Nice but dissapointed the jump pillow was broken. Also surprised that front office couldn’t provide shade for our cabin patio.

1. Too many large trucks going up and down road. 2. No place for kids to play during week 3. Pool was REALLY cold 4. Store needs to be stocked

Great campground with lots to do for families and even adults. Would highly recommend the aerial adventure course - what a blast! It was hard and a fun way to see the campground and get in a workout. We liked exploring the World Labyrinth and the trails. We are looking forward to coming back and exploring more of the surrounding areas. Peacocks are REALLY noisy and start very early in the morning.

Stay was great and so happy the zip line is up and rolling. Slides in the playground are tearing apart. They are an injury waiting to happen. Replacement of 3 sections and all would be good to go again. This has been getting worse over the years and no change or repairs have happened.

Love all the activities. Beautiful spots. My only recommendation is our friends/family were staying in the tent spot Family Camp area 1. It is the place where everyone just walks through to get to the creek. I would create a neutral path that doesn’t run through someone’s campsite. It also needs a better post so it’s clear and maybe a sign.

It was great. Family enjoyed it. The addition of peacocks was an added sight but a bit annoying at times. Cabin was awesome clean, except for strange scratching or gnawing sound underneath the stairs. The staff members were friendly and helpful, the activities they provided was a blast.

We had an awesome stay. We do wish the jumping pad and big foot walk had been happening because most everything else is an additional fee. However, we had a great time at the pool and really loved the ropes course. Overall had a great time with our families!!

Our family had a great time, the staff was nice and our cabin was nicely appointed. A few areas for improvement, we heard loud music from several campsites which wasn’t enforced. Also, sadly, there was old garbage/littering throughout the facility, this makes the campsite seem unkempt and I would strongly suggest walking around each site and trail and collecting old garbage periodically.

We were assigned to a site that was very sloped and we couldn't level out. They reassigned us to another site that was better but still not close to level. The staff was nice and our site was quite large. The peacocks are beautiful but they are very loud.

beautiful. peaceful (even though it was 100% full) bathrooms were clean. we stayed in the Cedar area, was quiet with long term residents, also, peacocks were not as present so was not as loud. My sister stayed at the front of the park and she heard them often.

Amazing I brought my girl friend here for her first outdoor experience and I could be more pleased at the mix of convenience and really being out in a nice outdoor setting the Lodge was INCREDIBLE and everyone was really nice & accommodating, celebrating my girlfriends 25th here was the best experience of our young lives

This was our 4th time here in the last year. Grounds keeping and maintenance are overdue. This was the 2nd time we arrived that the site was not adequately ready. The site had ton of 2-3' weeds and leaves. Light were broken. When we arrived on 2/5/21 there was a large branch in the parking spot. (that branch is is still in the back of the yellow utility truck a/o 5/30). Nice friendly staff!

it was very noisy, there was an RV next to us and he watched TV until 3am loudly, then the generator came on at 6am. we would like our money back.

Too expensive for a spot 3 feet from a busy construction road. 8am to 5 dust, noise, and constant traffic. We actually upgraded from a spot with a patio. We were charged more for camping on the highway basically. Best part about this day was peacocks.

I made the reservation we in advance put in all my information that I have a large RV 36 footer would pop out on both sides did they put me in a spot that I barely fit in it was way off level yeah the only thing that was open the five days that I was there with the swimming pool all the other amenities were closed there was literally nothing to do the Wi-Fi did not work in Alder Horrible

It was awesome!!! We did not want to leave when the time came. Very relaxing, the campground is beautiful and maintained very well, the staff was very nice as well. We will definitely be back with friends.

Very noisy due to the dump trucks going back and forth to dump sand. We asked an employee what they were doing and ,she said she did not know, but it would not be going on over the weekend.

Disappointing that construction crews rolled in at 7am on a Monday morning with heavy equipment trucks and this lasted for hours. I came to the campground to get away from the city, the noise and just relax. So this was thoroughly disappointing and quite frankly ruined the day for us. I would like to ask for a partial refund due to this inconvenience. Paul Alvidrez (805) 267-6706.

We were fortunate to get one of the best spots (B33), but were disappointed in the size and layout of most of the others. Also the noisy semi trucks going by weekdays was bad. Other than that the activities for families and various types of accommodations were nice.

Everything was fun for the most part. I did have a complaint about the gal who checked me in for our 3 night stay on 5/21/21. Thought she could have been a little less rude and a little more polite. I was very surprised at her attitude and how it was not addressed by any other staff members standing right next to her hearing her and how she was speaking to me.

We love Ventura Ranch KOA. It’s always fun, and there is so much to do between the pool, the creek, the playground, the labyrinth. I just wished the big jumping pad was on for the kids, this is our second visit and our kids haven’t had a chance to enjoy it, but like I said, there’s plenty to do.

Was fantastic and people were great. Only the bouncy pillow was not inflated, but otherwise everything else was perfect! Adventure course and zip lines were so much fun with the kids.

Superb campground for families. Everything is very clean and well maintained. They have all sorts of activities for the younger set and several that parents will enjoy as well, Less than 1/2 hr to Ojai which was a delightful side trip. All the campground employees were very friendly. All around a great place!

Excellent place for kids (bring bikes). Perfect for family getaways. We tried one of the cabins this trip. It was just as great. Very clean and neat. Anyone who isn't a camper, but wants a camping style experience should stay here.

I really enjoyed the stay and would definitely go back again. My only complaint is my cabin had numerous earwig bugs and I found a large spider on the wall above my sons head while he was sleeping. I think they should exterminate around and inside the cabin. I will most likely take my own pesticide when I go back.

Everything was good during our weekend stay. The Zipline obstacle course was our favorite activity and we'll come back and do it again. Only hiccup was the ladies bathroom ran out of toilet paper but it was very early in the morning. It was replenished quickly, which we were all grateful for. Well done all staff! It was a great weekend.

Get the Peacocks off the property. They scream “Heyaaaaal” all the time. The sun went down and the quiet that you want was there - aah yes. And then at 10:58 pm just as I was falling asleep “Heyaaaal” 3 times was screamed out next to our RV. Then the next morning at 8:00 am the belly dump material 18 wheelers started rolling in delivering and returning. At least they drove slowly and

The site was quite large, really liked it. Noisy dump trucks going back and forth all day long, annoying. Electric and water only needs sewer at sites. Staff was very professional and friendly. Restrooms, pool area and overall campground very clean. Peacocks were very domestic but a little noisy. Nighttime was very quiet

Staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a great site, level and shady. Bath house is on a small hill. Wish there were steps instead of gravel incline.

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
