We enjoyed our 3day stay here in Ventura Ranch Koa. Kids enjoyed the adventure Zipline and rope course. Though there were some activites for the kids that were not available like the jumping pillow and rock climbing during our stay and The only problem we had was the shower on the cabin doesn’t have the hot water Most of the time. Overall, the staff was very nice and approachable.

Very nice campground, especially where we stayed in CR23. I wish the deluxe cabins were closer to the activities, but now I know. Kids had a blast...hopefully next time all activities will be up and running.

We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the deluxe cabin and it was perfect for us! We were a little disappointed that the pool was closed for 1 day due to the filter system shutting down but we made up for it by spending the next day there all day. We will definitely be back and stay with family/friends!

We stayed in cabin 2. The hot water in the shower didn’t work. We figured out that we had to turn on and leave on the hot water from sink if we wanted hot water to shower. The cabinets on the bath and kitchen looked scuffed and not clean. The shower curtain was dirty, when I asked the cleaning crew for a new shower curtain they didn’t have any on hand. The cabin we stayed at was clean. However, the shower dispenser broke on the second day and there was no hot water running the second night. When I notified the front desk about this experience upon check out, I didn't even receive an apology.

Although we loved the cabin layout for our family, it was very disappointing that during our stay we have a strong smell of sewage. ���We usually stay here every year. Not sure if we we'll stay again next year.�

We always enjoy our stay. Loved the zip line and bike track. Restrooms could have been maintained a little more frequently.

Had a great time, but the power went out from 1130 am and did not returned until 6pm. My all of my food had gone to waste. The electric issues should been addressed quicker.

My husband and I had an amazing time in Kevin number 4, It was well stocked clean neat organized and so very inviting we comfortable! Beds were comfortable, people in the store were very friendly and helpful! We had some friends camping in the tent site so we went back-and-forth quite a bit, So many amenities you offer we just didn’t have enough time to do everything thank you very much

It was a lovely weekend. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the guests next door our first night were incredibly loud (nice people, but drunk and obnoxious) but apart from that our stay was very nice. The A/C in our friend’s “deluxe “ cabin didn’t work at all but ours was great.

I wish I knew that the air conditioner had limitations before we made reservations. It was too warm and had real difficulty sleeping because the air conditioner never got the cabin cool enough. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful. A select few didn't seem to enjoy working.

We had fun, the pool, hikes, the views and the cabin were very nice. Our only issues were that we were disappointed that the bouncing pillow was not working and we had to clean the BBQ so it would work properly. We will definitely come back.

Wish there were more activities everyday and not save them for Friday and Saturdays, at least during the kids summer vacation time. Our cabin and outdoor area was very clean. We enjoyed our time! Only negative was that nobody told us upon check-in that the A/C had to be set to 75 for it to actually turn on. We kept putting the temperature down hoping to get some cool air.

Spent 2 grand on cabins cp07 and cp08. Air condition didn't work in cp08(the more expensive cabin) so our cabin had to sleep in cp07 for 2 days because it was 80 plus degrees . Management sent someone a day later and he changed the filter. That's it. It didn't start working till the 3rd day. I hope I can get some kind of credit or this will go above to corporate offices .

Our stay in the Tee Pees was wonderful. We loved the zip line/ropes course! The only improvement I would recommend is to have a closer bathroom to Tee Pee village, even a port-a-potty. It is a long dark walk at night.

The staff was great and friendly. My only complaint is that the water in the kitchen was not hot. To make it hot I had to run the shower at the same time. I notified the staff and they attempted to resolve the problem. That was disappointing since I was looking forward to using the dishwasher on our vacation. I notified staff an second time and no solution was found.

When I opened my fridge and freezer in cabin #3 it had a strong odor of fish. I paid per person and had three children. But only received two pillows and two blankets and two bedding packs. No hand soap. Hair in the shower drain. Our feet were covered black from how filthy the cabin floors were. I had to sweep upon arrival. Pillows were closed but no one let us know things would not all be open!

Missing some essentials paper towels and new scrubber and floors were not mopped the air conditioner was not blowing that cold maybe before guest arrives to have AC on

We were unhappy on Friday when we found out that the road is a public road that runs through the KOA bottom dump trucks running through were very noisy and dusty. Then they stated again on Monday so we left a day early no refund I know they have no control over it but I would ask if they know if there’s construction going on before I book a stay with them

Bathrooms were far away from our Teepee. The ladies bathrooms could have had more oversight regarding emptying the trash cans and paper on the floor. Soap ran out also. Check in way too slow. It seemed that the Zip line crowd delayed check in for others. Staff super friendly, patient and efficient.

We had an amazing stay. We rented a combination of cabins & teepees. Made reservations for zipline activities and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The staff are friendly & accommodating. We look forward to staying there again!

Nice but dissapointed the jump pillow was broken. Also surprised that front office couldn’t provide shade for our cabin patio.

It was great. Family enjoyed it. The addition of peacocks was an added sight but a bit annoying at times. Cabin was awesome clean, except for strange scratching or gnawing sound underneath the stairs. The staff members were friendly and helpful, the activities they provided was a blast.

We had an awesome stay. We do wish the jumping pad and big foot walk had been happening because most everything else is an additional fee. However, we had a great time at the pool and really loved the ropes course. Overall had a great time with our families!!

Our family had a great time, the staff was nice and our cabin was nicely appointed. A few areas for improvement, we heard loud music from several campsites which wasn’t enforced. Also, sadly, there was old garbage/littering throughout the facility, this makes the campsite seem unkempt and I would strongly suggest walking around each site and trail and collecting old garbage periodically.

Amazing I brought my girl friend here for her first outdoor experience and I could be more pleased at the mix of convenience and really being out in a nice outdoor setting the Lodge was INCREDIBLE and everyone was really nice & accommodating, celebrating my girlfriends 25th here was the best experience of our young lives

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
