Great diamond in the ruff. The upgrades and improvements will make this a favorite KOA . The hosts were some of the best we have encountered on our trip. The portions of renovations that are complete are great. Freeway close but quiet enough to sleep, a great plus. Close to area attractions, next trip we will stay longer.

The hosts were great. But nit was more expensive and a disappointment after staying in Tucson. It stinks that you charge $15 to dump your back water! We will not stay there again!

The park is ok. Nothing special, a little dusty. Convenient to the I10 freeway and Denny’s.

The place was quiet and clean. They were out of propane my entire stay. Very tiny spots! I had to move a picnic table to pull into the site. The park itself is a bit rundown, but they have a lot of construction going on, so it could be much better in a year or so. Also surprised without me as I didn't have a sewer hookup, not a big deal, but pay attention to what you reserve.

Good services. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Love the handicapped shower (but I would add a chair or other seat). Nice and clean. Will plan to stay again

Of course the staff is what makes your stay. The staff here is marvelous. Thanks for the stay. Restrooms are very nice.

Staff was super nice. The problems were the goat head thorns EVERYWHERE. The dog park was full of them and park was dirty. Half the machines in the laundry room did not work. The grounds were dirty and full of weeds. The kids playground was dangerous, super close to the main road and full of thorns. People blasting music at night. Honestly worst KOA we've been to.

Let me start by saying the staff was very friendly and my kids loved KoKo! The grounds were awful, no Wifi or cable could be used, the dead grass at the site 32 was full of stickers and the playground needs some TLC. Thankfully we did not spend much time at the site itself. It would have been nice to know that this KOA was under construction and the grounds where in disarray. Totally overpriced

Stayed two nights to restock. I wasn’t able to refill my propane because it was broken and the sewage line was backed up. Not great.

The place was terrible. The dried weeds which were the vegetation in the sites?? had spikey burrs, which stuck to everthing, hurt the dogs' paws. Needs major work to make it a park worth staying at. Not KOA standards. Price too high for sites as they were. Will not stay there again!

KOA Journey is located along I-10 east of Tucson, near Arizona highways 80 and 90. This makes it easy to take day trips around Cochise county to places like Bisbee, Tombstone and Tucson. The property was in the process of renovating while we stayed there; the bathhouse had been completely updated and was kept very clean. The owners were friendly and took wonderful care of their guests.

It should be nice when the remodel is done but all that’s available is the campsite. It was quiet except for 3 barking hounds that the owner didn’t seem to mind they were loud.

The KOA its self is in the process of a renovation and there is not much to do. But we loved it there! The staff are amazing, it's nice and quiet with desert landscaping.. It feels like you are out in the desert yet you are only minutes to the freeway, Safeway and great little restaurants. Benson is a hidden charm! We can't wait to see the KOA after the renovations are finished. Great job!

Very nice people, opened after closing to accommodate me. Wifi didn't work at all for us. Thought the price was a little steep for what was received. Most we have paid on this trip for the least amount of amenities. That said, everything else was fine and worked as expected. Nice folks.

Facility and staff are very nice. However, the goatheads interfere significantly with the ability to utilize the facility. I have two dogs and literally was unwilling to walk them because of the overwhelming amount of goatheads. Even our shoes could not escape dragging them into our motorhome and having them embed in the carpet, only to be discovered by our bare feet. This will impact my decision

Very clean restrooms, shower was hot. Very clean facility. Only complaint would be the lamppost outside my camper, not overly bright, didn't interrupt my sleep but would be nice if they shut off after 10pm or something. When I'm in the Benson area again, will definitely stay here.

I had a great time staying at KOA campground the staff was friendly the restroom was always clean the campers around us were nice and friendly I hope to come again next year the location was good but the road coming in was rough that's all my dad complained about. There was plenty to do around there went to Tombstone and Bisbee the last day camping just laid back. My dad is thinking of joining

The road into the park is dirt and rough the site I was in #21 the water faucet had been leaking so I was connecting in a mud puddle. The park has a lot of stickers in the grass areas so my dog was not happy. It is quite as it is not close to I-10.

Mary Lou has gone beyond the call of duty to get my family set up in a large space with full hookups she is just wonderful as well as her husband 😊

We stayed here over Thanksgiving week, driving from California. We arrived late, but everything was setup. We loved that it is off the road - very quiet! Great signage so even late at night we had no issue finding it. It is clear they are working on changes so it will be interesting to see what they do. We would definitely go back again!

Dessert look campground. Facility with laundry, restrooms and showers. Very clean and friendly staff. Conveniently located close to I 10 west. Walmart, Ace Hardwa 6 minutes away for the campground. Definitely be back here on our way back home
