Staff courteous and friendly. Pool was closed. No paved roads so be prepared for lots of dust (or mud if it rains). Proximity to the highway results in lots of traffic noise first thing in the morning. Conveniently located to downtown Yankton, but don’t recommend tent camping here.

I guess that we should have left you in a basic tent site in the back field, instead of giving you a free upgrade that included electric and was closer to the restrooms and showers.

No TV in camping cabin. Husband was disappointed about that. Otherwise stay was good

There is no reason for him to have expected the camping cabins to have a tv. You made that reservation on line where there are several pictures of the cabin's interior for your viewing pleasure. No pictures of a TV though.

The water that flows into the camper smells terrible. I was very appreciative of the clean bathrooms, showers and warm water. The pool is beautiful and clean. Very nice and accommodating staff. Very well kept campground.

The campground was very clean and served our purpose for a cheap night stay. We were a little disappointed that the pool and jump pillow closed at 8.

Our "premium" tent site was terrible. Basically a tiny grass triangle where a spot was created. 2 piles of dog crap that we had to clean up when we got there, a fire ring you couldn't cook on, kids running thru non stop to the playground. Other campers up partying until 2am. Staff definately favors certain campers/friends/family whatever they were.

I had a great motorcycle tent camping experience here in September 2010 when the campground was brand new and over the years it's only gotten better. Honest, fair and helpful.

The staff was helpful and friendly, the campground and accommodations were well-taken care of. We enjoyed our stay will definitely be back!

It’s always a pleasure to stay here! Our family loves the pool and bounce pillow and the bathrooms are always clean. It’s a favorite when we come to the area for archery.

There was severe weather over night and no storm warning was issued. No sure if there is any warning system. We were in the tenting area. We survived. Very clean with pleasant staff. Lots of ants in the tenting area.

The campground was clean and the staff was very friendly. It would’ve been nice to have a porta potty by the tent area so the temperatures don’t have to walk through the RVs camping areas to get to the bathrooms and also it could use a little more lighting.

Very nice area to camp, friendly staff, good/clean facilities. Very useful accommodations. Kids stayed busy & everyone was able to relax and enjoy the weekend.

Pool hours opens late and closes early. Store the same way. Can’t walk to the river because of the archery range.

We checked in late, it was hard to navigate around the camp at night. Lighting was poor around the grounds. Our camp site, number 7, had the largest, sharpest rocks in all the sites, probably the whole area. They could have booked us into a different site as no other tent sites were taken...

Sorry for your experience with us. We gave you the closest tent site to the restrooms. Most of our tenting guests pitch their tents on the grass, but we will see what we can do about the rocks. Had we known we would have moved you. Thank you for staying with us.

Super friendly staff! Very nice tent area away from rest of campground. Could use some more trees for shade though. Will likely come stay again but will bring more firewood since the store ran out. Very busy weekend for camping it felt calm and peaceful where we were.

We loved this KOA! The bathrooms were extremely clean and nice looking. The tent sights were spaced nicely so you did not feel too close to your neighbors. The gift shop was a nice bonus and we grabbed drinks before turning in for the night! Would definitely stay here again!

The entire tent area only has two trees and an open field. By 5:30am, the tent was so hot we couldn’t sleep comfortably. We had to eat meals in the car just to have a small piece of shade. absolutely miserable. No shade at the park. Overpriced wood - 4 pieces for $6. Showers were MOLDY and MILDEWY. disgusting campground.

If your counting trees there are 7 in that tenting area. Your site had one of them. Many of the tent sites have great shade. You came in on a busy weekend with no reservation. We gave you the best we had available at the time. The fire wood is supplied to us with 4-6 pieces in a bundle which we sell for $4. The showers are cleaned everyday so they were not as you described.

The entire campground and bathrooms were very clean and in excellent up keep. No access to water made the hot days a little tougher but to no fault of the KOA, due to the pandemic.

At this time I would give our stay a 4 only because not all of features if the park were open. I do understand this is a result of the current situation. Bathrooms were clean and attended to the entire weekend. Staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

Excellent stay, great campground! Have vacationed in Yankton the last two years and this campground has served us very well both times.

Everything appeared to be well cared for. Clean and manicured grounds and sites. Bathrooms and showers were very clean and in good condition. Hostess was friendly and helpful. Good location close enough to town to easily get supplies but not much noise or light pollution. Free wifi worked well. My only complaint is the dirt roads, every time someone drove by dust would blow everywhere.

The campground was very well manicured and maintained. The staff was friendly. The amenities provided were phenomenal- pool, BBQ, horseshoes, full playground, clean warm showers and restrooms.
