The camp ground was very clean. There should be some more space in between the campers. And at times during the night people where loud when we’re trying to sleep.

Always a great time when we stay! Only thing I would not recommend to other campers is not to stay at site 216A.. it is too small for an RV and not level. Other than that, the stay was great!

Love the owner and everything there. Very friendly and geared towards families. We have been coming here for 2 years now and look forward to many more to come!

We had a blast!!! Everyone was very nice and fun. We just got our camper a few weeks ago and cant wait to head back up to Hayward to visit again and hopefully drag some friends along for the fun!!!!!

Wish there were more food options or a real coffee shop on site. Otherwise, our stay was perfect, even though we had mice in our cabin- the traps caught two while we were there. Would definitely come back.

Clean bathrooms. Nice pool. Didn’t get to use the 300’ slide due to rain, just as well as cost is $10 for the day. The jump pad is the only KOA we have ever been too that charged to use it. Ice cream was good.

Great owners; lots to do for the entire family. Only complaints was all the dust as we were by the entrance and the small site sizes.

We arrived at the Hayward KOA on July 6th to tent camp. The weather was cool and rainy and we asked about upgrading to a cabin. The staff was very accommodating and we had a great night staying warm and dry in a camping cabin. Would definitely return and recommend.

Staff is friendly, plenty of activities to make sure everyone has something to do. Amazing clean considering the amount of people there for the holiday weekend.

Would like to see the walking paths closed to bicycles and scooter boards. Several times my family members and I had to jump out of the ways of people traveling thru the narrow walking paths on wheeled vehicles.

The sites in the back towards the woods we’re nice spots, I’m glad we chose that area, we liked being “away” more so and it was a good time! Fun activities!

Overall Good. Fun activities for the kids. A bit disapointed on Monday when we checked out we asked if we could leave the camper there all packed up and put away while we went into town. They told us it would be a $10 charge. We just paid to stay 3 nights, the campground was empty, and we wanted to support local businesses. I could understand if it were busy but this seemed silly.

Everything was good. Wasn't thrilled about extra cost of water slide, minigolf, and jumping pillow. Shouldn't have to buy a wristband everyday. Mini golf needs some work/update. Hard working cleaning crews! Ice cream shop closed at 300 pm which I thought was weird ��

The campground is very well established with plenty of shade and trees. Roads are a little narrow to get large RVs through, but manageable. Amenities are all very clean, and if you have a family, there are plenty of activities. Water park looks awesome, however we did not use it.

This is an awesome place for families with kids but not a great match for me. I left after one night. I wanted a quiet peaceful weekend and it was just too busy and loud for me. Excellent for kids. Great playground and activities. Pet friendly. But not the best match if you want the quiet woods experience. Staff was great.

Stay was great! Campground was clean. Only bummer was that things were closed kind of early when were there - ice cream shop. And, the mini golf is pretty basic, would be nice for some additional variety on the holes and they had tree debris all over the greens. Other than that, pool, water slide, campsite was great. Thanks!

Facilities are always phenomenal. Nice little cafe where you can purchase pizzas, ice cream and breakfast. Excellent K9 park. And they are really good about keeping the rowdy people quiet during the night. Super friendly people.

It was a very pleasant experience. We have stayed there over the 4th for the past 6 years now and we love it. You run a very great place and we will be back next year.

Our deluxe cabin had a smell of wet dog. We do understand it was the AC unit. The workers had tried to remedy the smell which would work for a little bit. But the smell would return. I think the units need to be taken apart and fully cleaned. New filters do not work. Nor should they be sprayed and put back in without being fully dried out first. Otherwise the rest of the stay was great!

We loved the Hayward KOA! We stayed 7/2/21-7/5/21 in a 30amp full hook up. The site was a nice size, the staff were friendly, the pool playground and all facilities were in excellent condition! There was a couple working, I didn’t get their names, a Hispanic looking couple who kept the restrooms in SPOTLESS condition. We a million percent will be coming back!

We always stay with KOA and are never disappointed. The ground/buildings were clean. Plenty to do for the kids. Had a deluxe tent site for 5 nights and never felt crowded and quiet every night. The other perk we noticed-lack of bugs. I'm not sure they sprayed but in my experience camping-there are always at least mosquitoes and we noticed none. It rained once-saw a few but that was it.

There was a mix up and the tipi I was told was reserved for us was given to another family. It was important as our friends were camping right next to tipi 2, which is why we thought we booked that one. Allen at the front was very helpful and fixed the mixup.

All was fantastic accept the location of our tent site in comparison to bathroom/shower location. It was exhausting to haul little ones across the map to use the facility... Other than bathroom/shower inconvenience, we had a great experience! Clean and tiddy ran � grounds!

Enjoyed our site #35 in the pines and not having campers right next to us - benefits of low season camping. Unique use of flowers w/canoes was very nice/welcoming. Highway noise was a lot lower than other KOA's we've stayed at which was a big plus. Definitely would stay at this KOA again in the fall. Thanks!
