The facilities are amazing - clean & updated! Several amenities to keep everyone entertained. And the pool was very nice. All of the sites were very nice too! The only downside is that it's all a big, flat parking lot. Bushes and shrubs would make a HUGE difference! We loved everything about the place except for that one aspect.

Staff was friendly. The office was chaotic with it's new arrangement. People trying to get to sign up sheets, the kitchen, check in,etc. The activities were fun, but there were less than there used to be, which isn't bad. The activities were chaotic and they struggled to close one and get ready for the next. Never enough staff at them either as they are trying to help and deal with new people

This is a great park if you're looking for a destination stay and you have kids. It appears that the functions are very family oriented. Having said that, our one night stay was adequate. We were put into the newer part of the park in a spot that was built up with asphalt to make it level (about a foot or more). Made the exit from the spot very tricky as coach tail end nearly drug. Yikes!

The hospitality was awesome , the entertainment for the children was top notch and the resort was being maintained to a 1st Class level.

We stayed during the "off season" in September. I don't looke for "mytle beach in the woods" in an RV park. I want quiet and simple. We had two sites and premium and regular. The premium was nice but the waste pipe was about 6-8" off the ground which meant that nothing flowed right. There were several sites like this. My second site worked fine. The staff was super nice. WiFi was great.

The campground was great for a one night stay while traveling through. We didn't have reservations and arrived after hours so we appreciated the information for available sites. My only suggestion would to have a more secure box for walk in information envelope which contains either cash or credit card number.

For $72 our campsite was tight, impinging on our neighbors. Site was also not very level. Hosts did a good job opting us out of Trick or Treat. Thank you.

Always a great stay. We have stayed here many times on our way to the west. The only comment that I have is that you do not give out a channel listing anymore and this would be most helpful to know what the cable channels are.

Great location (not on the freeway) with well laid out sites. Store has a very large selection of items for your convenience. The apparent separate section for seasonal is an Excellent idea allowing transient customers a chance at the better sites.

Wonderful hosts and top notch facilities. Had the extras like iron and ironing board in the spotless laundry. Hair dryer in the shower room. If there was something you’d left at home they most likely had it for you.

Getting into and out of the campground was easy. Campground was well maintained and clean. Only bad problem was the retaining pond in the back of the campground which smelled.

Very clean park and well enforced “Quiet Time” from 2200 to 0700. Very family oriented campground. Friendly staff & their homemade pizzas smelled GREAT! Would recommend this park if ur close to Des Moines, Iowa. Good job, well done!

Nice enough campground. Did not allow me to use my rewards on a single night stay. Never has this been an issue at other KOAs. Store closed super early so unable to purchase firewood to use on our deluxe site. If you have a campground in the middle of nowhere it would be nice if your store stayed open till at least 7pm.

Wonderful time, lovely campground, quiet. Beautiful nature surrounding. Very impressed with clean bathroom and showers. Owners are sweet and kind. Perfect spot near to Mount Rushmore and other attractions. We highly recommend it

This is a very nice, family oriented club. Owners need to consider enforcing slow speeds in the park, including when park employees are leading RV's to sites. There appears to be little effort for enforcement of slow speeds. Yes, you might offend some RV'ers that speed, but imagine your risk and cost if a kid is hit. My less than max scores for this park are because of this deficiency.

Wonderful campground. Bathrooms were “10”. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We camp in a dark colored class B and I requested a change to one of the few treed sites. No problem!

We were parked in a “buddy spot”. We could just put out our awning. It really was 2 people parked in a spot big enough for 1 rig. Luckily our buddy was a very nice person. I think we should have been charged less money for such limited space. It did seem there were plenty of things for kids to do. I would not return or be sure I did not get assigned a buddy spot.

Sweet lil spot to rest a few days that has clean sites, laundry, a dog park, pond, and grassy areas. We ventured to a great local State Park, Starved Rock…phenomenal trails and photo ops!! It's a must see ! The staff is helpful and friendly and the area is beautiful.
