Only there for a night but it was a great site. Nice to ride the creek in a tube and cool off. Met one of the owners. She was very nice. They also allowed us to check in early.

I knew to expect cabin camping, but... my complaints are the lack of attention to those things complained of. You staff is wonderful, but definitely overworked. The TV in SL1 main area didn't work, we complained & got no attention. The shower was clogged & we fixed it ourselves as we received no response. Power went out. Neighbors complained of bees in their cabin & no response. Disappointing.

We really enjoyed our stay and had a lot of fun while we were there, I’m going to have to give a 4 star rating only because the pool was not heated and was absolutely freezing, the kids that were in the pool their teeth were chattering and one girl was turning light blue, the river was warmer than the pool, everything else was top notch

Our stay was wonderful! We purchased river tubes and rode the "rapids", we sluiced for Herkimer Diamonds and our granddaughter enjoyed both playgrounds. We hope to get back next year to dig in the mines! Our site was a beautiful river view, relaxing to listen to the rushing water at night and fun to hear the excited voices of the rafters going by during the day!

The staff was very kind and attentive. The only trouble we had was people continually walking through our camp sites (maybe take a site and make it a walk through spot there to the pool/store)and they drive too fast in the campgrounds, you need speed limit signs or speed bumps. Other than that we had a wonderful time.

We were there for four days and wish we could have stayed another four! The staff was very helpful in anything you had to ask a question and tons of people working. We absolutely loved our time there. Made reservations for future weeks and weekends!

We had the best tent camping trip at Herkimer KOA! There was so much to do that our kids loved: tubing and playing in the river, giant chess, renting pedal carts, the pool, and biking the trails. The staff were always very friendly and helpful, and the activities were great. Don't miss the ice cream social and dance party!

The staff was very helpful. Our initial spot was too narrow with the neighbors and the staff jumped right in and provided a larger gorgeous spot. The grounds are beautiful and the river is lovely.

We love this camp ground .Too bad they make it so hard to get reservations for the next year .I wish they would change there policy to open up on Jan first.instead of having to wait to the exact date one year ahead .I'm afraid we won't be able to have our family outing next year due to not knowing this and it's all booked Please do like other camp grounds and open up reservations

We have stayed several years. This year the campground was not as well kept and store not as stocked. Rafting was dangerous with no warnings from camp. Bathrooms were gross.

Very frustrated with owners and camp manager not returning calls or stopping by my site to address an issue. I will not recommend this KOA to anyone

The staff was amazing! But it was overcrowded, rules of not parking on the grass weren't followed, every time I said something to the staff they said they would take care of it but for the two nights that I spent there the car of my neighbor was parked on the grass and then a 2nd car parked next to it. I was a little disappointed! Other than that the bathrooms are clean and the stay was ok.

It was an awesome campground. Only complaint was there was only one shower for the tent campers and it was under construction, but the showers across the field were great.

This was our second camping experience in a 24ft rv so we are still learning. You staff made us feel welcome and was tremendously helpful. Campground was clean and well maintained. We especially appreciate your clean dog park area

The campground deserves 5 stars but our arrival (we were the only ones arriving at the time) was full of confusion; the site too small for our coach (45’ Class A). We were in one of the gravel with cement patio back ins $$$, just past office (site #14 was too short to level coach & too narrow for RV plus up a hill with ditches on both sides. Class A’s try #11. It’s a busy but beautiful campg

Cabin and facilities were wonderful except for the mattress and box spring in our cabin, which was clean but the springs were worn out and bed sagged in the middle with poor support for our backs. The water from the tap had a strange scent and taste. Enjoyed everything else, and loved finding Herkimer diamonds.

Staff was helpful and very friendly. Everything was very clean. Only stayed 1 night on our way to Maine. Would like to return and stay longer in the future.

We had the most fabulous time! Top 5 of ALL of our vacations ever! We plan on returning next year for a week long stay :) Thank you, thank you, thank you! Lodge was immaculate and EVERY staff member went above and beyond. We greatly appreciate the service.

The site were way too close and I did not enjoy having lunch outside with somebody sewer six feet away. You should revamp your system you're only talking 15 ft out your door maybe 20 and you got another person sewer in the back of their slide.

I was not very impressed with how small and packed in the sites were. The water view was nice and the pool was good. The kids activities were nice, but it was a little pricy for what was offered. They also mowed the grass all day on Thursday and the dump station is on a hill which made it almost impossible to get it out of the tanks. Furthermore, we liked the Ace of Diamonds mine better than KOA.

Just an overnight enroute. Very impressed and have already recommended to friends and family. Goose Busters to keep the Canadian Goose poop down would be the only recommendation.

The staff at this KOA was EXCEPTIONAL, especially Cliff! Resort is amazing! Loved the Diamond Mine across the street and tubing down West Canada Creek. Can’t wait to go back!

When we arrived there was a mix up on dates. I never received a confirmation & didn’t think of it because I was planning several days of lodging. I later found out that the email on file was wrong. The manager on duty was able to find us lodging on site for the night. Our only complaint is that we were not staying longer. Thank you to the staff for being so accommodating.

Good hospitality, plenty of things to do for the kids, beautiful views. Non-premium sites by the water are not made for large rigs (sites are tight and tough to back in to), fill could be used to help aid with water drainage. Overall, we had a fun time!

Great place to bring young children. Very clean facilities. We stayed in K7. OK except the floor seemed swept but not mopped. Ants. On another issue. All was great until our last night when a huge group of people showed up renting most of the cabins surrounding me. Screaming kids. Loud. Music till past midnight. No one around to enforce quiet time. I asked them to quiet down. No luck.

Some of the staff was not friendly and our campsite was in a ridiculous spot. There really should be someone going around the grounds at night because there were kids out after 10 who decided to hammer the pad in front of the store (they left marks on the pavement) and screamed at the top of their lungs when the people next to us had small kids who were trying to sleep. Otherwise the stay was ok

I’m usually more of a wilderness camper, and didn’t have a high expectation, but it was great! Really clean! Lots of friendly staff. My 7-yr old grandson had a blast! We all did

We have a long 42' fifth wheel, and the only sites available were Backin's. The staff assisted in parking and provided us firewood for the task of getting our rig in the space. We were right on the river and had a great visit. Thank you, John

I have to say I was very disappointed in the lack of communication about the water…coming in as a new camper we look at the river and see people going down it doesn’t raise a flag with us we went on it and my daughter and I got hurt we were very lucky the sign they put up was very small at check in they should had said something also advertise a/c and heat in our cabin plus dirty mattress

A few things that could be better. 1. Toilet sanitizer in bathrooms 2. A stepstool, or a shorter sink for kids to wash hands. 3. A more spacious bathroom for bathing kids

I love this place and definitely coming back within the near future, breaking rocks open is very satisfying and you possibly can get a nice reward like quarts or herkimer diamond and many more, one reccomend thought wear long sleeves long pants or shirts so bits of rock dosent hurt at all also reccomend gloves they help with also the rocks fly at you and they lower the chances of you getting a blister, in all do I recommend this place, very much so (PS:bring equipment such as mallets and plastic protection glass also like a small zip lock if you fine something you like)
