Friendliest staff around! We had been locked out of our cabin and were helped within minutes. Facilities are clean and well maintained!

We paid extra money to stay at the KOA as it has a hot tub (not in use and not notified) this was a huge disappointment as my husband had had multiple back surgeries and is the number one reason we choose your KOA. We travel wirh 6ppl tried getting breakfast Friday morning and they shut it down at 9:10 it’s advertised until 9:30. No ice cream social, no coffee stand. Very disappointed and overp

Spent most of our time in Yellowstone. Next year will stay longer and use amenities at campground. Very nice KOA! Great breakfast.

Fun place and courteous As a tent camper passing through you’ll get a spot adjacent to the entrance and all check in activity so don’t expect a good sleep!! But it works Nice place though

Staff is amazing. Food was well worth it.. and tasty also.The mini golf course is the worst I've ever seen. Needs some artificial grass on cement.

spent every day in the park. JUST LOVED IT. WISH WE HAD MORE TIME.WE MISSED THE GRAND TETON. WOULD HAVE LOVED TO WALK IT.MAYBE NEXT TIME.THANKYOU.

Nice park. Although I would suggest trimming the trees back and upwards down the travel aisles and parking spaces. Tress can damage taller RV’s pretty easily.

Was unaware we couldn’t leave dogs at our RV during the day. That was the whole point we stayed on this side of west yellow stone. People drove way to fast in campground i had to watch my kids really close

I have AT&T for cellular service. The reception here is almost zero. That's not KOA's problem, I know. But, almost zero on wifi made us feel pretty isolated with no connection to the outside world, news, etc. Since there's no cellular service anywhere at Yellowstone national park, we're counting on wifi to work at KOA so we can at least be connected at the end of the day back at camp.

We enjoyed our stay. It would be nice to have more full hookup sites though and the store clerks were rude at times.

I was very impressed by this park. The sweet girl that checked us in was so efficient. The park was extremely clean. The activities available to do there for families are so well organized. We would stay there again when in the area.

Great location, close to Yellowstone West entrance (about 10 minutes away), exceptionally clean bathrooms and showers, friendly staff and good on-site dining options. Sites were smallish (compared to what we are used to in Michigan) but spacious compared to the sites we’ve had at other campgrounds out West. I’d definitely recommend this campground as a base camp for Yellowstone National Park!

The West Gate KOA is a RV park with few amenities that operate fully.

Location was great, cabin was cute and clean, bathrooms were clean and functional, but, the mattresses felt like sleeping on two sheets of cardboard covered by a waterproof tablecloth.

The campground is nice and it looks like a great place for RVs. But for tent camping I don’t recommend unless your good sleeping on a steep hill. It’s a shame because besides that it’s a nice campground.

We had to change our reservation from the original site that I reserved due to camper repairs needed. We were along Highway 20 which was very noisy, and actually quite scary considering trucks and cars were going 70 miles an hour just behind our camper and one wrong turn would be fatal. In addition we had the worst neighbors who were very rude when we asked them to quiet their large dogs.

This park is a 4+ for us. The sites in the back off the highway are quiet, good hookups. They are fairly close together like most RV parks but not annoyingly close. One downer in site 180 was during the day, if we were hanging out in the RV park, the gas powered maintenance carts constantly drove up and down the road, the electric carts were no problem. Next time maybe a site a row or 2 over.

My family and I checked in to our campsite only to learn there was no way to extend our slide, as the two trees on either side were brushing the side of our RV with the slide in. This was very disappointing given we clearly indicated in our reservation we have a slide. We tried calling the front desk and it said it was closed. Very upset given our amazing experiences at other KOAs.

This was our second stay here but this was for only one night. RV spots are nice. Park has many things to do, but on this trip we did not have time to take advantage of them. Restrooms were nice and clean.

Wonderful staff. They were able to recommend a local park where we could exercise our dog. Also, someone left us a love rock on our last day. My son was so very excited.

Staff was very friendly. The facilities are well kept. The food court made it pissible to grab a bite and head out and not having to deal with dinner after returning. Their menu was missing a few things but that's understandable.

We had a wonderful time here! Plenty to do, friendly staff, good food and clean restrooms. The sites allow nice privacy and many have beautiful mountain views. You won't be disappointed.

We stayed here for 3 nights this past week in a deluxe cabin. It was pricey, but its close to Yellowstone's west gate so we didn't mind paying the price. We choose this cabin because it has the kitchen with stove and microwave. The website says bring your own linens(bedding) thankfully I read the other reviews before we left. You also need to bring your own kitchen/towels, bath and pool towels. As well as your own pots and pans to cook with and utensils, plates, cups, etc. The cabin had a TV which is nice. Yes, the bed is just a mat. It wasn't the best thing but tolerable. Keep in mind the cabins do not have air conditioning or a fan. They do offer WiFi which was pretty much non-existent except for in the laundry waiting area and outside of it. You can sit at the yellow tables and it'll work. I was a little worried reading all the negative reviews regarding the manager. Thankfully we didn't have any interactions with him or even seen him. ALL of the staff we did interact with were super friendly. 10/10 on the friendliness of the staff. The grounds are well kept. We had a problem with the refrigerator in the cabin keeping stuff cool and there was a maintenance guy at the front door offering ice even before my husband got back from the front desk. The kids loved the pool. Over all we would stay here again if visiting Yellowstone.

Super cozy atmosphere. Games and play area for children. Security riding around keeping a watch. Short distance from Enterance to Yellowstone National Park. Awesome food, swimming pool and rates!!
