Was checked in to a nice spot with a concrete patio and told to follow the cart. I gave the guy the number, but he started to direct me a different site. When I asked if it was the correct site, he gave a sarcastic response. The following day when we were getting ready to; the guy comes by and cuts the lawn kicking up a bunch of dirt. He could have waited. Nice place but could be courteous.

Family bathrooms were very nice and clean. Pool was cold and there were a lot of bugs, leaves, and debris floating in it. That should be kept cleaner. Staff were very nice and grounds were kept clean.

We used this campground as a quick overnight stop, but it was an incredible campground. All the facilities were very updated and clean, the staff very friendly and helpful and it was easily accessible. If we have a reason to go through Des Moines again, I would definitely stay at this campground- and perhaps a few nights just to enjoy all the amenities.

We had a great time. On the weekends they have activities starting on Friday night and all day on Saturday. The playground is so nice and the kids really enjoy the other jump shot and water wars equipment. The pool is great, but for the Saturday crowd a bit small. So just did activities on Sat. Thanks for a great time!!!!

New RV owners, first time at KOA. Best experience! Had four grandkids on tow. We could have just brought them there. The rest of the trip was apparently not as memorable. Ha! We had a great experience. Thank you!

Staff and manager were awesome. Disappointed in the amenities from our past visits. No pillow bouncey (the bouncey house helped however), no dunk tank, charge for paddle boats are examples. We always take grandkids couple times a year but considering looking for another option for next year.

Super clean, lots for the kids to do - and activities on weekends. Will be nice when the jumping pillow is up and running. The jump shot trampoline is very cool.

The staff was fantastic. However, that doesn't make up for the very tight sites. We could barely walk around the trailer we were in there so tight. If you are camping with people you know and don't mind the tight spaces and don't mind a very busy campground, then you'll be fine. This is not not the right campground for us and won't be returning.

This was our 3rd time to stay here. Everything was positive except this last time the site was very uneven and narrow.

We were very disappointed in the "new" rules being enforced regarding number of people at a site and the charge for guests. Three granddaughters and their parents were going to join us for hot dogs and smores, but we had to change our plans. We most likely will be finding another place to camp.

Super hot during our 3 day stay so the pool was welcomed relief! Impressive campground…very well maintained, beautiful plants and flowers and a well stocked store including yummy hard-pack ice cream! Friendly staff, LARGE sites, and CLEAN bathrooms will have us coming back again! (40’ Class A)

Site was unlevel left to right and front to back. Took hour to get level and therefore couldn’t swim and relax.

Our space was amazing with no complaints. Finally they positioned the spaces for afternoon shade! Kamp K9 was very spacious, grassy with shade. Overall the park was great and we would return. To give a couple of suggestions, resurface the roads to reduce the dirt from flying up and slow the escort carts down for the same reason.

Except for one issue everything was perfect. The staff was someplace between awesome and awesome +++. Our site was very, very, close to the site to our left. Not a big deal since we both there for one nite. Please know that all sites are not like this as I noticed many other campers with a lot more space between their sites. I rate the park a 4 1/2 out of 5.

Great stay! Roomy campsites, clean and very nice shower facilities. Large pool with plenty of seating. They made pizza on site a nice addition when arriving late. Well stocked store, everyone very helpful and friendly. If you have children, they have a lot of fun things for the kids. Great KOA!

Marked difference staying here on weekends verse during the week staff overwhelmed One nighters get back sites very poor sites and very unlevel Do appreciate being able to order food and it being delivered to site

Sweet lil spot to rest a few days that has clean sites, laundry, a dog park, pond, and grassy areas. We ventured to a great local State Park, Starved Rock…phenomenal trails and photo ops!! It's a must see ! The staff is helpful and friendly and the area is beautiful.
