very nice and plenty of chairs. Playground was nice. I wished the jumping bean was open. Next time I will pay the extra 25 dollars to reserve a specific spot. I got assigned to site 7 which was right behind the bathroom. There was a broken bench and table at the site. I still liked the place.

We haven’t gone camping for several years. We love the amenities, especially the updated clean restroom and shower area. It was a wonderful weekend getaway. Can’t wait to come back again!

Wild peacocks are VERY annoying. Gravel trucks driving through campground are dangerous and annoying. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Called before making reservations to confirm all areas were available for the children. There was no WiFi access at our upgraded site. The jumping pillow was not up and they confirmed it worked on the phone. The climbing wall, rope course, zip line, and mine were all closed. When asked why because we were told they would be available she said they didn’t have the staff. No discount given.

The campground was nice but I was put in a spot with no shade when there were multiple open spots around me with plenty of shade. Also, it didn’t seem like it was cleaned from the people who camped in or around that spot before me because there were flies and rubbish everywhere.

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
