Spacious sites in the full hook up area - lots for the kids to do and really friendly staff

The park was clean and well managed. It’s slow season so not much going on but it looked like a great time would be had with all the amenities.

No cable, apparently out for a while, would like to have known that before we came. Constant noise from work crews repairing roads until night time. Guess we visited at the wrong time...

It is always amazing! We have stayed there so many times and it is always fantastic!

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay. We bought a new travel trailer and wanted to take it somewhere close to try it out before we took the kiddos with us. Staying at the Santa Paula KOA we wish we would have brought the kiddos because they have so many activities to keep children occupied from sunup to sundown. So, we have already booked another weekend to return.

Lovely setting. Could be a jewel, but suffers from a lack of outdoor maintenance. Sad aura of neglect and decline. If it were well-kept, it would be worth what it costs to stay. As is, it's overpriced.

Poor facilities on site, Luke warm water and low pressure in showers. Pool not open and Wi-Fi very weak. Previous KOA sites we have stayed in California we have given 5 stars because facilities and rates were good. This site was our most expensive with poor facilities. On a plus, the lady on reception was extremely helpful whenever we asked for anything and the peacocks were great to see.

Awesome time. Loved the space Pine 4 and Pine 5 were where we camped as a group. staff was extra friendly and helpful. if only more spaces were full hook up or more dump stations around the area. had to wait to get out of spot because people were dumping

Great activities. Love the peacocks. Wish there were more spaces with sewer. Loved the zip lines.

We host a group camping every MLK weekend in the future may we get a group rate

Fun, lovely staff!!

I had booked a patio spot pull thru with concrete. What I was given was a spot on dirt that I was unable to level it. When I ARRIVED IN WAS TOLD I needed to add more money with no reason for it

First time at this KOA, had a great time, all staff were friendly and helpful!! Thank you!

It need maintenance, sewer and more green areas. Look kind of dirty to me. And just have one dump station for the whole campground it’s very inconvenient

Couldn’t have been better. We will be back. We kind of want to keep it a secret so we can get a spot, but have already referred several families.

As 1st timers we didn’t know what to expect. Everyone was friendly. Check in was easy. The staff was professional I observed them checking the equipment. That made us feel comfortable. We had our granddaughter with us. So overall a good experience. Going back in the spring.

Very nice people in the office

The view from our site was nice. We loved seeing the peacocks every day. Such a highlight! The location was great, as we were able to visit many places. The traffic was fast and loud, especially in the mornings. We were woken up by many trucks driving down the main road at 5:30 am. Would have been nice to have a sewer hookup, but we totally appreciated the honey wagon coming by to empty our tanks.

Tight spaces! Landscape rocks and sharp turns make parking your rig a village affair. Neighbors moved their trucks and helped back several campers into the spaces. Most of the activities were closed or had age limits on them so really not much for the kiddos to do beside the jump pillow. No laundry. Very expensive for water and electric only sites. Not worth the $$. Would not stay here again.

i can say this in one word ( AWESOME )

We had a great time during our stay, the grounds were beautiful and well-kept and the staff were very friendly. The other guests in our area were also so friendly and helpful when we had a couple questions. Will definitely return!

Overall a good experience at B31, which was well kept. Pine and Alder looked better and we'll ask for those sites in the future. A few comments to consider: -The trash dumpster across from B31 was overflowing and smelly. -Birch and the remaining lower campgrounds had the vibe that people we're living long-term in those sites...seemed weird & uncomfortable. -Vehicles go too fast on the camp road

So peaceful and a lovely setting

Enjoyed the stay. Great staff and Campground! Peacocks were a pleasant surprise

The KOA is a great campground to relax or have fun. The staff is very friendly and helpful in accommodating all your needs. The campground is kept very clean and is a cheery place to be next to the creek with peacocks coming to say hello on a regular basis. I would highly recommend staying here anytime of year.

The stay was great, even with the 4" of rain and mud. Staff was out of this world, helpful and informative. The showers at the clubhouse however, did the job, but are in need of upgrades and cleaning. This may be due to the difficulties from the heavy rain, and that is how I will perceive it. The re-build after the fire is great and the Adventure course looks awesome. Look forward to coming back.

No internet access. Huge site with lots of activities. The sites need to have more space.

Rained our whole stay but still had an awesome time. Great ladies at the desk. Very guiet and a lot to do around the area

Overall the property and staff were absolutely outstanding. The one down side to this KOA compared to the others we have stayed at is it seems to be more equipped/suited for people that are in self contained trailers. We have a pop up and rely on using the KOA bathrooms, showers, and wash station for our dishes and they were not up to par compared to others we have stayed at.

Nice campground, great staff. Giving four stars due to extreme shortage of sewer-equipped sites and lack of grassy areas (very muddy)

We enjoyed our stay. The only thing we missed was no laundry facilities since we’ve been on the road traveling for five months. We were in site 1 in Pine which is a pull through close to the office. A speed bump would be helpful as vehicles were driving entirely too fast past the office and subsequently our site across the street. We enjoyed seeing all the peacocks roaming around.

It rained this time while we were there, but we have stayed here multiple times and it is a great place! There are trees, a running creek, small store, a big bounce pillow thing, awesome zipline rope obstacle course, rock maze, Big foots watering hole. Activities for kids! We stay in our 5th wheel, but they have cabins, wagon tents, teepees, and places for tenting. It's a hidden gem! Go!

The campground was fantastic! Bathrooms very clean, sites wide, which was great for this single newbie! I felt secure and the campers near me were true RV people, very friendly and kind. I don't have kids, however, there are many perks for those with kids...a huge pool, playground, rock climbing wall, zip lining and a bounce area.

This campground and its facilities are always clean. The staff is friendly and the area is beautiful!

Couldn't do much with all of the rain but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Will be back when it's warmer

A great park, with lots of fun amenities. Really enjoyed the labyrinth and bouncing bubble. Problem was the condition our site (#26) was in when we arrived with a standing reservation and after 2:00 The fire ring had dog poop, plastic and other garbage in it, and the concrete pad was covered with mud, leaves and other debris. Not cleaned after last occupant. No compensation, just "Sorry bout that"
Dec 24, 2021
Everything was clean. I loved the natural look of everything. Plenty of extras - zip line, bounce, crafts, maze, pool(closed during my stay), etc.
Dec 24, 2021
Mixed bag here. From loud construction work near our pad each day from 8-3 that we were never warned about, having our truck blocked in by the construction vehicles, to peacock poop all over our site each morning. Kids playground area was ok, they enjoyed the gem mining, ropes course and pillow jumper mostly. People at office were nice, but others cruising around were less than personable. Ok stay

We had a great stay. The employees were very helpful and energetic. Our family enjoyed their time here.

I was very disappointed by the condition of the restrooms closest to the main office. The stalls were covered with cobwebs. There was no soap and the toilet papers rolls were just stacked on the rails and tops of the toilets. The middle door lock doesn’t slide far enough to close. The campground was empty (it was a Tuesday morning), so it’s not like a mess was made before I got there.
Dec 22, 2021
The staff could not have been more helpful and friendlier

There are mega reasons I return. It would take me an hour to list the reasons; I reckon it would be the initial moments I open the office door and get greeted by you pleasant staff. They seem to ALWAYS have a smile and it’s contagious….!! That pretty much sets the tone. All the guests are friendly and I now know why, The STAFF! Keep up the OUTSTANDING work. RJ Happy Holidays

Everything was great right up until we had other campers come into our campsite and try to start a fist fight with us. I relayed this information to Scott the manager and he assured me that he'd get back to me but I never heard anything back from him. There was some very aggressive full-time residents there that came to our campsite and wanted a physical altercation. We complain to management

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
