I loved this experience. We will be back. I loved the peacocks of course. Such beautiful beings. My son loves the bounce area, the pool, and enjoyed the zip line and the playground. I enjoyed the dying t shirts. The staff was helpful and friendly. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Great experience!!! The employees were helpful and friendly. The bathrooms and showers were clean.

We were so surprised to see so many things not working. The shower near our site barely had a trinkle of water if it was on warm, the pressure was better if it was too hot which was way too hot for children. A sink and toilet were broken in the bathrooms the whole week we were there. There was often no toilet paper or soap in the restrooms. They need to keep things in working order!

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The grounds were less than the typical KOA. Tent sites lacked water spigots and the showers were terrible.

One of the best KOA stays we've had! Great hiking in the area! Friendly staff, good store, not too crowded and very peaceful setting. Lots of things to do, especially kids. Loved It!

We were pleasantly surprised by our campsite in the "Oaks". There was plenty of privacy, shade, and the nearby bathrooms were kept clean and well stocked. We enjoyed our time at the pool, mining for gemstones, and the inflatable pad. The only reason why I deducted a star is because the playground near the inflatable pad was mostly unusable and broken. It was a big bummer for my 2 and 4 year old.

The stay was great. The campground was clean. The kids enjoyed the jumping pillow and swimming pool. I took one star off and gave a 9/10 was a rude sales person chatting it up with her friend/customer about ice cubes being flushed down the toilet in TikTok videos while we waited to pay for our items. She was annoyed and snapped at us when we finally spoke up and asked her to ring up our items.

The campsite was wonderful, but we were disappointed with being unable to use the pool for most of our stay. We especially paid more for this campsite to be able to use the pool.

The Kampground felt clean and safe. We liked the bike path and the creek area. The sites were large and well maintained. The pool was very cloudy and then closed for half our stay. The bounce pad was also closed for half our stay. The slides were boarded up. No mining or rock wall during our stay either.

We had a great time and will likely come again. The bathrooms by the pool were a little sketchy and had a strong methane small surrounding them. That was the only thing that stopped it from being 5 stars.

The check-in process was easy. I was very happy with site OA30. If I were to go back to Ventura Ranch KOA, I would book the site again. The bathrooms were well-kept and stocked for the most part. I gave it a 4 because there were some sites with way too many cars and sometimes the noise can get out of control after quiet time hours. Other than that, I had a pleasant experience.

For the first time our grandchildren experienced camping and they had fun; 7&8 years old. Our grandson was looking forward to the Big Foot walk, our granddaughter was looking forward to the zip-line however, the price was not reasonable. But they did do the mining. The toilet in the women's campground in Oak Meadow stopped up twice. We are looking forward to coming back and staying in a Teepee!

We had a great time! Our tent site 31 was the best site! I highly recommend this one if it’s available. We did gem mining, pool, and zip line course! The only thing we were upset about is the jumping pillow was deflated which nobody gave us notice about. So my 4 year old was upset about that. We also did the walk to Bigfoot watering hole. Really recommend this place

The facilities are great. The problem I had was that our neighbors played nonstop music loudly-all day & late into the night. I did not get to hear nature and enjoy myself while at my campsite. The rangers had them turn their music off @ 10pm, they would turn it back on. Eventually they turned their music off but still talked very loudly, dropping f bombs. My phone had died, I didn't call anyone.

Very expensive and uninspiring. Property is in need of repairs. Other people were loud and disturbing the peace for my wife and I. Overall a lackluster experience.

We really loved the pool, the trail along the creek, the labyrinth, the playground, and our teens will be doing the ropes course this weekend. The toilets were clogged in the group camp site area but when we called, staff came to unclog them. Also, dogs were off leash and were running around the campground. Leash enforcement would be great. Peacocks were beautiful. Fun place.

In general it was very nice place, but we had some issue with our spot. i booked 2 spots but it was detached even tho i called couple days ahead of my arrival to secure 2 spots are attached and got a confirmation too. then found the 2nd spot has no shade at all, KOA didn't allow us 4 tent staying at one spot and forced us to separate 2 tents per site only which is impractical!

I have been here before like six years ago, I loved it so I told my friends to come here, I am so embarrassed to have recommended this place, we had the worst experience ever! First, we got wrong information as to where we could stay, we had set up camp and turns out the office had already booked that place, we got moved to another spot that was super nasty and super dusty. Horrible.

Our stay at KOA Ventura Ranch was ok. Loud music, late-partying neighbors and trash all over our space was disappointing. Some general upkeep (trash pick up, emptying of fire pit ash) would have made our stay more comfortable.

PROS: shade, pool, big space, no wind, minimal bugs. CONS: quiet hours not enforced, bathrooms are disgusting, I had to complain to get them clean, lots of kids. asked for them not to put kids next to me & they did, not only did they wake me at 6am, but kept me up til 11pm. I think KOA needs an adults only section.

The booking says we'd get a gas tent pad, but our site was all dirt. Also, I understand the booking says not all sites have shade, but I am still disappointed that all other sites around us have shade, except ours. There were two showers, but only one was accessible. The other one was locked, which could not be opened with the code given.

Overall good visit. Restrooms were not always clean but still ok. Maybe reppen bouncing pad and movie night. We didn't see the gem mining open when it was posted it would be open.

This was awful! Way too expensive with undisclosed added “COVID surcharges”. The bathrooms were dirty and 1/2 out of order. No movie night, no climbing wall, no jump pillow, no gem mining and the staff was unhelpful and uninvolved. It should and could have been amazing. We will never return.

Appreciated the camp being kid and family friendly. Though unique, the peacocks were rather annoying and noisy. Fairly dusty, but that's the way it is. No fault of staff, but bathrooms were misused and dirty due to irresponsible campers. All said, we'd stay again.

This site is NOT motorcycle or tent friendly. Gravel is dangerous for motorcycles. Site had 0 amenities. 1 shower for ALL those in the area. Bathrooms were rudimentary. OVERPRICED. Shouldve been a 20.00 site. It is designed for RV only and should be advertised as such. Horribly frustrating experience. Had to walk ALL the way to the office because no one would answer the phone.

Overall we enjoyed our experience. The woman who checked us in was friendly and accommodating. I would've rated higher if the restrooms hadn't run out of soap, the grounds were kept up a bit better. There was trash around our campsite that needed picking up. And....the ��omg...beautiful but incredibly annoying at 4:30 a.m. but not sure if it's fair to blame the campground for the wildlife.

Our stay was more than we expected. We were in group #1 and it was perfect. We hadn’t seen eachother in over a yr due to Covid. Our children were able to play, and us adults were able to visit. It was super quiet and private. The camp host, I believe was Mary or Carol ( I’m bad with names) was very helpful, kind and inviting. She helped me on our stay back in October as well and even remembe

A sizeable KOA with friendly staff and lots of amenities. Sadly, many, including the pool, mining center, and more, are seasonal. The large labyrinth is unique and jumping pillow and playground always a hit. Lots of camping options including cabins, hookups, teepees, even covered wagons. Did I mention peacocks who nest in the trees at night, calling to each other? Adventure awaits. Store with ice, firewood, and limited other sundries closes before 7pm. Dump station available.
