Really crappy customer service. Our cabin was misrepresented on the website. The hosts knew it, even said that they had others "misunderstand" what they were getting. But still the man was completely rude, not understanding at all, and just ticked me off 100 times more than I was when I entered the office to discuss it. You might try de-escalation instead of escalation communication!!

We had a Deluxe cabin for 3 nights. We had a wonderful stay. The only thing I could think of that would have made things a little easier would be if linens were provided even if it required a rental fee. It’s difficult to travel with linens for everyone. :-)

We happened to be staying on the last day before the season ended. They were boarding up and exactly at 11:00am, they knocked on our door and told us that we needed to be out, because they were locking the gate! Not exactly friendly. It was if they were expecting a blizzard any moment!

ALWAYS STAY HERE WHEN WE VISIT YELLOWSTONE. ONE OF THE BEST KOAS WE HAVE FOUND. STAFF VERY HELPFUL TO KEEP US IN THE SAME SITES WHEN WE HAD TO EXTEND OUR STAY. ALWAYS CLEAN AND ACCOMMODATING. OTHER CAMPERS CONSIDERATE AND RESPECT YOUR "SPACE". HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS KOA.

Everything in this places was perfect. It was very clean, costumer services was excellent, All needs are covered with satisfaction and also the people are very kind. This was out first experience with KOA and I really loved it. It was the best choice on our first night in Yellowstone.

Convenience of outdoor kitchen is a plus for tent campers as well as RV campers! Facilities are clean and convenient. Staff is friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay.

We had a great time at West Gate KOA! We stayed 4 nights in late September at site TC, which is very close to the main building (with hot showers, clean restrooms, laundry). Sometimes we even had wifi reception at our site! And fortunately, were able to use the firering (overnight lows usually in the 20s). Only 6 miles from the park. Checking in and out was easy, too. Would return again!

Super friendly staff. Large pull-thru site was easy to park in - plenty of room for 5th wheel and truck. Water pressure was a bit low during our stay, plus it was below freezing overnight, so we ran off the tank/pump. Site was about 2-3" out of level (side to side), so needed some leveling boards. We would stay here again!

The staff members were very helpful and friendly. The campground, showers and laundry facilities were clean. Our only complaint is that the campfire pit on the patio deluxe sites were essentially unusable because of their proximity to hookups, neighbors and our rig… definitely Not worth the additional money. The regular full hookup sites are the way to go.

All in all a nice park. Clean showers and bathrooms. Next time I will request to be placed away from the staff location and in/out for all other campers.

We had a very good five night stay at the West Gate KOA for Yellowstone. We utilized our site as a home base as we explored the National Park. We felt all the sites were a little close, but all in all the grounds, the hook-ups, the roads, the laundry were as we have grown to expect from KOA - top notched. We would definitely consider staying here again if our travels bring us this way.

I read the reviews after booking the park. I was concerned about what I would find. I found a very pleasant staff, a pull thru site that fit our needs and clean showers. All that I really look for in a RV park. The park appears to have been planned before people were driving 40 foot motor homes towing 16 foot trucks! We have a small motor home towing a small jeep and fit nicely!!

Fantastic place to visit Yellowstone. People are nice, amenities were closed due to closure for the season. Would definitely come back during peak season to enjoy the experience and ambiance of this place.

The terraced sites were very nice. Ours was a premium site with swing,patio and nice square picnic table. We used the laundry facilities and they were very nice. The best feature was that we were escorted to our site! We would love to stay again!

Our family enjoyed our stay at your KOA for the second year in a row.We love the little cabins and the facilities.The staff was terrific as usual.This year we added another family to join us ,our son and his wife and our grandson.,total of 13.We traveled early in the morning and explored the park to exhaustion about 12 hours every day and into the early evenings.Beautiful Pictures galore.

We stayed here for 3 nights this past week in a deluxe cabin. It was pricey, but its close to Yellowstone's west gate so we didn't mind paying the price. We choose this cabin because it has the kitchen with stove and microwave. The website says bring your own linens(bedding) thankfully I read the other reviews before we left. You also need to bring your own kitchen/towels, bath and pool towels. As well as your own pots and pans to cook with and utensils, plates, cups, etc. The cabin had a TV which is nice. Yes, the bed is just a mat. It wasn't the best thing but tolerable. Keep in mind the cabins do not have air conditioning or a fan. They do offer WiFi which was pretty much non-existent except for in the laundry waiting area and outside of it. You can sit at the yellow tables and it'll work. I was a little worried reading all the negative reviews regarding the manager. Thankfully we didn't have any interactions with him or even seen him. ALL of the staff we did interact with were super friendly. 10/10 on the friendliness of the staff. The grounds are well kept. We had a problem with the refrigerator in the cabin keeping stuff cool and there was a maintenance guy at the front door offering ice even before my husband got back from the front desk. The kids loved the pool. Over all we would stay here again if visiting Yellowstone.

Super cozy atmosphere. Games and play area for children. Security riding around keeping a watch. Short distance from Enterance to Yellowstone National Park. Awesome food, swimming pool and rates!!
