Such an awesome place with lots of activities for the kids! Bathrooms were super clean and the whole staff was friendly and very helpful. We will be back

Everything was nice, it was very busy on Friday/Saturday which was to be expected, Sunday afternoon was great! Older kids running wild made it a little tough with younger kids in the play area, but again, not much to be done about that.

We enjoyed the big cabin, but the ceiling in the loft was extremely low for adults or tall kids to walk up there. The 9’ pool was very nice, but we planned to do the water slide on Sunday, August 23. The office said it was closed because there wasn’t enough workers to open it. I had 3 very disappointed Granddaughters !!! :(

We were very disappointed that the waterslide and the tubing was not available on Sunday. We were not told us when we arrived on Friday and we’re not able to use it all

We stay at this KOA at least once every year. Our most recent stay was 5 days, so we purchased the 7-day wristband that would allow the kids to use the waterslide, jumping pillow, and go tubing during our stay. We were very disappointed to discover that the waterslide and tubing are now closed Sunday and Monday, though we were not told that when purchasing wristbands.

Pros: Kamping Kitchen is fabulous, staff/owner very nice, bathrooms stocked and clean, great food. Cons: We have stayed at many KOAs over the years, this is the first time we felt very cramped with no personal space at our Cabin site. Because it clearly says you cannot request sites we most likely would not choose this KOA for our family in the future. Otherwise very nice KOA!

This was my second year at KOA with my daughter and we absolutely loved it. We will definitely be a yearly camper.

We had an amazing time! Only recommendation is for kids to get wristbands for water slide. The attendant accused my kids of not paying, so I had to go to office and have them pull my credit card receipt to prove that I paid.

We had a wonderful stay! Even with the rainy weather we stayed busy and loved all the activities Saturday night!

It was ok. The staff were friendly. It did get flooded due to storms. The teepee (only two on the whole campground) was neat but smelled of must and mold very bad. Something should be done to dry it out and protect from mold and overpowering smell. I wouldn't rent it there again because of that fact. I have seen teepees in other KOA that didn't have that issue.

People drinking alcohol while swimming in pool,staff driving golfcarts at night with no headlights, and loud noises all night like someone chopping wood.

We enjoyed our stay and were able to access trails direct from campground. The sites were very tight for bigger rigs with trailers and having a firepit close to our sites. Did not use pool so I can’t comment.

It's obvious that the owners really are trying to share their home with us. We are repeat visitors and the place is always well taken care of and prepared.

Always wonderful. Just upset as we booked an A and B site for a combined birthday party and our B site was given away. So we had a camper between our birthday party all weekend. Put a damper on the whole situation.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were very grateful for the covered cooking area to hang out under during the rain.

Felt welcomed the moment we pulled into the campground. The owner waved us to the check-in area & gave us a friendly hello & direction. Friendly staff throughout. Clean. Loved the back-in site with beautiful pines behind us. So many great amenities within the grounds for families w/children. All the hanging baskets and canoes filled with flowers showed a loving touch. Will definitely visit again.

Wow... blown away! We walked away from 3 days at another RV park- lost $$$. so glad we did! When we drove in we knew we made the right decision. We had so much fun-pool and river tubing but we ran out of time for other activities! Everything was SO CLEAN, every time day or night I used bathroom/shower there was someone cleaning-never out of supplies! Easy to access dump station! AWESOME PLACE

Very impressed with cleaning staff and how nice they where. Bathrooms and showers where always clean and even gave one of the workers my wireless speaker to make his music louder! Thank you for the clean place to stay!!

Very accommodating and very friendly , even the guys that maintain the campground are fantastic! There’s pretty much everything you could need for Glamping! Loved the stay and look forward to staying with them again!!! Thank you!

We spent the weekdays of August 17 to 21 at Hayward KOA. WE avoided the weekends to avoid the crowds, which worked fine for us and allowed social distancing. The COVID 19 did restrict us from some of our favorite pass times while there, but we got a lot of walking in and it was pleasant.

The KOA had a lot to do, very enjoyable. When it down poured that night we had a river flowing under our tent. We'll stay here again but not that tent site. A minimum of 3 days for a camping cabin? When my wife and I travel we go on a "trip", multiple single night stays at a number of KOAs. If KOAs are going to require multiple days for a camping cabin then KOAs will no longer work for us.

We were very disappointed that we were not informed earlier or even when we checked in that tubing was not available this year. Especially since we bought the wrist bands that included tubing! That should have been made clear at check in.

It was quiet campground. Firewood did not burn very well. To wet so it smoked instead of burn. On Monday when we were ready to pull out my husband was denied the use of the restroom because they wanted to clean. They had not started cleaning the mens room so they could have let him use the rest room. Why are they cleaning when you know campers pull out between 9-11?

It was great! My two year old had a blast, made a new friend and all the activities were age appropriate for the whole family! Tubing was fun and he just couldn't get enough of that waterslide. The playground also had tons of different things to do which was nice, he didn't have one bored moment!

Enjoyed our site #35 in the pines and not having campers right next to us - benefits of low season camping. Unique use of flowers w/canoes was very nice/welcoming. Highway noise was a lot lower than other KOA's we've stayed at which was a big plus. Definitely would stay at this KOA again in the fall. Thanks!
