We have been coming here since 2007 and are always pleased. This time however our site had no water spigot that I could see. I would have planned accordingly had I known.

Quick overnight last minute stay. A little pricey. Clean campground. Bought tubes to go down creek. AFTER purchasing was told it wasn't recommended on that particular day and that I couldn't return the tubes. Literally 10 seconds after transaction. Bathroom was not very clean. Pool was freezing cold even though it was 80 degrees out.

Only issue was the cleanliness of the men’s rooms. There was feces on the toilets and the floor. Could not “sit” on the toilets. Did notify the office.

Sewer line clog/leak resulted in septic water gathering on one side of concrete pad where we had chairs, etc. Smelled sewer for 24 hours. Emergency service could do nothing. told someone would be out 1st thing in AM no one showed until 10:30am. Aware of problem but did not tell other campers in area to not pump which resulted in more sewer water accumulating. Upset especially with 3 kids.

We love Herkimer KOA and come back a few times a year! Great activities for the kids and the staff are all awesome! The campground is well run and very clean!

Our stay was wonderful as usual but the booking program Herkimer is horrible .We might not be able to do our yearly camping family outing due to you reservation policy's of not being able to pre-book for the following year .I sure wish you would change it like every camp ground but yours has ..

Very nice people at the counter. Excellent bathroom and shower facility. The whole park is nicely laid out and clean. Spent two days breaking rocks for the Herkimer Diamonds. This my second time at this park and will visit again.

Staff was all amazing. They seemed spread thin however. We stayed in the tree house...the sink is way too small for washing dishes I ended up washing them in the bathtub

the cabin smelled like sewage and the shower backed up the first night i called and no answer next morning still no answer and no one got any sleep because of the smell

The staff were very helpful loaning us with an electric adapter. Staff were very friendly. Would be nice if sites across from office had trees for shade. Didn't appreciate a camper being told to empty their sewer next to our trailer. That is why there is a dump station. Appreciate how well maintained the campground is.

The place was great my kids and I had a blast and will definitely be returning! Customer service went above and beyond in every aspect. 5 stars to Employees Josh and Tom! You guys were great! The only reason I couldn’t give you guys a 10 out of 10 was the shower water pressure is not good

Site was small. Person next to us pulled in front wards and our awnings almost touched. Site not level at all.

Never had an issue there at all we have been going for years! A few weeks ago we had neighbors partying all night long playing music well past 3am, they were walking thru my site and one of their kids even tried to take food from my table, and I am sure my dog got nipped by one that was not tied up. I lodged some complaints with no response after being told I would.

Clean campsites, clean bathrooms, friendly staff. We had our group of 18 in three deluxe tent sites, plus two cabins. The only suggestion would be to update the online reservation system so we can book a year in advance online (we called the desk and already reserved for next year).

The cabin was very clean with everything we needed. However, we rented the astrology lodge and could not get the telescope to work. I wish a worker would’ve have come to show us at nighttime the first night so we could enjoy it. I also wish there was some warning about river conditions as my husband broke his toe and we had to check out early.

We love the Canada creek. I do not however love the sites. Our last three trips here have not wowed me on the site we were given. Mud pits that should have been filled, uneven stone/concrete, unfinished maintenance/upgrades. Called before we arrived and staff said it’s a great spot and we would love it. Uh, not exactly for the price. Overall nice staff, they try. Love the food del.

We spent some time at the diamond mine and there were 30-40 minute waits for a drink or food. Very inconsiderate of people’s time. We tried to eat at the Miner’s Table. Upon entering, no one greeted us. After 5 minutes some bus boys asked us to move aside. We made eye contact with the bartender who promptly turned away. The campground is nice. The campground claims to be smoke free but people were regularly smoking near the pool and at sites around us. For someone with asthma this was a problem. The sites are nice but the sites by the river force you to be buddies with people who don’t know which doesn’t work well especially if they are smoking. The stay was nice but there were a few issues.

Owner greeted us on arrival to make sure we got to our site ok. Employee Harold was AMAZING! So friendly, brought us firewood, went above and beyond. Site was so clean, great location. Gorgeous.

The wifi is awful. Most of the time you could not log onto it. I realize it was supposed to be slow. But no access was a problem for our 3 night stay. And interesting enough I couldn’t get cell service in camp but not even an 1/8 of mile from camp we had full service. Kinda odd

Lovely shaded site, close to amenities. Very helpful staff. Nice feature is that you can order from the Miners Table Restaurant (menu is included at check in) and they will delivery you campsite.

Nobody there told us the west canada creek was dangerous for tubing. they didn’t tell us the creek had been closed to tubers in the area and surrounding campgrounds. there is no clear conspicuous sign telling tubers where to exit from the creek. we almost drown. not a hyperbole. we are excellent swimmers but the current and missing the exit almost led us to drown. people tubed all day every day.

I love this place and definitely coming back within the near future, breaking rocks open is very satisfying and you possibly can get a nice reward like quarts or herkimer diamond and many more, one reccomend thought wear long sleeves long pants or shirts so bits of rock dosent hurt at all also reccomend gloves they help with also the rocks fly at you and they lower the chances of you getting a blister, in all do I recommend this place, very much so (PS:bring equipment such as mallets and plastic protection glass also like a small zip lock if you fine something you like)
