Love KOA ! This one has to be one of my favorite! Great customer service everyone nice and helpful . Camp grounds clean and gorgeous lots to do with my grandson . We will be back next time cabin �

Camp ground itself is nice and I would love to return but there were no staff to monitor the guests..? our neighbors were smoking and another group campers were loud and partying past midnight.. it wasnt a pleasant camping experience.

I love how friendly and helpful all the staff but the only thing I didn't like is the bathrooms from Hidden Point. This bathroom smells and need lots of fixing. Other than that we love to come back again because my kids love all the activities especially the zip lining adventure. I highly recommended that one, its definitely worth it.

Loved our stay at River Edge 7. Our toddler loved playing at the playground and in the pool. We will definitely be back.

Great place. Great pool Great sites. I've stayed in cabins, had my trailer there and now tent camp after a divorce. A little something for everyone.

Nearly all of the Staff is very kind with the exception of one woman who rang us up while out on a day trip nearby practically screaming that we were supposed to have checked out that day when in fact I had added another night to our stay. Aggressive tone and major bad vibes don’t equate to a good experience. Definitely put a damper on the afternoon (The phone call came at 3pm Sunday August 29th

I only stayed for one night so I didn't experience everything KOA has to offer. My one night stay was really great though! The site was clean and really pretty. The pool was large and fun. It's also really dark at night so the sky and stars stood out so beautifully, I even saw a meteor! Overall, KOA is a great camp site especially for the more inexperienced campers and family fun.

Zip line and the pool were the highlight of the trip besides being in the mountain. And it's kid friendly.

The only thing that needs improvement is the front desk. I realize they're overwhelmed but their procedures aren't consistent. For example if a family arrives with more then 1 car each car should get a parking tag. This wasn't done at the time we checked in. Later in the evening when they were checking the cars is when we were told this was the case, even though we told them at check-in.

This was our 2nd time camping and 1st time at KOA Ventura. Our camping experience at KOA was so much better than at our first camping trip. KOA Ventura has so many opportunities for kids and families that are free or low cost for registered campers. The facility was clean and KOA staff were helpful with all our camping needs. Thank goodness for the camp store.

We had a nice time. However, be aware that some staff have no pulse. I was so excited to arrive, and the woman at the desk didn't greet me/smile/speak. Super awkward. Also, playground slides are broken. Guessing been that way a long time. Fix that stuff, we pay for it. Last, a $25 gem bucket was sold to us, but the water mechanism is DISABLED and stagnant water has worms, so gross and unsafe!

The office staff was excellent and recommended a perfect site. Restrooms and showers were clean and even Max the Peacock came by. Yes, there are peacocks in the campground! Very cool. Great oak trees to hang a hammock too!

We did our first annual mom and kids camping trip. It was a success, we hiked, we swim, we barbecued, and we had wonderful conversations around campfire. The kids run around the campsite which is very safe, wireless mom relaxed in conversation.

Our spots were very shady. More shade at the trailer spots would be appreciated. The bathrooms nearest our tent spots needed to be cleaned more frequently.

Aside from being put in the only campsite with no shade it was a nice stay. People need a heads up when getting that site. I probably would of cancelled my 2nd night if they hadn’t moved me. I saw someone else pull up to that site later and went right back to the office to get a different site.Put up some shade or repurpose that site. Hosts were friendly and it was clean and well kept.

Beautiful surroundings but woefully lacking in bathroom and shower facilities. And they were dirty! I was paying for a Covid surcharge for WHAT! everyone in our very large group who had to use the facilities said the same thing. You need DOUBLE the amount of bathrooms and the remaining ones need updating immediately and CLEANING. Not recommending this place

Every was great, especially for the activities, my sun (8) love it! Like a tent camper I would like to have some dish washer station. Is the only that I missed.

Loved the setting and variety of accommodations but very loud parties at cabins until after 11pm - called office for intervention but only received voicemail. Need to reinforce security and evening surveillance. Pool was dirty at 6pm - hair and toy parts found multiple times - yuck! Peacocks amazing and nice tent spot - we were in hidden pines spot 9.

Great stay! The zipline, pool and activities were wonderful. Scooby, Angel and Carolina do such a wonderful job of hosting guests and ensuring fun and safety for all. Would be and more sensible if large group sites had a dedicated water spigot. This simple fix would earn a 5+++++ star rating from me but as is, it’s still a solid 4+. Thank you for a great stay�

La estadía estuvo.bien , lo q nos gustó es q en una noche se escucharon 7 disparos lo q nos asustó no sabemos si fue en campamento o fuera. de ahi, al.dia siguiente nos reunimos los vecinos y.comentamos lo q había pasado uno de ellos nos dijo q llamo al 911 para reportar lo ocurrido pero nadie vino.

We had a wonderful weekend at Ventura KOA. We were treated with excellence by all the staff, Sharon was kind, and gracious to us with all our group. All the grounds were clean and safe for all of us to use and enjoy. We’ll be back next year again to enjoy Ventura KOA

Came for a few days to relax & didn't want to leave! My parents owned a KOA by Yosemite when I was a kid so KOA's are a special place to me. Nice to know all they have done is get better! Not to mention the ladies who helped me to reserve & then check in were amazing!! Keep up the great work! P.S. Love the Peacocks still roaming freely...

Huge campsite for tent camping. Easy trek to the site once i found it. could have had the pathway cleared a bit more as i didnt see it when i was packing my gear in and was walking through the neighbors site.

We really enjoyed our stay with the exception that the bathrooms weren’t cleaned every day and the garbage seemed to be over flowing in the dumpsters. Bathrooms were cleaned on the third day of our stay. There was also a sewage smell due to the fact that the drainage from the bathroom was clogged. They had maintenance working on it but it made for an unpleasant experience for a couple of days.

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
