Our stay was the best camping experience we have ever had!! The Kampground has something for every age and more. It is AMAZING! And we will definitely be back!!

What a great place with so much to do. We stayed in a cabin which was great. I think we used everything there and enjoyed our three day stay. Couldn’t have asked for better staff. Thanks so much Scott!!

Too many tent campers piled up in front of my duplex cabin. But otherwise a great time. I would choose a different spot next time. Cabin was good!

Loved it there. Beautiful relaxed place with lots of stuff for the kiddos! The cabin (#14) was amazing- perfect for what we needed. The fire pit was in a little odd place though. The pool was maybe a bit too cold. The jumping pillow was definitely fantastic! Good for kids and adults alike! The gem panning was super cool activity. Just wish the slides were fixed, the rock wall and tie dye was open.

It was okay the staff does not respond quickly and cleaning not get done good.. over all is okay. The staff is not do their job.

We had a terrific time at Santa Paula KOA. My family stayed in one of the cabins along with my dog for a quick weekend vacay. Only negative was the shower did not drain quickly. It was obviously clogged. Other than that, the kids enjoyed the jumping pillow, bonfires and playground. We didn't spend time at the pool, but will for sure next time. I'd recommend this KOA. Thank you for the memories.

The cabin we stayed in was very quaint and comfortable. I just wish they hosted activities on Sunday though. By the time we could check in on Saturday, the activities were over. Overall, it was a nice stay.

I would say we’d come back. Due to the pandemic we didn’t feel comfortable using the pool area as there was no occupancy limit. The bathrooms were also frequently clogged. Other than that a good time!

We have visited here for the last 5 years in different cabin types, before and after the fire and during covid restrictions the views are beautiful and the cabins are great. I was very disappointed because our cabin had a bug infestation with ants and spiders with webs in each room. Windows, walls and floor were all dirty like it hadn’t cleaned all summer.

Exceeded our expectations. Staff was friendly, welcoming and friendly. We stayed in a glamper and it was so much fun! Clean and well put together. Other campers were quiet at night and followed KOA rules. Activities on site were so much fun!!! We can’t wait to go back.

AMAZING! We went with a group of families and had the BEST time! The zip line people were so wonderful with our group! The cabins were cute and fully functional (with A/C!). The environment is woodsy and beautiful - helped by the sightings of roaming peacocks! We are already signing up to go again next year. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our visit. Our family planned to swim in the pool prior to leaving @ 11 a.m. (check-out time). However, when we got to the pool & showers, both were closed for maintenance. Since we had until 11 a.m. to use the facilities prior to checking out, that resulted in less than 5 stars. The pool could be maintained early or after closing so it doesn't impact guests. Great staff, though!

Overall we had a great time. The tipi village was a ton of fun. The kids loved all the activities offered! Those made the trip so memorable. The bathrooms and showers near the pool need more attention. They were often gross, dirty and smelly from constant use. It would also be helpful if some of the dirt near the tipi was managed. Maybe grass, synthetic grass or mats that can be hosed off.

Site/staff awesome. main reason I went was zipline. Zipline closed for "maintenance" Th, 8.26 i walked around site 4X that day, no maintenance going on. Frustrating - stayed in deluxe cabin 4 nights, only available time (which we weren't told of in advance) was Tuesday @11, simultaneous with another activity I wanted to do. at 11:00 about 4 kids were on zip - that's all - in 4 days. bs

We had a great time snd love the Ventura Ranch KOA. We were in cabin 4. Our only suggestions are that the filter in the master bedroom needs replacing, the kitchen sink didn’t have hot water, and we had to coexist with ants. But hey, we were cabin camping! So it kind of just enhanced the experience. No real complaints, just informational feedback.

Our stay was awesome! It was our first time at Ventura Ranch KOA. We stayed in cabin CR 21 and loved it. I would suggest some repair work to the stairs leading into the cabin as they are loose and may pose a safety issue.

We had a family reunion and it was a lot of fun The grandkids had a blast on the zip line and obstacle course. My only regret is we didn't get to stay long enough to enjoy everything.

Please clean your bathrooms/ showered more often. The one by the pool were absolutely disgusting the entire time we stayed. It smelled so bad you could smell it 20 feet before you entered the restroom. Only 1 activity open daily during the week. 3 activities open on Sat. For the zipline u have to be 70 lb/ 4 ft. Location does not answer phone or emails:( ever.

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
