Way too many people. Way too close together. Charged for all activities besides the pool. Not relaxing at all. Will not stay again. Will not recommend.

sites were way to close to each other felt like u were camping with strangers. Had 3 bulbs out in cabin one I understand but they must not check that when cleaning. The worst I thought is you pay for camping at the camp ground you would think u wouldn’t have to pay extra for there amenities like jumping pillow water slide golf only camp ground u have to pay to use them that was very disappointed

Only complaint is the three wheel bikes were in poor shape. My grandsons were disappointed because they looked forward to riding them. Most were out of service for repairs.

Great place to take kids with all the amenities. Overall very clean, helpful staff and nice setting. Being next to a busy road, traffic was loud at bedtime. We stayed in the tee pee. Fun experience and no bugs even with open top.

We loved everything expect how close our cabin was to the park, dump station, etc. There were so many open cabins off the main road so it didn’t make any sense that we had that one.

Your park is always so nice and well kept but this time when we stayed you had some very raunchy drunk people in the camper across from us. The language was so bad we had to put the kids inside. I am not sure what you could have done about that but just letting you know.

We stayed in the teepee since it was all that was available the weekend we were in town. However, after seeing it, experiencing it, and being informed that it is incorrectly constructed, we came to the conclusion that a teepee like that is dishonoring to Native American tradition. I recommend the Hayward KOA remove the teepee sites and replace them with tent sites or additional RV sites.

We were disappointed that tubing down the river wasn't available. We purchased wrist bands for tubing and were not able to fully use them. There was not any signs stating that tubing down the river was not available.

I did not stay. I packed all. Drove 1 1/2 hours. They gave me cabin key. Cabin was occupied. I waited over 2 hours to get resolved. I finally said im over it and drove back home. Not happy

Stay was good. We were in a big group and all 13 kids got the unlimited wrist bands. Jumping pillow was closed for being too wet??? Could not tube down the river because the tube driver quit. Would not let us take and return the tubes ourselves. Asked about refund for wrist band, they said no. Said new owners, sorry.

Please get the river tubing figured out. This is our second year that we have not been able to tube. I called a week before our arrival and was told tubing was open only to find out it wasn’t AFTER we checked in.

The deluxe cabin was nice and stocked with utensils, plates and glasses, a grill and chairs outside. But the 2nd day we were there we noticed a mildew smell in the cabin and there were many spots of the floor that were soft. It looked like they had probably been repaired before, so I am assuming there was water damage at some point that should be addressed again. Nice getaway couple days!

Our cabin was clean. We did not have daily garbage pick up and thought all KOA's did that. Was in the bathroom when a cleaning lady cleaned and she was not thorough. She started out by going to the bathroom and then did not wash her hands. She didn't clean the sinks before she left.

Very clean, friendly staff, however sites are very close together and paying for bounce pillow is a bit of a reach. The biggest negative factor was proximity to the highway. Every semi and compensating Hayward kid with a loud truck sounded like they were driving through our campsite at 2 am.

Everything is great but the pool should stay open at least until 10.....closing at dusk (8:45) on the weekend and what you consider your holiday weekends is absolutely ridiculous. Really not sure why you want feedback, nothing will change anyway

We had a great time overall! The sites were a little small and the road noise was a little bothersome, but the kids loved the pool and the food from the cafe was good. The playgrounds kept the kids busy and the bathrooms were clean and in good shape.

Great job Jose on cleaning the cabin. Didn't see the owners at all. Saw them often last year. We have pizza on the first night, but the Red Pine was closed so we had to order from town. Also, dissapointed that the Red Pine wasn't open for breakfast as the literature stated. The only employees that really talked to us were the wood delivery guy and the gal at check out. 2020 camping was far better.

We been going to the hayward koa for over 20 years...this year was probably one of the best..it was well ran..very organized..EXTREMELY CLEAN especially the bathrooms...Jose and crew are awesome..don't loose those folks!! We had a friend who joined us for the day..she is a germ freak and she even commented on how neat and lean the bathrooms were..best compliment you can get!!! haha...thanks

Wonderful experience from making our reservation (Nancy is a star) to checking out and everything in between. The attention to detail was impressive. The cleanliness outstanding! We will definitely be returning and have told others about our great experience.

We had so much fun! Great place with lots to keep everyone of any age busy! My 4 year old cried when we had to leave! I think I cried with her haha. We made amazing memories during our stay. I grew up coming there and now I am making those same memories with my kids. Can not wait to come back but next time we plan on staying a lot longer!

We come back every year for our family reunion and love it. Our only request is that something is done about all the tree stumps back by KL9. My son and his cousins tripped and fell multiple times on them, but worse than that, my 71 year old mother tripped on one and cut her hand open. Please please do something about this hazard! Other than that, it's our favorite weekend of the year!

KOA Hayward is amazing with many activities for all ages!! The staff is friendly and the grounds and bathroom/showers are very clean!

It might be nice for families with small children but not for adults. Way to crowded. And I guess I’ve been spoiled from other KOAs because the bathroom and showers were not very nice.

Great stay at one of your deluxe cabins. Some repairs with shower knob and air conditioner needed, but overall very nice. Wanted to rent bikes and were told no because we were 4 minutes after 7pm. Rentals are for 1hour, we didn’t understand this!

Love the friendly and relaxing atmosphere. We have always loved Hayward. I have been enjoying camping at KOA for the last, at least 20 year’s and will continue to visit as long as possible

I actually had a great week, family time was much needed. Kids were able to run and have fun. My week ended badly at check out, I was charged a damage fee for something I did not do. I talked to owner and he was very rude to me and came up with accusations that were no true..This was our second year camping, not so sure I will be back..

The grounds and everything were kept cleaned all throughout our stay. Mostly all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We love KOA and will continue to keep coming every year

Our family had a great time! We rented two deluxe cabins and a camper spot. All the employees were really friendly and really nice. The owners welcomed us as we arrived! A lot of fun things to do right in the campground!

Enjoyed our site #35 in the pines and not having campers right next to us - benefits of low season camping. Unique use of flowers w/canoes was very nice/welcoming. Highway noise was a lot lower than other KOA's we've stayed at which was a big plus. Definitely would stay at this KOA again in the fall. Thanks!
