Nice campground but cramped sites, even premium patio pull through and very dusty from roads. Rows spaced to close together.

We really enjoyed our stay. The heated pool was the best ever. Lots of things to do. We had a blast.

Loved the pool and pillow area, clean hot showers and bathrooms. Wish there were more activities for Friday night and Sunday (whole weekend).

When we arrived it was poring rain. We got set up and we’re noticing the lake around our camper getting bigger. We weren’t concerned. The camp owner came and asked how we were doing. Told us if the water didn’t go down he’d help us move to another site. Very kind man.

Campground was clean and well maintained. I thought the firewood was a little too green. I would definitely stay there again.

very clean campground with plenty for families to do while staying. Our campsite, although close in proximity to the next, was a full set up and a patio. Other campers were respectful of the quiet hours.

Clean bathrooms and showers, wifi works great, plenty of things for kids to do. Campsites are pretty tight, 10-12' between each fire ring.

We love it, we usually go every year. This year we happened to get locked out of our cabin on accident at midnight (wish there were an emergency number posted outside of every cabin) but we walked across the site and found the owners who got us back in quickly. The guy working the store didn’t wanna let us mini golf with 30 minutes left, I explained they’re kids, we won’t be long & he let us

The patio site is great and we are close to the ATV trails. Forgot a couple of things which the store had, very convenient.

Amazing place. If you have Kid's or Grandkid's this is the KOA for you. They have so much for kid's to do they will not be bored that's for sure. Very nice pool area for kid's and adult's. The water slide is fun even for 60 plus year olds. The town of Haywood is just a few minutes down the road with great shopping and very nice drive to Bayfield WI. All in all lot's of fun for the family.

Stay was wonderful like it always is my only complaint from this time was the people in one of the cabins had a dog and it barked at EVERYTHING CONSTANTLY

This was our second stay, last year we left a day early because our tepee's got wet and cold inside, unfortunately this year we again had to leave a day early as my daughter was hurt during our stay. The time we did get to utilize the campsite was wonderful, we enjoyed every minute of it. It was clean and everyone was polite. the atmosphere was relaxing. i would recommend this to all my friends.

I have been RV'n for years across the US, this was the 1st time I found the sanitary waste station complete with a sanitary hose! This completed my stay at KOA of Hayward. I did not have full hook-ups at my site, therefore I did not have to remove my sanitary hose from my RV when I drove to the waste site. Great Idea!!!

Very clean, well cared for, stocked campground. So much to do without leaving the campground! Staff was great, the manager/owner seemed like a great guy to work for!

Our stay was great, the only thing we did not like was the amount of times we were asked to show our wrist bands. I understand outside public comes in but there has to be a better way so the campers don't continue to feel pressured to have these bands on. My kids are sensory, developmentally delayed and will not keep bands on, its not that we didn't want them to. Some have difficulty with them.

My first ever camping trip with a travel trailer. Nice pull thru sites with full hookups is what I needed. Plenty of activities for kids. The main building surprisingly has a lot of items for sale from grill able food to RV needs.

Pros: LOTS of activities! Kids had a great time using the pool, waterslide and jump pillow. We didn't have time for mini golf, but was nice too. Movie in the field after dark, playground was very nice. Thankful for the dog park so the puppy could run off some energy! Cons: Sites are VERY close together. Of the 4 sites we reserved, only one could fully extend their awnings. We'll stay again!

Very impressed! I had camped here as a child but it was my husbands first time and he loved it. So much for our kids to do, campsites are great size and clean. We will be back for sure!!

Always a great time for us here. My wife loves the trees and shade, my daughter loves the activities, I love the friendly staff and fun things to do nearby. We stay at a lot of KOAs and this is one of the best we regularly go to.

We were in site 165 right when you pull in the campground. Very spacious site but also VERY dusty and so much traffic. We recommend a fence be put up along the main driveway to cut down in the dust and add a little privacy. Otherwise, we had a great time!

Nice and clean campground. And it was very nice to have family and kid friendly activities set up to do over our stay. That’s a really nice amenity! Along with a big playground, jumping pillow, slide, sand/volleyball court, mini golf.... it’s nice to have a wide variety of stuff to do. Thanks for a great stay! We’ll be back!

We were told by the owner that someone made a noise complaint. While, our family had mentioned how loud the neighbors were earlier in the day...but we took the blame for it. It was off putting...a lot of tent sites and rv site right on top of each other. Pay extra for bikes etc. Other places include them in the price. We couldn't use as they said others didn't return them, so no one could rent.

Extremely satisfied! We had a blast with zero issues. You made our first ever camping trip (in our own camper anyway) a wonderful and special memory!

Owner greeted us upon arrival. Very friendly and checked on us to make sure everything was ok. Only criticism is some of the bathrooms are in need of updating, could use a second dump station to alleviate the long wait time on departure. Otherwise, place was great just not as updated as other KOA’s we’ve stayed at. Very friendly/helpful staff.

It was a very clean campground and everything was wonderful. We will definitely be back. Hats off to the staff for being so helpful and always having smiles on their faces!

Enjoyed our site #35 in the pines and not having campers right next to us - benefits of low season camping. Unique use of flowers w/canoes was very nice/welcoming. Highway noise was a lot lower than other KOA's we've stayed at which was a big plus. Definitely would stay at this KOA again in the fall. Thanks!
