The staff was the best part. For tent camping, this place is very over priced. I got a small dirt plot that was filled with goat heads (thorns) despite there being no plants near by. The lights from the building stay on all night and there’s no semblance of nature in the camp ground. The bathrooms and showers were nice, but didn’t make it worth the 40 -some dollars.

Stayed for one night, checked in in the morning. Very crowded campsite with little privacy if it were busy. Lucky for us it was not camping season yet and did not feel like we were camping with our neighbors.

Very helpful staff and Jane at front desk is awesome! Made the perfect hot chocolate and provided very helpful information about Grand Canyon entrance. Highly recommend this campground. Clean and well maintained.

Our tent site was clean. Just wish there was a closer bathroom to our tent site.

We had the best time! Loved the gem mining station. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Friendly staff. We'll be back!

Clean, organized, pool and hot tub were exceptionally well kept. Convenient and easy to work with (change/add dates, etc)

We stayed for 2 days while enjoying the local town and the Grand Canyon. Location was excellent. My only suggestion is to move the tents to the other side, away from the noisy highway. The RVs wouldn't hear the traffic and it would be better for all to enjoy a good night's sleep.

Great location. Great crew. Shortest store hours ever. The toilets in the bathrooms are always having problems (the ones close to the store). The tents sites with electric and water are the furthest from the bathrooms. And last. I am still looking for the gravel on the tent site as advertised

Beautiful location, friendly service, clean facilities. Our only complaint is we wish the office/store had better hours, it was only open 9am-5pm. I wanted to enjoy the coffee bar but by 9am we were already gone to enjoy our day.

There were lots of activities for kids: swimming pool, movies, train, horseshoes, cornhole, etc. The facilities were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Downsides: lots of burr-type stickers and low-water-use toilets/sinks/showers.

The pool area was amazingly clean. The water was, crisp, clear, extremely well maintained. I can't wait to come back, it was such an amazing 4 day stay.

The staff was helpful when I made the request to be close to my friend's site. Since I didn't know I booked the wrong site, the staff even took an extra step in searching at the nearby KOA and try to find a site for us to be close by.

Great family friendly and clean KOA. We stayed at a tent camp site and it was great for our family only thing we needed was a water tap a little closer to our site to make cooking and cleaning a bit easier. Beautiful location!

Please make it clear on your website for tent campers that not all sites have electricity and that the ones that do are much more expensive. I had to have electricity during my stay for some work I was doing. Once I arrived I learned that I needed to pay more and upgrade to make this possible. There's no excuse for not making this clear at the online reservation process.

Enjoyed our stay, tent site was great. Staff was polite and their store had a lot to offer. Under an hour from Grand Canyon, would stay here again.

The restrooms were decently clean and the campground itself was very clean. However, the time that the main KOA store was open was very inconvenient. They only operate from 9 am - 5 pm which makes it almost impossible to catch them when you’re planning to go visit things during the day.

It felt like the tent sites were an after thought. They were tight and not well maintained. The office hours were too short (9-4) and so the only person we saw was the overnight guy...who was nice. I had phone messages regarding payment due to them changing their processing and ended up having to write my credit card info on a piece of paper which they could not seem to locate.

So, my husband and I were on a 35 day road trip and let me tell you that KOA’s saved us from having to sleep in our car or get a hotel room. Most of the camp sites we tried camping at were FF and since we didn’t know what time we would be getting there it was hard for us to find a campground. The KOA website made it super easy to reserve but call and check availability.

My kids and I had a great visit and they loved the pool and other amenities and activities. The staff was wonderful and kind and made it a home away from. Will definitely be back!

Overall, the stay was good. We were blessed by the family camping next to us. They were very nice. There was a sign about saving water and then the showers did not shut off completely so I suggest you replace the gaskets in the showers to allow them to shut off completely and preserve water as you suggest to the guests.

Not enough restrooms for the amount of spaces/people. There were very long waiting times for the showers. There were issues with the toilets both nights that I was there and no way (at least not that I was informed of at check-in) to contact anyone after hours.

All Bathroom/showers were always busy or out of order. Laundry room, also had issues with the washers. Pool, cafe were closed. No propane grills, couldn’t cook. Customer service was extremely slow.

It was a great stay. The staff was very friendly and helped us out. The only problems was the toilets and I am not sure there is much they could do. The water is shut off at night to the toilets to conserve water.

Great location and friendly staff. My only complaint would be the pool as it was cloudy, not very clean and way to hot, it was like swimming in soup.

The facilities were clean and well maintained. Like others have said, the toilets can be “rugged”. To be fair, because of the environment, these are low-flow, water conserving toilets. If the user doesn’t take care that everything goes down, the next guest gets a surprise. As a tent camper, it’s hard to sleep because of constant noise from the highway. Does campground we stayed in about 40 years ago we didn't camp here this year because we own Wyndham timeshare but anyone that's camping this is a good hangout.
