First we were given a site with no sewer when we had requested full hookups. Then we were charged more and moved to a very narrow and not level site for our 2 night stay. The remainder of our visit was fine.

Check in was fast and friendly. I have a 17th tow behind camper and requested a power and waterpull-thru site. It was within 25 ft of office/store. later that afternoon, I walked around the campgrounds. Saw several vacant pull-thru sites in a section further from the office. perhaps those where specific for class-C RVs. I could have requested move but didn't. The option would've been nice.

Last minute getaway, 2 nights! Love the upgrades since last time we were there. Nice creek sites and cabins. Can’t wait to come back in the spring.

This place was having a scout camp or something and was SO OVERLY crowded. We couldn’t even enjoy the park because of the scouts everywhere. The bathrooms had toilet paper everywhere and were gross. Just be aware they over book!

Lovely campground. Our site was right along the river. We cannot rate your total facility because we didn't use any of them except our site. If I had a criticism it would be that the sites are a little close together. When our neighbor pulled in and extended his bump-outs, his were literally inches from ours.

Beautiful well-kept campground. Only stayed one night passing through on our way home and we’d definitely love to come back. The only thing I paid $5 for fast speed internet and it kept booting me out and was unable to get any internet not even the slow speed with their password. But overall loved the site

Most expensive place we stayed with minimal services. Cable TV sucked and had to pay extra for high speed internet to stream. Dog park is small. Very disappointing.

Beautiful KOA, we love the sites on the creek. So relaxing!! Thank you for all your hard work! The breakfast sandwiches are so good!!! We will be back next year!

This was our first time time out since the beginning of Covid. Even though it rained nearly all of our three day stay we enjoyed the area. Maintenance is clearly a priority here. The restrooms were super clean and well stocked with paper supplies. We were very glad to have the concrete pads since everything was so wet.

Full hookup site 67. Site is called a "buddy" so our patio faced our neighbors patio.No privacy from our neighbors. Patios only a few feet apart. fire pits only 10 feet apart. We have 4 kids and 2 large dogs. This type of set up does not work well for us. The website does not state this in description. If the site did explain this we would not have booked. Every camper near us complained about it

This was our first stay at this campground. I can’t say this would be my favorite place to camp. Sites are rather close, the cable TV didn’t work and the WiFi was spotty at best. When all it did was rain, and it was cold, it would have been nice to be able to watch some TV or the Roku at night. I can’t say the cost was worth it for us. We may give this location another try, hope it’s bette

Despite many open sites put us next to a leaking water pipe and muddy trench, had to walking in mud to hook. Led us to the back-in site and then left. No assistance getting into our spot. Did not feel welcome at office or on site. Free internet was so slow as to be useless despite low capacity during rainy October weekend.

I appreciate it the free stay due to my problems when I was there over the summer. However I was quite upset when I found out through your maintenance man I had no cable TV. The other problem I had was when I ordered food from the miners club they said they were understaffed and couldn't deliver. I could not pick up the food because it was raining so hard and I was hooked up to my truck and to.

A true Diamond in the middle of a forest. The RV facilities were good, clean and easy to navigate with my Clads A. However, the Visitor Diamond Mining, Mining history of the site and the area along with the Trading Store and other related activities were a delight and a total surprise. We was were only an overnight visitor but thoroughly enjoyed our short visit and plan to come again.

One of the most beautiful campgrounds we have ever stayed at! The view of the West Canada Creek is worth every penny they charged for our full hookup site.

Other than having to deal with a broken water line causing standing water and mud in the assigned parking space, it was a nice visit. The first week of October we hoped to see some leaf change and by taking day trips 50 miles north, to Speculator one day and Old Forge another, we were rewarded with near peak color. This KOA is also in easy driving distance of the Cooperstown Baseball HoF

Beautiful campground. Close to things to visit. Loved the dismond mine across the road and also the restaurant which is part of the KOA. The meal we had was excellent and sure had plenty to eat. Loved our deluxe site with a full concrete pad propane grill table with table with chairs and umbrella and another bench for 2. Well kept up KOA. Some sites were very close together . Nice cabins.

Enjoyed staying in October, beautiful fall weather, however river too fast for fishing but enjoyed the Diamond Mine and truly appreciated the military discount. Site #82 on the river was very spacious.

Nice campgrounds. Friendly staff. The staff were especially accommodating when our truck broke down and we could not tow our fifth wheel home. We had to have our son come get our camper and tow it home. The staff let us leave our camper there past checkout and blocked the site until we were able to pick up the camper later in the day.

I love this place and definitely coming back within the near future, breaking rocks open is very satisfying and you possibly can get a nice reward like quarts or herkimer diamond and many more, one reccomend thought wear long sleeves long pants or shirts so bits of rock dosent hurt at all also reccomend gloves they help with also the rocks fly at you and they lower the chances of you getting a blister, in all do I recommend this place, very much so (PS:bring equipment such as mallets and plastic protection glass also like a small zip lock if you fine something you like)
