This campground is perfectly manicured by making is look like nature can expand to its best. The place is huge, but arranged in a way that it feels cosy and private. Highly recommendable! Thanks for having us!

Upon arrival someone had set up in our reserved site, KOA handled it well and got them out. It was a great experience and stay.

It was a wonderful campground! The staff at check-in was very nice and helpful, recommending a restaurant for us to try. The peacocks were fun to have around - they make great roosters! We didn't experience everything this campground had to offer because we were dealing with car problems, but would highly recommend it. Our site had a few potholes and dips we had to maneuver around.

We came in on a Sunday night and had a gorgeous campsite with a large patio under trees. The surroundings are beautiful. It's a huge campground with lots to do for kids. The campground was clean, extremely quiet and we will be coming back again to visit. There are many areas you can visit while camping in Santa Paula.

The grounds are great and this KOA has lots of opportunities for fun at all ages. The peacocks, while beautiful, can be quite annoying when they call each other starting at 3:20 in the morning. I don't know if they keep skunks or raccoons away, but there's quite a flock now that keep campers from sleeping.

We paid a lot so that we could have a pull thru with full hookups and a patio. The patio was covered in dirt & rocks, so we spent a long time sweeping it off. Management saw us doing this, apologized and gave us a 10% discount off our stay. Since we were right next to the office/store/entrance, our site was constantly walked through by other guests. Not a peaceful relaxing stay as we had hope for.

Nice weekend getaway from LA. We have stayed several times and it's always been a nice relaxing weekend. Lots of activities for the kids, and fun listening to the peacocks roaming the campground.

THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY. THE DISSAPOINTING THINGS WERE THE PERMINATE RESIDENCE LIVING IN THEIR RVS. I WOULD THINK HAVING THEM IN THEIR OWN SECTION WOULD BE BETTER THAN HAVING THEM IN THE SECTION WHERE VACATIONERS STAY. THE POOL WAS CLOSED AND THAT WAS DISSAPOINTING.

Our campsite wasn’t clean before we arrived, I was told we had a great “spot” but they forgot to mention the county road that our RV was feet from that everyone speeds down, the dumpsters were overflowing, none of the activities were open besides the jumping pillow and the bathrooms and showers weren’t cleaned one time. We checked in on Tuesday afternoon and left Friday morning.

Upon arrival unable to get into our site. People that were not camping but visiting had their cars n the way. Several tries to back in before the owners of the cars came to move. Patio area is not level or clean, we didn't use it. Fire pit not clean. Spider webs and hair in the shower but showers were warm. Peacocks were awesome and lots of shade . Took a scenic bike ride. Trash bins overflowing.

The wifi did not work, the playground was under repair, the bathrooms were in need of a good scrub and the original site was very inclined. They moved us to a different site in the hopes of better internet, it was still spotty. It was the first time I was unhappy at a KOA.

We had a wonderful stay in the Pines area. Our kids definitely enjoyed all the kid activities that were available to them. My daughter was disappointed she did not make the weight limit for the Adventure Course but hopes by next year she will be able to enjoy it. The campground is very unique to have wild peacocks roaming the campground which we thought was a great experience.

Very nice campsite. We were in Pine 5 with a patio. Very clean and spacious. DarAnn at check-in was very friendly and helpful.

The place looks run down. The playground was boarded up. Lots of weeds, dead animal near play area. Hard to even find someone to ask a question and when you do they are not friendly. Clubhouse showers need attention to them. No activity schedule was given with check in. Pool was green. Definitely not want the pictures make it out to be. I will not be returning.

This is one of my favorite KOA’S great place for kids so much for them to do . Only suggestion is that it would be nice to have patio sites sweep off between visitors. I spent twenty minutes cleaning patio off before we could sit down outside. But it wasn’t a game changer I still love the place. Staff is super friendly .

Too much noise from the cabin after midnight, otherwise I would have given a five star review. I kept waiting for someone to tell them to turn it way down. We were in Pine Campgrounds.

Had a wonderful welcoming stay at the KOA this weekend. The staff was amazing, kind and professional. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. I would highly recommend this for families with kids or just couples. We had a relaxing stay and will be back again!

Very nice location. Zip lines and ropes course was fun but a little pricey. Employees were incredibly helpful and friendly.

It was nice good environment except the swimming pool wasn’t open and we’re unaware we had to pay extra for the zip line and we couldn’t pay on site they said next time make a reservation to get on it ahead of time. All employees were kind and respectful we really appreciated that. Camp hounds were very clean.

We had the BEST time. We prefer sites that feel as though we are in nature and Ventura Ranch KOA nailed it! The place is beautiful, so picturesque. The hills were green and the air was crisp. Plenty of trails to wander through. The peacocks did it for us--we loved them! The store is good for snacks, but not our favorite (no matches). Kindest staff all around. We will return...massive fans.

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
