3 nights there to attend local family function. Quiet with fun things to do. My only negative remark would be that there was a lot of dog poop.

This was the second time we have stayed at Ventura Ranch KOA. The staff are always friendly and the Ranch itself looks amazing. We can tell that they are continuing to improve the grounds and look forward to staying again.

I have stayed in a dozen KOA’s over the years! This KOA was by far the finest. In fact, Ventura Ranch KOA is likely the best facility camping I have ever experienced. We had a great time with friends and family in Alder Circle. The staff were very helpful and accommodating when we wanted to stay an extra night.

We loved the large RV sites, the friendly staff and the beautiful surroundings as well as the lovely peacocks. We both wanted to stay longer but we were at the end of our getaway and had to return back home. Great place!

The most beautiful RV park anywhere! Wonderful staff. The surroundings are fantastic - mountains,trees, river, pool and more. You're not in a concrete lined, squeezed into a space, noisy place. So quiet and beautiful. Our favorite park . Can't wait to go again!

Everything is well maintained and clean, All of the staff are energetic, kind and helpful, there's a overwhelming amount of activities to keep the adults and the kids busy...we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to many more camping vacations there...Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to your wonderful campgrounds, all of you should be very proud.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Neighboring campers were all kind and polite. My son enjoyed making new friends, swimming at the pool, riding the BMX bike trail and participating in the gem mining activity. We are looking forward to the next trip! Our only recommendation is that the bathrooms are in dire need of deep cleaning and cleaning maintained after that.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ventura Ranch KOA very much, however we were very disappointed that sewer service at each RV site was not provided, especially when we were charged $89 a night to stay there. In our view, this is a very serious deficiency, that should be corrected as soon as possible. Thank you.

Office staff was very courteous and accommodating in changing my site from an electrical/water site to a full hookup site for my Class A motorhome. Entire campground was beautiful and clean. The trees and shrubs that lined each site was very pleasing and divided each site for privacy. Sites were large enough to setup the outdoor living areas and room for vehicle parking even for a guest car.

Camp sites reasonably well separated into three loops at different elevations. Site amenities such as picnic tables in poor condition and very dirty. Bathrooms not conveniently located; had to climb up a considerable hill to get to them. Bathrooms not well maintained; there was no running water in the sink in the men's room. Doors left open with sand blowing in. Overall, pretty shabby.

I'm glad the store and zipline are open again. The pool hours were limited and it was a bummer it was closed by the time we had setup our camp on Friday because it would have felt really good to jump into! The trash situation on Monday morning was really bad. Dumpsters were overflowing with bags left on the ground around it. The campsite had trash on it when we got there on Friday.

No Covid controls at pool or other activities. Very crowded pool. People playing rap music at the pool with f bombs and n word, and beer / alcohol cans on side of pool so that people could drink while swimming: Supposed to be a family place! Quiet time hours are in the rules, but woken up very early each morning by loud, barking dogs! Promised call back from owner. No call back! Just awful!

Absolutely loved the camp ground. so spacious, clean & so many activities! Just wish the sites were more leveled - but that is part of the camping experience where ever you go!

It’s a beautiful campground. Lots of trees, things to do for the kids and little walks throughout. However, I was a bit confused why I could not have my family stay in a tent with us, yet two other sights I saw got to. There were even more occupants than allowed and their extra vehicles. Not to mention the dogs. Someone had 5 kennels. I highly doubt they had to pay $10 per dog extra a day.

The ladies at the zip line and ropes course were amazing. The course was great. Wish the campground was cleaner. Lots of little trash in our site and around the campground and tons of dog poop. Pool was also super gross by Sunday. Trash and balls of hair everywhere! People speed through here like a race track! It’s ridiculous!!! Super unsafe and just not ok for a campground with lots of kids

A lot of the activities that were there were closed and It was also expensive. The site that I reserved online was not the same I got when we arrived. I recommend for more maintenance in the whole campground so it could look nicer so we can enjoy next visit.

Such a great place to stay! A bit off the beaten path but so much to do for the kids. Our grand kiddos loved the beautiful pool area and the in ground air filled trampoline. The sites are nice with room in between your neighbors

We will be back!!! Beautiful and well taken care of. I wish our site had been a bit more level but we managed and they were very accommodating if you asked for help. Quiet and nice. Be careful not to pull into Steckle Park. �

Quiet and clean. Ventura Ranch KOA is way off the beaten path but worth the drive. The folks are most accomodating and very friendly. We'll be back!

All employees as always so helpful and friendly. The office staff were welcoming and gave us some great recommendations for restaurants for a birthday celebration.

We had a quiet premium site with patio. The bathrooms were close by. They were clean and hot water was available. Just had to play a little with the faucet. Peacocks were fun to watch. It was quite a hike to pool and other activities. We didn’t go. If you have transportation to the lower part of the park with the pool, zip line, etc. it’s a great place, especially for families.

Trash in our campsite upon arriving. Trash in the fire pit and surrounding campsites. People camping across from us were loud after 11pm. People at the pool drinking alcohol in bottles. Not one staff person came down to the pool to see how things were going. Rules at this KOA are not enforced! This was a bad experience!

Great staff and activities, beautiful campground, our site was not even close to level. Too expensive for a small dirt plot.

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
