We were the first to be in the diggers den & maybe there wasn’t time to take care of a few things. The curtains had not been ironed and were very wrinkly. The front burner on our stove was not functioning and there was a sign to attest to that. There were many other small inconveniences but none that affected our ability to remain there.

The staff was amazing three really stuck out for us Harold Chris B and Chris W they were so helpful and just went above and beyond the only bad thing I will say is the pizza from the miners table was so bad I threw out a whole pizza but besides that my family had a great time and will be going back very soon.

Stayed in one of the small cabins as a convenient place to be for a two-day stint at the mines. Was a great choice, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to do the same.

My wife and I loved staying in the Tree House, very cool. We look foraward to comming back with our family.

We stayed at the tree house. We had some problems with the TV (fixed within the hour) and the tub (never fixed), but it was quite comfy overall. Still, I’m not sure $235/night is worth it. Also, as an aside, the KOA restaurant across the road was quite bad. The service was chilly at best, and the food was terrible — and it’s not cheap. Drive the 6 miles into town for dinner.

Great place to stay! Getting really expensive as of late however. If prices keep rising we may need to look into other campgrounds. Yikes!!!

We had a good time tubing and staying at the cabin. The food was delicious at the restaurant!!! Because we love Steve and Joanne’s food!. We have told many people how great our trip was!

Second year at this KOA and we plan to book next year. Very quiet, clean, great customer service, and access to a surprisingly fabulous restaurant!

We had such a blast! Such a great, fun place for the family! The only thing we didn't totally like is the camp sites are very close together and the site we had was rocky. But that's easy to get passed! I highly recommend adding this to the list of family trips to take!!

My son, grandkids, and I stayed only one night in the fisherman’s lodge but it was wonderful! The cabin was so clean and it was really close to the river. We had a great time! It was my first time there, but my son had been to a different cabin a couple of times before. My only regret is that we didn’t book this cabin ahead of time for a longer stay.

I thought I’d made a reservation online, but it apparently didn’t confirm. Staff took care of us, and the campsite was awesome. Definitely coming again.

We stayed in a rustic cabin, it was very clean. Only wished the bathroom was a little bit closer since we stayed in cabin K-19. Regarding bathrooms it would be nice to have a screen door on main door to keep bugs out. Otherwise they were clean.

The glamping cabins were perfect for our family of four. The views are gorgeous and overall we were super happy with our stay.

This is a nice KOA with great facilities and amenities for the kids. My only problem with this KOA was that they have a dead-end. This street is not marked. We arrived at night in the dark and I took a wrong turn down this road. I was able to u-turn out of there, but if you had a large trailer you would have had to reverse for a long way. Most KOAs have trailer-friendly layouts so I was surprised.

A wet but great stay. Haven’t been in a couple of years and was amazed how wonderful everything was. The entire facility looks great. The personnel all friendly and helpful. First time in a Clamping Pocket. It was very comfortable from top to bottom. Next time we want a cabin on the water.

A little puffed off when the owner parked in driveway to our handicapped cabin. Air conditioning a bit wimpy. Definitely need more lighting . But everything else was great. Suspicious activity going on in vacant DK5 by employees in golf carts. Several going in for 3-5 mins, not cleaning. One individual came out with drastic changes to actions. We all suspected a drug stop.

We booked 3 nights Mon. Thur Thurs. There was a Lula theme for the week and none of the activities were in reference as stated in the online activities guide. The activities were set up very poorly planned and no thought to them...very disappointed children. When there were activities the staff were on there watches/cell phones not interacting with the kids. Teens mowing lawn to fast.

I love this place and definitely coming back within the near future, breaking rocks open is very satisfying and you possibly can get a nice reward like quarts or herkimer diamond and many more, one reccomend thought wear long sleeves long pants or shirts so bits of rock dosent hurt at all also reccomend gloves they help with also the rocks fly at you and they lower the chances of you getting a blister, in all do I recommend this place, very much so (PS:bring equipment such as mallets and plastic protection glass also like a small zip lock if you fine something you like)
