Our second day there we were informed the electricity was going to be off all day. Not the campgrounds fault but with 90 degree weather you'd think they would have the pool open. The worst is the Peacocks on the grounds were in heat. They damaged our beautiful car on both sides with scratches. They see their reflection and think it's another bird. Apparently its in small print on the sign in sheet

It was a very good experience for us first timers. The peacocks were pretty amazing. Clean facilities, super friendly staff. We'll be back!

Peacocks were cool at first, then became annoying. Their droppings were everywhere and bigger than what my yorkies make, which are picked up. The price is high considering there is no sewer hookup. Campsites are not level. Patio site was lovely, but upgraded table was covered in broken tiles :(

Camped in our trailer. We really liked the Alder area- nice a quiet. We like that this KOA is centrally located to Ventura Pier and Ojai-both places we love to go. We are coming back in August for a loner stay-see you then!

This was our first time staying there. it did feel like you were living in Jurassic Park with the Peacocks. We will come back.

Paid for deluxe cabin and got stuck in a studio since all deluxe taken but number of messages to talk to manager that never called.. friends in trailer found all 3 showers filthy and no hot water

Perfect getaway! The Deluxe cabin was lovely, comfortable and well appointed. The grounds are spectacular. I loved the labyrinth and the stream. The peacocks were a hoot!. Great family vaca. Loved it. Will definitely be back soon.

We rented three deluxe cabins, one studio cabin and two camping cabins For 19 of us to gather for a march birthdays celebration. We had an excellent time! Even though it was off-season we all had plenty to do for the three days. We will definitely return!

We celebrated my son’s bday. The theme was “camping.” The kids enjoyed exploring, jumping, and riding their bikes. Many people wanted to start making plans to return. The staff was accommodating and helpful. It was pretty much a perfect camping birthday weekend.

The staff was helpful and friendly! The campsites were well designed and maintained. We had a great time and can’t wait to come back! We met some people who were celebrating 30 years of camping together. This was the first place they camped together and wanted to circle back for a final trip!

Our site was nice. Weather was great and the peacocks were fun for the kids. But we came here to celebrate my daughters bday and there were no activities. We have stayed at many Holidays and this one was not good. Saturday was the only day they had some activities and they charged for every one of them. Won’t be staying here again.

The cable was still out from the Thomas fire (over 4 years ago) They state on the website that the peacocks were (wild), which is not accurate as I saw them get fed. O and your peacock wake-up call is between 3:30 am- 5am. No sleeping with those things screaming. The showers were disgusting. Moldy, not cleaned- saw the same hair on the shower wall for 4 days YUCK! the bathrooms any better

Campgrounds are clean and quiet at night. There are a lot of activity for kids. K9 area is small and there is not water for the dogs.

Our Girl Scout troop had an amazing time. There are so many activities here to keep them active and busy and the family-sized tent campgrounds are lovely!

This campground is perfectly manicured by making is look like nature can expand to its best. The place is huge, but arranged in a way that it feels cosy and private. Highly recommendable! Thanks for having us!

The staff at Ventura Ranch are caring and helpful. they give it that personal touch that makes it feel like a home away from home. The new cabins are beautiful and clean and we had a blast on the zip line.

We had a great time! We were nervous upon arrival as we had booked Tee Pees and were unaware they are open toped and there was a possibility of rain. We got lucky but I think that it should be clear for others when booking.

It was a wonderful campground! The staff at check-in was very nice and helpful, recommending a restaurant for us to try. The peacocks were fun to have around - they make great roosters! We didn't experience everything this campground had to offer because we were dealing with car problems, but would highly recommend it. Our site had a few potholes and dips we had to maneuver around.

We came in on a Sunday night and had a gorgeous campsite with a large patio under trees. The surroundings are beautiful. It's a huge campground with lots to do for kids. The campground was clean, extremely quiet and we will be coming back again to visit. There are many areas you can visit while camping in Santa Paula.

The grounds are great and this KOA has lots of opportunities for fun at all ages. The peacocks, while beautiful, can be quite annoying when they call each other starting at 3:20 in the morning. I don't know if they keep skunks or raccoons away, but there's quite a flock now that keep campers from sleeping.

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
