Traveling west on my motorcycle and stopped for the night. Super friendly folks! I arrived in the rain and set up tent in light rain which isn’t fun but friendly folks, a place to get food made it great! Really enjoyed breakfast as well. Next morning was beautiful. I look forward to going back again.

It was very relaxing tent camping in the woods at this camp site. My kids absolutely loved the playground equipment especially the pirate ship, that was a big hit, and we enjoyed how close it is to Duluth as well love going to Duluth!!!

The staff was awesome! Everything was very clean and organized. Only wish there was more room between sites.

Don’t like the new owners, employee said to us in front of our children that people were having sex in our campsite last night before we got there.

Campground was clean but people were inconsiderate of quiet times. The site next to ours ran an extension cord to our camp site's power that i paid for while they only had a basic site. Campground was nice, campers were not.

Great location and camping site. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Didn’t like how everything was extra cost for the kids activities (jumping pillow, slides, mini golf, etc).

Very fun, lots of stuff for families with kids. Very clean, too. Bathrooms were immaculate considering all the campers were there! Loved our time there!

Perfect for families,kids and dogs.A later night adults only swimming times would be nice. Friendly and courteous staff. Facilities clean and maintained.Lots of places to sit/relax.Pretty landscaping. Well patrolled. A more secluded tents only area would be nice. Booking convenient. Lots about Town of Hayward enjoyable too. Day trip to Madeleine Island a plus. our 1st time at KOA in 30 years.Th

Friendly staff, good store hours, clean restrooms/showers. Tent site was clean and easy to get in/out of. Lots of kids around so it was super imperative to be careful when driving around the site, and campers next to us were loud past midnight, though that's not the KOA's fault (I wish there was a "late night number" to report serious issues of "quiet hours" violations).

The staff is absolutely amazing - they are so kind. Facilities are kept clean and it’s just always such a fun vacation! This was our 5th year back and we will be back again!

What a great place to take kids. There are so many fun things for them to do. My daughters also met so many other kids their age which means less parent entertaining that is required. No complaints what so ever

We have been coming to Hayward KOA since our kids were very young, and even as they are entering adulthood they enthusiastically look forward to a return visit every year or two. We were blessed by perfect weather but the environment was filled with activity and fun.

We were in a tent site with electricity. We all enjoyed ourselves, plenty to do to keep the kids busy. The public cooking station/ pavilion was very helpful and convenient when your tenting especially when it rains. The extra fees for things in unnecessary and kind of expensive if your a family of 6. I think we would have did more if it was more affordable for families. Lots of staff, clean spa

Very clean! Nice campground. Only gripe we have is I think we were expected to be silent at 11? At 11:15p on Friday, we were scolded for being too loud, and it was just 3 of us playing yahtzee. Then on Saturday night, we helped out our new neighbors by letting them charge their kids ipads, which apparently is a no no, so we got scolded for that too. Campground was a little too strict for us.

You can really tell that the people who run this park care. Everything was well maintained and extremely clean. Once quiet hours start the camp is indeed quiet and nice for sleeping. The only downside, and I cannot blame the campground, is that there is a relatively busy road near by and traffic noise could cause light sleepers to have issues.

Excellent stay. Wonderful place to make family memories. Staff was very attentive to details. Already making plans for next year! The only thing I wished was that I would have had a phone number for night time security. The teenagers at the tent site next to us kept us awake almost all night on Saturday night. Otherwise everyone else was amazingly respectful of quiet hours.

Besides the storm we had Friday night it was an excellent weekend. My kids had a great time in the pool and my girl and I had a wonderful time relaxing.

We have an annual campout at Hayward KOA with our grandkids. The pool is always a hit, and they love the activities. They're getting big enough now, we hope to try out the river rafting.

Exceptional KOA! The staff are a 10 with customer service, the campground is well maintained and so many activities for kids. This is a 5 Star KOA!

We stayed in a tent site and the camp kitchen lights were super bright in our tent. Sleep would have been a lot better if the lights were turned off at night. I was unclear how to park our vehicle near our small tent site. All staff we interacted with were very nice and accommodating. Everbody has a campfire at night to the entire campground is full of smoke from 8 PM on. Air was clear by morning.

We were in campsite 138. The people in 137 and 136 were talking loudly and obnoxiously at 510AM and were out of control by 6AM. A terrible stay and security never did anything even though you could hear them all around the grounds.

Enjoyed our site #35 in the pines and not having campers right next to us - benefits of low season camping. Unique use of flowers w/canoes was very nice/welcoming. Highway noise was a lot lower than other KOA's we've stayed at which was a big plus. Definitely would stay at this KOA again in the fall. Thanks!
