Disappointed KOA Member. Narrow, small sites. ALL RV'ers placed very close together in one area when there were plenty of empty sites in the park. We spoke to the office regarding their placement system. Awoke at midnight to a trailer pulling in on top of us when many empty spots were available in other area of park. Why place a late arrival there? Bare bones campground. One plus...clean.

We travel with our dogs and the Benson KOA has a wonderful K9 Kamp and the were nice enough to put us close to it.

Friendly staff. We'll lit park with a nice walking area for pets. A little tight getting out for us but we have a 38ft motorhome and tow a car. Most would have no issues. We will be back when in the area.

We stayed here some time ago and since we were traveling through the area again, decided to stay again. Easy access from I-10 and a great pull through campsite.

The campground was almost empty and we called to let them know we would be in late, lots of traffic. Pulled in at midnight exhausted. They put us next to another person, the spaces are tight. No way to hookup without waking the densely packed area of the campground. My neighbors let me know they had already complained to management about this practice.

We wanted to fill the propane tank there since the sign seems to indicate it was available, but the office did not open until 9 and we were ready to leave at 8. The cable tv connection was not working for us. I put up my antana and got 6 stations but not all good ones. The dog park area looks good but I came out with fleas on me, and some family had 4 big dogs walking to the fence in area.

Nice level spaces, clean bathrooms with roomy showers, hot water and good water pressure. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Nice quiet stay- friendly staff. This campground has always been a work in progress- they are presently working in cabins and grounds- only one cabin available to rent at all and right on road coming in- so lits of noise and lights. New bathrooms but there are some construction issues- showers don’t drain well and one shower door is too big to close at all- so down to one girls shower.Progress t

This KOA needs work and I believe they are trying. It is not a park that can accept big rig RVs. Thankfully they had one available spot that could accommodate our 45’ coach with tow vehicle. Staff could not have been more helpful in moving us to that site.They just don’t have the infrastructure needed to succeed.

This was our first camping trip with a 5th wheel. We bought it new and didn't know much about it. Ken was so very helpful and taught us a lot. He was very busy with other campers too, but took time to make sure we had it set up correctly. Over all great experience, mainly because of the staff.

Very nice stay. The managers Larry and Katie were very helpful and friendly. We'd like to give a special thanks to their daughter, Donna, who always had a smile and a constant laugh when she was talking to us. There's a lot of grumpy people in this world. It was a nice change to be around these cheerful people.

When upgrades are done the facility should be an improvement. The restrooms and showers are nice, but why would there only be one shower? The drainage for that single mens shower is incorrect and when the shower is used the water runs through to a floor drain by the sinks at the opposite end of the restroom.

Stayed 3 nights. The owners were super friendly and helpful. They are working to upgrade the look of the park. I’m sure when they complete that it will be much better. Please give them a try.

Very nice people. It would have been nice to know in advance that the pool was torn out. Luckily, the weather was too cool to partake anyway. The remodel looks like it will be great!

Far enough off the highway to be quiet. Very nice personnel. Our lot was very level so we didn't have to unhook the camper for a quick overnight stay.

We stayed at this campground just one night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Campground was clean and site was level and would totally stay there again. They were undergoing renovations and even with that everything still looks great.

Were there for 4 nights to sightsee. The staff was very friendly and helpful. What we didn’t like was the extreme lack of room between sites, a hole in the ground that used to be a pool 3 years ago, and just the general dusty, run-down appearance of the campground. Apparently renovations have been going on for 3 years with new owners… ??

We stayed here over Thanksgiving week, driving from California. We arrived late, but everything was setup. We loved that it is off the road - very quiet! Great signage so even late at night we had no issue finding it. It is clear they are working on changes so it will be interesting to see what they do. We would definitely go back again!

Dessert look campground. Facility with laundry, restrooms and showers. Very clean and friendly staff. Conveniently located close to I 10 west. Walmart, Ace Hardwa 6 minutes away for the campground. Definitely be back here on our way back home
