Very friendly staff, clean camp site , beautifully trees and people. Common kitchen and the bathrooms are clean and near by. Overall, excellent experience...well maintained facility.

The “owner” doesn’t allow the campers to stay out past 11pm. Camping isn’t suppose to be about rules.. you should be having drinks and meeting new people. We where out past curfew and we had multiple workers asking us to quiet down and remind us curfew was 11. Where where talking to each other quietly.. everything was expensive… 80.00 for a water slide ect I’ll never take my family bac

The staff is friendly, helpful, and informative. George was amazing and made us feel very welcomed. The red pine express employees were a little rude.

This is an awesome place for families with kids but not a great match for me. I left after one night. I wanted a quiet peaceful weekend and it was just too busy and loud for me. Excellent for kids. Great playground and activities. Pet friendly. But not the best match if you want the quiet woods experience. Staff was great.

We always stay with KOA and are never disappointed. The ground/buildings were clean. Plenty to do for the kids. Had a deluxe tent site for 5 nights and never felt crowded and quiet every night. The other perk we noticed-lack of bugs. I'm not sure they sprayed but in my experience camping-there are always at least mosquitoes and we noticed none. It rained once-saw a few but that was it.

All was fantastic accept the location of our tent site in comparison to bathroom/shower location. It was exhausting to haul little ones across the map to use the facility... Other than bathroom/shower inconvenience, we had a great experience! Clean and tiddy ran � grounds!

The KOA in Hayward was a blast! Very Family oriented, kids will love it! Didnt care for the extra charges for water slide and bouncy pillow. But I would pay it again, to see the smiles!

We have been coming for several years and have always have a great time and experience. This year was the worst. First we were given the wrong site and was not told till after we were ALL setup. They made us move even after we told them we were all setup. They made no effort to accommodate us. We had to pack up and move. All we were given for our troubles was a free bundle of wood.

We LOVE it there....#Heaven! We love that there are NO mosquitoes. We love the pool, the activities....everything! Thanks, we hope to come back again this summer, but either way, for sure next year!!!

Owner was present and very nice and welcoming, but the campground for tents was dirt, not grass, and there were so many campfires it was smokey and terrible for children at night.

This was our second stay, last year we left a day early because our tepee's got wet and cold inside, unfortunately this year we again had to leave a day early as my daughter was hurt during our stay. The time we did get to utilize the campsite was wonderful, we enjoyed every minute of it. It was clean and everyone was polite. the atmosphere was relaxing. i would recommend this to all my friends.

Had a great time. Pool was nice and clean. Water was warm. Good variety of items in the store. I would recommend adding more food choices in Red Pine. Also, it'd be nice to hear some music while at the pool. We'll be back - awesome time.

What an amazing family camp ground. Five stars to the young ladies working as life guards at the life on 6/17 so interactive with my young boys. I was beyond impressed. We will be back to visit again very soon!

Amazing very clean and Joyce in the kitchen area was such a sweetheart we felt very welcomed from the entry meeting the owner right off the bat. We had other plans while we were there but when we come back will spend more time at the campground we look forward to finding others thank you and your wonderful staff!!

Everything was so clean!!! We loved it so much! All the amenities were great. Our first time camping ever and it was wonderful. Can’t wait to come back!

Lots of fun activities 1st camping trip of the year and very 1st camping trip for my kids they had a lot of fun I would highly recommend this place for camping. Staff at KOA was friendly.

After having our stay canceled by another place the night before we were to arrive we were able to secure two sites at Hayward. Booking on line was easy and the staff was great. Very personable experiences lots to do facilities were kept clean and they did a great job considering pandemic was going on. 8 thumbs up from us.

We had an overall wonderful experience. The only downfall was the 2/3 days the playground was taped off and the jumpy pillow was something our kids were really looking forward to but they never got to try it because the worker said it had to dry off from getting wet the night before. The kids waited patiently for hours to let it dry and the worker still told them no after waiting.

We where very pleased with our stay. We wanted a quick get away for a weekend and this worked for us. The restroom/ showers were very clean and maintained all the time AWSOME job. And the front desk service was very good as well.

Hayward KOA has a ton of great amenities to keep the children happy and occupied. The facilities were clean and the staff were quite friendly! I cannot wait to go back, hopefully with some better weather.

Campground is very well kept. My only complaint would be on Friday night people around us were very loud until almost 3 am. Did not get any sleep. Told the staff the next day and they dealt with it promptly. I like that this campground is directly connected to some of the best ATV trails I have been on. Also close proximity to Hayward when you wanted to do some shopping or to eat.

The KOA had a lot to do, very enjoyable. When it down poured that night we had a river flowing under our tent. We'll stay here again but not that tent site. A minimum of 3 days for a camping cabin? When my wife and I travel we go on a "trip", multiple single night stays at a number of KOAs. If KOAs are going to require multiple days for a camping cabin then KOAs will no longer work for us.

Enjoyed our site #35 in the pines and not having campers right next to us - benefits of low season camping. Unique use of flowers w/canoes was very nice/welcoming. Highway noise was a lot lower than other KOA's we've stayed at which was a big plus. Definitely would stay at this KOA again in the fall. Thanks!
