We had nice stay. We were tent camping and my only very small complaint is the bathrooms are a little bit of hike in the middle of the night. Just something to take in to consideration. It was a well kept, quiet camp ground. Definitely would recommend.

We totally enjoyed our stay at your KOA. If I was to recommend anything for improvement, it would be pave your roads through your campground. On a windy day, it is very dusty. Otherwise, nice campgrouind.

The is a clean KOA. Yet, the day we were there the pool was closed for repair and they were unwilling to give discounts or make any amendments despite not be able to provide swimming as advertised. Also the jumping pillow needs replacing, it's losing alot of air and it's hard even for little kids to bounce on.

It was very nice and the staff was very friendly!! It was awesome having the pizza delivery right there on site. The campground was clean and very nice.

Asked to be by family was put on the other side of the camp grounds. The cabin beside my family was empty the entire stay. Teenager at the front didn’t seem to be well trained and argued with the person trying to help.. otherwise clean, lots to do. The jumping pillow was not well inflated. We’ve been coming for eight years now, this was the only stay I’ve had complaints about.

Wow! We loved our time at West Des Moines KOA. The staff was friendly and VERY helpful! The grounds continue to be updated and staff are always busy tidying up and taking care of customers at the site. Everyone we encountered there went above and beyond to make sure we had everything needed. I will be back to this location!

2nd summer I have taken my grandkids here. We all enjoy ourselves. Facility is clean and they have done nice updates.

Our fist assigned spot required a wrench to turn on the water, the second was so close to our Neighbors that we could not let our slide out We did not hook up our sewer because it was underneath our neighbors slide out.

Only negative thing to say is it could use some more shade trees but otherwise the facility itself was great. Clean, inviting, would stay here again. Like that it is close to I-80 but not so close that you see or hear the traffic! That was a big plus to us.

This is a clean, well kept KOA. It is easy to access from I 80, far enough away that it is quiet and peaceful. There are plenty of pull through sites for big rigs/towing. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is plenty of playground equipment for kids and a grassy fenced area for dogs to run. We will stop at this KOA again.

Everything was great except the pool was closed during our stay. The staff did great having other activities available and in air condition to help with the heat and keeping the kids entertained.

Met up with a group of RVers that were caravaning to a rally. Check-in was easy sites were easy to ge in to with a big rig. Amenities were GREAT. Thank-you for a quiet easy stay!

the general store was convenient. The pool was closed during about half our stay, which was inconvenient. and the nature walk was absolutely not a nature walk. The cabin was well cooled and nice, but was in desperate need of repairs to cove base, a broken window and a hole in the bathroom door. overall was nice to get out, thanks!

We arrived late but called ahead to ask for firewood and ice to be delivered to our cabin. Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. My family stayed one night and everything was clean and comfortable. We will stay here again.

KOA used to be out face! It has gone way down hill and the biggest disappointment was the pool not open, as advertised. We had 4 cabins with family from out of state and were looking forward to a nice stay where the kids could swim all day on such a hot day. A notification that it was closed would have been nice, so we had time to cancel. No discount offered, just a free bag of $1 water balloons.

The main reason we chose to camp at this KOA was for the pool. The kids from three families in our group were very disappointed the pool was closed the entire three days we were there. It was an exceptionally HOT weekend! The day after we checked out, we received an email welcoming us back to the pool as it was now open. Talk about adding salt to the wound!

Sweet lil spot to rest a few days that has clean sites, laundry, a dog park, pond, and grassy areas. We ventured to a great local State Park, Starved Rock…phenomenal trails and photo ops!! It's a must see ! The staff is helpful and friendly and the area is beautiful.
