I was in CP4, we had NO HOT water for the entire stay, Aunts were always in the kitchen area and both bath rooms...my grand children had a wonderful time except for the fact that the Hayride was a joke and nothing really happened, the panning for gold was shut down for no reason and they really wanted to do that activity. Other than that I think we enjoyed our stay.

Great as usual. Don't like the fee to pick a specific spot. As a long time client there should be some relief from this.

Beautiful location, difficult to get to with warnings of theft posted nearby that made us a bit uneasy. Fun activities, unfortunately most closed. Amazing staff. Peacocks will eat right out of your hand!

Campground was very well kept. Lots of interesting things on the grounds as well as great views and nature trails.

Stayed twice. Nice campgrounds and view of the dunes. Sites are clean and enough room for the outdoor living space and parking. I really don’t like the mobile home park feel with so many permanent sites. Would be much nicer for the permanent residents to be in a separate area and those that are short stays to enjoy a more camping feel.

All of the amenities were closed during the week and the site next to us had a broken hose so our camper pop outs got sprayed the first two nights and we woke up soaking wet.

We had a wonderful time staying in the teepee! The kids enjoyed the giant inflated jumper and walking around on the nature trail. All in all, it was a great vacation! I did see a few spots for improvement: there was trash along the creek when we walked the nature trail. And it was disappointing to see so much graffiti. Also, there was a bunch of trash at another teepee. Maybe encourage nature ed.

Amazing views and super quiet site. Beautiful here and the facilities are in good repair. Wish there was a dishwashing station i stead of using the RV dump station but the views make up for it all. Level site and friendly staff.

So much fun! Loved the labyrinth particularly, but my kid couldn't get enough of the jumping pillow!

Absolutely loved the events for the kids. We had several groups there and all had a great time. My only feedback is it was our second time doing the mining this year - second time seeing it poorly organized. Also, our cabin (two) didn’t have hot water in the kitchen and the dishwasher did not work. We were also charged for a second time through the zip line. Great to see the store back!

Lots of activities and cabin was modern but ours was infested with ants before we got there and it was the worst in the bedroom. They were crawling on us while we slept. Also, the sheets had been washed but had lots of stains which made us uneasy. Other than that, we really enjoyed.

We had a great stay in the birch section will a pull through site. It had a nice big patio. The zip line course was amazing. The kids always enjoy the jumping pillow. This was our first time in October so the kids were also so excited to get to trick or treat.

Great time and very nice camp ground. You just need to trouble shoot or replace the electrical breaker and/or receptacle as it kept tripping and we weren’t overloading it.

Our Scouts and their families had a fantastic time. All the activities kept them busy and wore them out! We appreciated Stevie, Sharon, and the other staff working with us to get us the details we needed. :)

Great! There are only few issues. Stayed in cabin 13. It has no window coverings in the loft and looks straight into the next cabin. 0 privacy. There were spiders and webs in the exterior windows which freaked out my kiddos. It could be cleaner. The floors made our feet black, which normally - it's a cabin, right? But with COVID, gave us a sense of uncleanliness. No gas grill in this cabin.

Dirty shower/ bathrooms dog poop everywhere camp site not clean had dog poop everywhere had to complain to have someone come clean up all the dog poo 2 out of the 3 day we were staying peacocks poop all over our camp site they were flying up on the table so we could not eat outside. The front desk people were nice.

I organized a group of 10. Working with Stevie (group camping) was awesome. Very attentive to our ever changing needs. Highly recommend camping at Ventura KOA. Very relaxing, quite and peaceful. Look forward to our next trip.

Loved where our little cabin was located except for the big semi trucks coming through. The showers definitely need some improvements.

We enjoyed our stay at Ventura Ranch very much. We had a hook up w/ patio with a great view. Very quiet during our stay as it was mid week so no activities we’re happening. Only issue we had was the showers. No hot water. My husband finally figured it out , but after a cold shower. Probably could use some attention in that area. But definitely would stay here again �.

When we got there when we pulled into the site we were very disappointed we’ve never stayed in a KOA park that was so dirty we spent $99 a night to get a patio and the patio is filthy dirty there was dog poop that had not been picked up it was just not a good stay for us we stayed there before and we absolutely loved it, this time we told ourselves we will never come back

Stevie and the entire staff were amazing. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating to us. We were two families traveling with 6 kids and had the best time. There were plenty of activities to do and our site was perfect to let the kids run around and enjoy nature and just be kids! We will definitely go back again. Such a wonderful experience.

It was perfect: quiet, spacious area, beautiful pool area though water was too cold for me, plenty of places to sit, nice walks, just perfect. And the cabin was so clean. Thank you

Our stay was the best camping experience we have ever had!! The Kampground has something for every age and more. It is AMAZING! And we will definitely be back!!

What a great place with so much to do. We stayed in a cabin which was great. I think we used everything there and enjoyed our three day stay. Couldn’t have asked for better staff. Thanks so much Scott!!

I did not stay at KOA but "commuted" in for the San Dieguito class of 74 event, and took part in all events. It's a very fun environment and I had a blast. I suggest, though, that zipline/rope course participants be informed about the length and challenging nature of the course before participants begin the course.

3 nights there to attend local family function. Quiet with fun things to do. My only negative remark would be that there was a lot of dog poop.

This was the second time we have stayed at Ventura Ranch KOA. The staff are always friendly and the Ranch itself looks amazing. We can tell that they are continuing to improve the grounds and look forward to staying again.

Too many tent campers piled up in front of my duplex cabin. But otherwise a great time. I would choose a different spot next time. Cabin was good!

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
