Very nice stay, there was a very noisy, barking dog one lane over from us. Very aggressive, barked at everyone that came close. But the Halloween theme was very fun! Also, the arcade was very messy and the kids inside were just disrespectful to the equipment and with their garbage. A person to supervise would be nice.

Everything was great. The only complaint I have is the 2x that I used a restroom while we were there, both toilet seats were very loose. Maybe invest in some brass toilet seat bolts and they’ll stay tightened up. The plastic ones are junk. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked though!

The Staff was very nice and helpful, but the facility has sites that are way too small. It felt like camping in a parking lot with trees. We had to run our awning in just to have a fire and the neighbors truck was in the way to sit around the fire. In the future if we ever decide to use this campground we will rent 2 spots so that we have a spot to actually "CAMP"

Super friendly staff. Kids had a wonderful time. Deluxe cabin was a great choice. Outdoor seating and fire pit were awesome. We will be back next year!!!

Nice large sites, but we were there after Labor Day so I cannot rate all the amenities. But it was clean and the help was great.

Great stay, very friendly staff and very clean. Site 80 - could have used a few less trees on our site, was a very tight fit, couldn't use awnings and couldn't drive out of the pull through, had to back out. 3 trees could come down to make it a much more friendly, big rig site. We enjoyed our stay.

This was the worst KOA we've ever stayed in. We were packed in like a bunch of sardines. With all the smoke, laundry hanging everywhere, and noisy people, we felt like we were in a Civil War Encampment. You should be embarrassed. Maybe you ought to spread things out a bit. We could hear our neighbor's conversations in the campers next to us because they are so close. Never staying again.

If you want great hosts and helpful staff, this is the place for you! We had a girls weekend and rented 2 cabins… it was such a nice time! The pines give it a beautiful night sky, and you are close enough to town if you need anything that their store doesn’t happen to carry…. I cannot say enough about the whole crew! We will be back!!!

The restroom facilities are showing their age. The site we have (152) is too narrow to put our awning out. There are new owner’s and the billing was a little messed up with a new vendor is what I was told. We have stayed here a couple of other times. The narrow sites are not something different. Nice place for families if you are there during peak season. A lot of play equipment for kids.

Came from SE Minnesota to attend my grandson's football game at UMD on Saturday! The koa was peaceful and beautiful and everyone was helpful. The cabin and the bathrooms were very clean. Staff were accommodating and very gracious when my shower interrupted their cleaning process. I will definitely come again when I can stay longer!! Thank you!

Had an issue with another camper parked in our spot, but that was resolved quickly. Enjoyed the facilities and the staff. Brian and Nanci are just amazing and so is the rest of the staff. One of our favorite KOA's and we have stayed at a lot of them.

The KOA is a family favorite. The staff go above and beyond to keep the campground clean, safe and fun! All the staff have genuine smiles on their faces and truly care about their guests. We can tell how invested they all are! Nancy, Vicki and Brian (and a whole lot more… I can’t remember their names) truly make our vacation seem like a home away from home. The stay was great! Many friendly people around our site as well. Kid friendly! We did have an issue with dogs by our site, so we would like to see that policy revisited for future years and future campers, but overall we had a great time.

Bathrooms and showers were SO clean at all times! Love Halloween weekend with activities for the kids! Staff were helpful and they answer the phone whenever I call. Sometimes it can be hard to get a hold of anyone at other campgrounds. We always look forward to returning!

We had a great time with friends this past Labor Day weekend staying at the Hayward KOA. Staff was very friendly and the campground was clean. There are two reasons for the three star rating. One was because the activities cost extra and that adds up quickly for a family with multiple children. The biggest reason was the sites were tiny! So small! We were packed in. No room for beanbags even. :(

Nice campground. Tight spot for a 45 foot coach but we fit. All the kids and families there for the Labor Day weekend made the camping experience extra special.

Enjoyed our site #35 in the pines and not having campers right next to us - benefits of low season camping. Unique use of flowers w/canoes was very nice/welcoming. Highway noise was a lot lower than other KOA's we've stayed at which was a big plus. Definitely would stay at this KOA again in the fall. Thanks!
