Massive Missouri River dam creating Lewis & Clark Lake. Popular for scenic overlooks, fishing, boating, and wildlife viewing. The area also offers walking trails and river access. The Visitor's Center is locaed near Gavins Point Dam with exhibits about the Lewis & Clark Expedition, regional history, river ecology, and panoramic views overlooking the dam and lake.

We are located next door to the NFAA Easton Yankton Archery Center, the world's largest archery facility, offering indoor and outdoor ranges, national and international events, and the NFAA Foundation Archery Museum celebrating the history of archery. Open to the public year-round, the facility welcomes all skill levels and hosts “Try Archery” every Saturday with beginner-friendly instruction and equipment provided.

Educational hatchery and aquarium focused on native fish conservation and the Missouri River ecosystem. Visitors can learn about fish production, regional wildlife, and aquatic habitats while exploring the cool, dimly lit aquarium featuring fish and turtles swimming through 13 large tanks. Open daily April 1 through October 31 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Located approximately 7 miles west of the campground.

Visit the stunning Missouri National Recreational River, one of the few protected stretches of the Missouri River managed by the National Park Service. Located in Yankton, this beautiful riverfront area offers something for everyone, including scenic walking and biking trails, river access, fishing docks, picnic areas, playgrounds, and wide-open spaces to relax and explore. Catch a summer baseball game nearby, enjoy views of the Missouri River, or spend the day outdoors with family and friends. Don't forget to stop by the visitor center and get your official National Park passport stamp while you're here!
