The glamping tents are AWESOME! Lots to do for the kids, and the staff (even though there weren't very many of them because many of their summer staff had gone back to school) were so attentive. I mean, they delivered firewood to our site and pizza to another! We will be back.

We stayed last night in one of the camping cabins. This is a great KOA. The showers/bathrooms are very nice. The pool was quit comfortable on a hot day. The staff is all spectacular and great to work with. We had the pizza and it was very good as well. If I had to say one negative thing, it would be the dust from the gravel roads, but that is the fault of the patrons driving too fast.

Campground was fine but we were put on a "Buddy" site and were sharing a small strip of grass with our neighbor. If I was on a non buddy site my rating would have been higher, buddy sites have to go.

Very clean. Easy to get big rig into site. Very friendly and helpful staff. Oh yes, the chicken wings and pizza was great.

The campground was less than 2 miles from the interstate which made it easy to get off and back on. It was located about 25 minutes west of Des Moines and the campground was very peaceful and quiet at night. the campground office and staff personnel were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay here again when in this area.

Wonderful place I stay there every time I travel across country. The lack of trash cans I think is the only issue and it makes it difficult to get rid of general trash.

If anyone does read read this I would like to have half of the cost credit it back to me this campground was nothing special flies in the bathroom the cable didn’t work the noise was unbelievable from the road I would never stay here again and I feel that I should be refunded half of my money this is a $35 night site not 62

Lovely area and a well-kept, beautiful KOA. We stayed in one of the very generous-sized RV sites. If I have any complaint at all it is NOT about the KOA but that other guests had no issue cutting across our site to get to the showers, restrooms, cook building, etc. It would be disappointing if we lose the etiquette and respect of not walking through other people's sites.

Nice area with plenty of amenities and pleasant staff. Only bad thing was the mattresses for the bunk beds. They are way too thin and horrible to sleep on.

The campground was nice and clean. Staff was friendly. Our site was very small and close to our neighbors. We had to pull ahead so our slide out would not hit the neighbors camper. For the price we paid, we should be able to have a larger site.

Long drive to campground. Website indicated pizza was available until 8:30, pool until 9 pm. Upon arrival, told the snack shop closed at 7:30 and pool closing at 8. We arrived at 7:45. This affected my family and family ahead of us. When asked about restaurants, the hostess didn't know of any that might be near by. When I complained about the hours I was told she had no control over the website.

Very nice KOA. Plenty of things for kids to enjoy. Swimming pool was very clean. Nice office workers and clean restrooms. It will definitely be a place we will stay again and for more than just 1 night.

We stayed here many years ago & HATED it. Didn't come back until this month. What a difference new owners make! Great campground. Beautiful, clean showers/ bathrooms. Nice sites. I don't care for buddy sites, but we were only there one night. Will stop again.

We had a great time. My grandson loved the playground which was right across from our cabin. It was a great 3 days!! This was our 3rd time staying in a cabin and we'll definitely be back.

We had ac issues with the kabin 2 and we had to use our own fan and koa fan to somewhat make it bearable. I asked the next morning for a refund parical or 1 night free with a working ac and we told no on all 3 points. I do not see myself returning to this koa anytime soon.

only stopped for three nights but no problems and no complaints. Got caught up on laundry and enjoyed the Hunt Brothers Pizza. Noticed a lot of activities for children which was nice - kept them busy and not running wild! some highway noise but did not keep us awake. will stay there again if we are passing through.

Average for a KOA, but VERY DUSTY conditions exacerbated by Staff driving carts way to fast when escorting units to campsites. Dusty is hard to control but driving slowly (5 mph limit) definitely would have helped.

Sweet lil spot to rest a few days that has clean sites, laundry, a dog park, pond, and grassy areas. We ventured to a great local State Park, Starved Rock…phenomenal trails and photo ops!! It's a must see ! The staff is helpful and friendly and the area is beautiful.
